About Slovakia

Slovakia is a landlocked country in central Europe, bordering Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Austria, and the Czech Republic. With sprawling mountains, rolling hills, springs, and rivers, the country boasts some stunning landscapes. Foreign patients, particularly from Austria, France, England, and Italy, come to Slovakia to undergo high-quality plastic surgery, dental care, and fertility procedures. In addition, the country also offers climatic treatment, with numerous specialist resorts providing professional spa treatments.

Most international flights to Slovakia land at M. R. Štefánik Airport (also known as Bratislava Airport). It serves flights to numerous countries around Europe and the Middle East, including London, Dubai, and Moscow. Several budget airlines operate flights from this airport, including Ryanair and Wizz Air. Domestic flights are available, but since distances are not too great, it is more cost-effective and easier to use the bus and rail network.
