Cheapest Countries for Dental Implants in 2026

Dental implant and All-on-4 prices compared country by country, from Turkey, Hungary and Mexico to Thailand, and what else to weigh up before you choose.

Mymeditravel

Updated September 2026. Prices in this guide come from the starting prices clinics list on MyMediTravel, converted to US dollars. Each range runs from the lower quarter to the upper quarter of those listings, so the cheapest and most expensive outliers are left out.

Dental implants are one of the main reasons people travel for treatment: a single implant can cost several thousand dollars in the UK, US or Australia, and a full mouth far more. This guide compares what clinics in each country actually list on MyMediTravel, so you can see where implants cost least and what else to weigh up before choosing.

Dental implant prices by country

Prices are for a single implant. Countries are listed from cheapest to most expensive by their middle price; only countries with at least six clinics listing a price are included.

CountryTypical starting price per implantMiddle priceClinics listing a price
Turkey$300 to $520$35065
Hungary$580 to $750$66017
Poland$630 to $810$69016
Costa Rica$660 to $790$75013
Mexico$700 to $790$75038
Brazil$360 to $880$7509
Vietnam$590 to $900$7609
Spain$740 to $1,050$91021
Thailand$970 to $1,390$1,08040
Malaysia$1,260 to $1,460$1,3406
United Arab Emirates$950 to $1,910$1,67010
United Kingdom (for comparison)$2,450 to $3,350$3,3507

The seven UK clinics listed on MyMediTravel give a useful reference point: the middle Turkish price is roughly a tenth of theirs, and the Central European and Latin American prices roughly a fifth.

All-on-4 prices by country

All-on-4 fixes a full arch of teeth on four implants. Prices are per arch.

CountryTypical starting price per archClinics listing a price
Turkey$1,400 to $4,80017
Poland$3,700 to $8,7007
Brazil$3,500 to $7,0006
Costa Rica$5,200 to $7,45010
Hungary$5,300 to $8,0008
Spain$5,350 to $8,30010
Mexico$6,500 to $9,20025
Thailand$8,350 to $9,75014

All-on-4 prices vary much more than single implants, because clinics differ in implant brand, the type of final bridge (acrylic or zirconia) and whether temporary teeth are included.

The cheapest price is not the whole cost

Implant treatment normally needs two trips: one to place the implants, and a second three to six months later to fit the permanent teeth once the bone has healed around them. So the real comparison is the treatment price plus two sets of flights and accommodation. That is why:

  • patients in the US and Canada often choose Mexico or Costa Rica, where the second trip is short or even a drive;
  • patients in the UK and Europe often choose Turkey, Hungary or Poland, a few hours' flight away;
  • patients in Australia and Asia often choose Thailand, Vietnam or Malaysia.

Compare quotes like for like

A listed implant price often covers the implant post only. A finished tooth also needs an abutment and a crown, and some patients need a bone graft or sinus lift first. Ask every clinic for:

  • the total price for each finished tooth: implant, abutment and crown
  • the implant brand, since premium brands cost more
  • what the crown is made of
  • the cost of X-rays, a CT scan and any bone grafting
  • temporary teeth, and how many visits are needed
  • the guarantee, and who pays if an implant fails after you are home

Frequently asked questions

Which country is cheapest for dental implants?

On the prices clinics list on MyMediTravel, Turkey is clearly the cheapest of the main destinations, with a typical implant price of $300 to $520. Hungary, Poland, Mexico and Costa Rica follow at roughly $600 to $800.

Are cheaper implants lower quality?

Not necessarily. Much of the price difference comes from lower staff and running costs. But the implant brand, the dentist's experience and what is included all vary, so compare full written quotes rather than the headline price.

How many trips will I need?

Usually two: one to place the implants and a second, three to six months later, for the permanent teeth. Some All-on-4 treatments fit fixed temporary teeth on the first trip, but a second visit is still normal.

Is it worth going abroad for one implant?

For a single implant the saving can be eaten up by two return trips. Treatment abroad makes most financial sense for several implants or a full arch.
