I don't know where to start or how to say thank you to Dr. Schwartz and his amazing staff for all their support and care on my past visit. For as long as I can remember, I've had one big insecurity that I decided I would just learn to deal with because of my fear to go under the knife. I'd figured I would just avoid photos or just wear a filter in them...however, I met with Dr. Schwartz and he assured me he could fix my issue without surgery. I had a thorough consultation with him and next thing you know I was signed up for my appointment to have injectables for the first time in my 33 years. I always said when I felt ready to have my "pick me up" I was going to knock on a doctors door whose work and credentials were in line. Dr. Schwartz not only took care of all my issues but he delivered me my dream nose...I honestly can not stop looking at myself in the mirror. It's honestly so perfectly done and I just can't put into words what a confidence boost this has done for me...especially in my line of work. I thank you Dr. Schwartz...for your skill and sweet nature during my time spent with you. To your amazing staff...thank you for all your kind words...it really meant a lot to me! I found a place where I will be going to have all my beauty needs met from here on out:) I want to encourage anyone curious about anything that has been burdensome to you...to have a consult with Dr. Schwartz...I'm so glad I did.
I was referred to Dr. Jejurikar by Dr. Gardner and I’m SO HAPPY that I finally went to see him. He’s the best (FIRST) experience I had with plastic surgery and I’d recommend him to anyone who’s contemplating having a procedure done. He and his entire office staff are friendly, patient and so very helpful.
Best experience ever! Dr. Kevin and his team made this journey very smooth for me. I love my results and how fast I’m healing. I would absolutely recommend him !!!
Where do I begin. Calvary is in a class of it’s own. My husband spent 11 1/2 months on 4 south in the last stages of Alzheimers. Starting with his doctor, Dr. Carrington, to his nurses, and techs, the care was phenomenal. They always treated him with respect.Everyone, starting at the security desk, to the food staff, to maintenance, EVERYONE treated us with love, caring, and professionalism. They took care of Domenic and also watched out for me.Twelve hours before my husband passed, and they knew it was very close, they bathed him from head to toe, including cleaning his teeth. Now, they didn’t have to do that, but they wanted him to leave this world with dignity.Calvary is the best!!

Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgery that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders. Medically trained doctors who care for patients who have eye and vision conditions are called ophthalmologists and are the only practitioners diagnosed and trained to treat all eye and vision problems. Their practice is very diverse, dealing with a wide range of issues and clinical conditions. Some of the most common conditions that they treat and manage include:
An ophthalmologist can offer a wide range of medical services, including surgical eye procedures. Some of the most common procedures that ophthalmologists perform are as follows:
Your length of stay depends on the type of treatment you undergo. In general, you may need to stay in United States for at least a week or to let your eyes recover and to attend follow-up checkups, where your ophthalmologist checks your condition and make sure that your eyes are healing properly. If everything is fine, they will allow you to leave for home. However, for some surgery, such as retinal detachment surgery, you should avoid flying until your eyes have fully healed. Therefore, it is best that you wait 3 to 4 weeks, sometimes even longer, before you travel home.
Recovery time depends on the type of surgery you underwent, your age, and overall health. It is generally recommended to rest your eyes for a few days. With LASIK, you may be able to return to work after a day. After a corneal transplant, you should wait for 2 to 3 weeks until you go back to work.
Your ophthalmologist will give you instructions to care for your eye after the procedure. It is crucial that you follow all of them to have a quick recovery and obtain optimum results. To keep the result or to prevent complications, you will need to make some lifestyle changes, such as avoid smoking and staying active. You also need to attend regular checkups, typically once a year, with your local eye doctor or your ophthalmologist in United States.
Thanks to the continuous advancement of ophthalmology, eye treatments, and surgeries are now highly successful and safe. For instance, the latest research of LASIK showed that it has a 99% success rate in achieving 20/40 vision or better, whereas the success rate of corneal transplant is as high as 90%. However, it is important to be aware of the risks and side effects of eye treatments and surgeries, such as dry eyes, temporary visual problems, overcorrections, under correction, astigmatism, regression, and, very rarely, vision loss.
For some eye problems, you may be able to go to an optometrist as an alternative. However, if your conditions need to be treated through surgery, your optometrist will refer you to an ophthalmologist.
