I have no side effects and I am very satisfied with the result. Absolutely recommendable!
Roc S., 16 July 2023
I had my eyes lasered at the EyeLaser Clinic a month ago. Abstract: Very good!I was looking for a new ophthalmologist to test my eyes again (new glasses prescription) because I thought I would make an appointment with lasers (questions etc). Also got an appointment quickly and was a great conversation. The clinic is very personable. Could ask everything and was well explained.I decided to do it after a short time. Before the actual operation, there was a detailed examination of the eyes and the next day we started. The operation is really fast, the machine maybe had about 5 minutes per eye. In any case, it was really short! I had no pain! I found cutting the flap to be an uncomfortably sharp pressure around the eyeball. I only noticed the actual lasering through the light and the noise. After that everything went as predicted:At first it was uncomfortable, a kind of pressure. After 6H this passed again. Strong sensitivity to light lasted for 3 days. From day 1 onwards, the eyesight improved extremely well! I had a little trouble with dry eyes, bought the pharmacy from me once empty (only had 3 bottles)Had to go to Eye unscheduled because one eye felt strange / blurred (was just a little too dry as it turned out). I contacted the phone and it was immediately taken care of. Could then pass by immediately. The trickle made it much better during the day.Can only recommend it, it is an incredibly good feeling to see properly again! Don't use lenses or look for glasses! 1A work from t

I have recently had laser eye surgery at this clinic. I can very highly recommend this clinic. I had spent years looking into laser eye surgery and visited other clinics. However, this clinic by far stood out. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable at every step along the way. The clinic was is in an easy to access location and everything was so well organised. They even made an effort to speak English to me and made sure I understood everything they were explaining. I wish someone had recommended this clinic to me years ago. So glad I chose this clinic for my surgery.

The Bois-Cerf clinic is a medical structure on a human scale. The restaurant service is excellent, the food is delicious, the restaurant service as well as the nurses, the nursing staff, the cleaning team and the guards are generally smiling, friendly, relaxed, efficient and charming.Oncology doctors are competent, attentive and attentive to patients. The clinic is well equipped for therapies, the rooms are a bit narrow. Nice view from the rooms.Downstairs to eat the terrace is a nice and quiet place to eat outside with visitors. Besides, the restaurant is open to everyone and it's worth a try.A hospital ideally located between Lausanne train station and the lake at Ouchy. Many restaurants and parks nearby.

What you need to know about Vitrectomy in Switzerland
Vitrectomy is a medical procedure / surgery that requires coordination between specialist surgeons, anaesthetists and various other specialist medical professionals. This type of Ophthalmology procedure / treatment can be considered reasonably expensive, especially given the skill set, experience, training and equipment used by the specialists involved. For Vitrectomy, medical records, reports or any supporting documents may be required for the specialist to assess prior to the treatment.

As with any major surgery, recovery can vary according to the individual. Your immediate recovery can be affected by various factors like the sedation (anesthetic) type and how long you're sedated for, but you should expect to spend some time recovering in the ward before being discharged. Then you should expect to rest for a few more days before you begin to commence light activity again - remember, Vitrectomy is a major surgery and your body needs time to recover. As for aftercare, it's crucial that you follow the surgeon's advice and adhere to the prescribed medication plan. You'll also be advised about diet, how to care for and treat the wounds and how to recognize possible signs of infection.

It's likely you'll be advised by the medical team to stay in Switzerland for up to two weeks after your surgery, this will allow for enough time for your wounds to heal and have stitches removed, if required. The surgeon will expect to see you for at least one or two post-op consultations before giving the all clear to travel home again. The success rate for Vitrectomy in Switzerland is now extremely high given the recent advances in medical technology and surgeon experience. However, with any surgery, there is always the possibility of complications, such as infection, bleeding, numbness, swelling and scar tissue. But if you rest post-op and follow the surgeon's recovery advice, you can expect to reduce these odds close to zero.
