Asia Physio is an exciting new concept, a physiotherapy clinic run by athletes, for athletes and the general population. We have been operating physiotherapy clinics for expatriates and athletes in Japan and Singapore for many years, and we are now bringing that collective expertise to Malaysia, opening inside the revolutionary 2Escape bicycle centre in PJ and Taman Danau Desa, KL.
Our goal is not to just simply treat the site of your pain, but to ensure that during the course of your treatments any underlying problems are addressed, ensuring that you return to your activities or daily life safely and with confidence that your pain won’t return.
The founding Physiotherapists, Bevan and Vanessa Colless, are some of Asia’s fastest amateur triathletes, with dozens of Ironman finishes, multiple age group wins and World Championship qualifications, so we understand endurance sports and the best way to prevent and treat endurance sports injuries.
The lead Physiotherapist of our new Kuala Lumpur clinic, Glenn Fayers, is a keen football player, cyclist and runner. He has been working throughout Asia for nine years, building a strong reputation as one of the leading physiotherapists in the region. As well as the treatment of sports injuries, Glenn has a special interest in, spinal pain and chronic pain syndromes, managing them with manual and exercise therapy.
Given this experience we specialise in:
Endurance Sports Injuries, especially cycling and running.
Knees, particularly acute traumatic knee injury management, including ACL and MCL ruptures
Post-operative orthopaedics
Spine, including lower back, neck and headaches
Snow-sports injuries
Women’s health
Running biomechanical assessments
Bike Fitting
We provide treatment for a wide range of conditions including non-specific sports injuries, post surgical rehabilitation, office ergonomic consultations, lower back and neck pain, women’s health and paediatric physiotherapy. We also offer in-depth running biomechanics assessments and bike fitting services to improve comfort and performance, we can even perform a pre-purchase bike fit to ensure you buy the right bike for your body.
Using our centralised booking system and the use of digital clinical notes, our patients can have seamless care irrespective of whether they are in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tokyo, or as far afield as Japan’s world renowned snow resorts like Niseko, Nozawa, Myoko, Rusutsu or Hakuba. We also offer an online exercise prescription software which allows you to access your exercise program any where across the globe.
We ensure your therapist will only be seeing you during the consultation, so you can form a strong relationship and meet your goals faster. Please visit our website for further information regarding how we can help you or feel free to contact us to discuss with a Physiotherapist directly.
