Went to Your Physio for a bruised Achilles tendon and had pain when walking. Gan was the physio tending to my injury. Within two sessions, the pain had subsided. Helpful, friendly and professional.

I like this place to do my physiotherapy. The physiotherapist Logeswari very good and experience. My shoulder no more pain after just a few sessions of physio👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Most recommended place👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I had a muscle pull in the right glutes ( butt) and initial muscle relaxant and painkillers only helped a bit. After 2 weeks, I could feel hardness in the affected area and muscle cramping had not reduced. I then sought the help of Jeffry. He applied heat, ultra sound treatment and electrotherapy. They did such a good job, I only needed one treatment. The hardness started to melt away within couple of hours. This is my first time visiting a physiotherapist and next time I will visit Platinum Physiotherapy first instead of relying on meds. Jeffry did an excellent job.
I had a terrible sprain on my left ankle from futsal, doctor recommended physio but i was reluctant to go. As this is not my first sprain, normally sprain will heal within 2 weeks. Sadly after 2 weeks of healing, there were no significant progress as this was really a bad sprain. I decided to give it a go. Ms Tan was my physician, she open my eye into another world of sports rehab. As my normal practice are treatment from Chinese Physician. Physio is much more than that, other that healing there is so much knowledge on muscle strengthening, stretching, warming up & posture during exercise. I would definitely recommend Ms Tan.
I am really happy and thankful to "Your physio - Kepong" for giving me opportunity to complete my internship here and it has been a great and valuable experience to me. All the therapist here are extremely helpful and constantly guide me through doubts I encountered. Besides, from their years of experience in this field, they also willing to share the knowledges and help me in confirming diagnosis sometimes. I would say the therapists here are very passionate and dedication in the field towards patient, they always prioritize the patient's needs and work towards the ultimate goals together. At this centre, I also get the chance to perform some hands on skills to treat patient which helped me to learn and grow the skills. After this internship, it has instill much confidence in me than before in handling patient. I like the environment here so much, with all those abstract and meaning arts hanging along the walls and music played are rhythmically soft which can help patient to easily feel relaxing and comfortably from pain. Besides, the centre here is so clean and you can even smell the freshness in the air from the plants planted. Fret not to visit, during this epidemic period, the place is strictly following SOP and constantly sanitize before and after the treatment. The centre here also perfectly equipped with tools and machine for patients, they do provide special equipment like shock wave therapy and dry needling technique that not all physio centres offer. Once again, thank you to "Your physio Kepong" and the therapist team for this 4 weeks - Mr Ben, Miss Fei, Miss Jing Yi, Miss Xin Yi and Mr Yong 😁 From Edwin Cheong, MAHSA university (3/8 - 28/8/20).

A chiropractic adjustment, also known as spinal manipulation, is a procedure that is performed to improve spinal motion and enhance the body’s physical function by bringing the bones of a joint back to their normal, natural position. The procedure is performed by trained specialists (chiropractors) who use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden directional thrust into a spinal joint. Besides chiropractors, physical therapists and osteopathic physicians may be trained and licensed to perform chiropractic adjustment as well.
Some of the most common conditions for chiropractic adjustment are low back pain, neck pain, and headache.
During a chiropractic adjustment, you will lie down on a specifically designed chiropractic table so the chiropractor can administer treatment. Your position on the table can vary depending on your problem or diagnosis. Most often, the chiropractor will ask you to lie face down. The chiropractor will use their hands to apply a controlled, directional force to a joint. This movement is designed to push the joint beyond its usual range of motion. You may hear cracking or popping sounds as your joints are moved by the chiropractor during a treatment session.
You can go back to your hotel immediately after your treatment session. In some cases, you may even be allowed to leave for home the next day. However, a chiropractic adjustment may require a series of visits, usually around 6 to 10 visits until you attain maximum improvement. You can travel to Malaysia multiple times for each visit, or you can stay in the area until you complete all treatment sessions.
The recovery time varies for one person to another. In general, it is recommended that you rest for at least a day or two after each session of chiropractic adjustment, especially if you experience minor side effects, such as fatigue, headache, or pain in the parts of the body that were treated. You may also need to avoid strenuous activity until your condition is fully healed. Your chiropractor will give you a detailed recovery timeline.
Your chiropractor will give you specific aftercare instructions which may include:
Drink plenty of water. Keep drinking more than the normal amount for several days to keep your body properly functioning and healthy.
Keep moving. Avoid sitting for long periods of time and try going for a long walk or take a bike ride. If you need to go back to work, it is best that you utilize a standing desk.
Move carefully. While you need to stay active, you should not overdo it.
Do the exercises that your chiropractor gives you.
According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), chiropractic adjustment has been proven to provide relief for mild and moderate low back pain. Overall, the procedure is considered safe. Minor and temporary side effects (headache, sore joints, dizziness, fatigue) occur in 23% to 83% adult patients. Serious risks that can be debilitating are very rare, ranging from 1 per 2 million adjustments and 13 per 10,000 patients. These serious risks include:
Spinal cord injury
Spinal disk injury
Cauda equina syndrome.
Massage therapy, exercise, and physical therapy offer similar results to chiropractic adjustment. Other alternatives to chiropractic adjustment include painkillers, spinal fusion surgery, or nerve treatment. Make sure to consult your doctor for the best treatment for your specific case.
Before chiropractic adjustment, you may experience low back pain, headaches, or other spine-related conditions, such as neck pain. After the procedure, your condition will improve, the pain should disappear, and you will feel reenergized. Generally, a successful chiropractic adjustment will improve your quality of life.
