Thu Cuc International General Hospital

Wndy, 11 August 2020

I've been to several hospitals in Hanoi over the years, but visited Thu Cuc Hospital for the first time this month. You're given a translator as soon as you arrive and they help every step of the way, so it's really easy to communicate with the staff as well as understanding the recommendations and treatments prescribed. The hospital seems to be run quite efficiently, and everything was "western standard" clean. I saw both a Cuban doctor and a Vietnamese doctor; both did the appropriate exams and tests, and prescribed the recommended treatments (I'm a nurse and I actually do check this stuff before I blindly follow what I'm told by medical staff - something I've especially learned to do here in Vietnam). It seemed to be quite well-equipped, too. So, I'm impressed! Prices are less than in many of the private hospitals and I felt that I was treated very well. I'd definitely return to this hospital when the need for medical care arises again.

Everyone that works here is amazing. Their work is impeccable and their service is first class. You will walk out this dental clinic with a huge smile on your face, not because they're great at what they do, but because they'll make you feel great for who you are. The only thing better than their fair and reasonable prices is their outstanding customer service. I will recommend this business to every single person I know.Thank you so much... What you need to know about Dental Checkup in Vietnam

Dental Checkup

Regular dental checkups are an essential part of preventative health care as it allows your dentist to see if you have any dental problems and helps keep your mouth healthy. If you attend regular dental checkups, any problem with your teeth and gums can be treated early. Your dentist will determine the intervals of your dental checkups based on how good your oral health is, which can vary from every three months to one year.

What does a Dental Checkup Procedure Involve?

During a dental checkup, your dentist will evaluate your oral hygiene and overall health. Your dentist will examine the risk of root decay, tooth decay, gum, or bone disease, as well as evaluating your need for tooth restoration or replacement. If necessary, dental X-rays may be involved in the examination process. Then, stains or deposits, such as plaque and tartar, on your teeth will be cleaned.  The checkup can be performed without anesthetic.
