It is a well known hospital. Underground food court restaurants are also delicious. It's always a busy place to go.
Ildiko H., 21 February 2022
There's an international services department with medical professionals and interpreters (English, Arabic, Russian, Chinese). Besides this, everyone is polite and speaks at least some English. Everything is modern, and the appointment desk and the pharmacy are straightforward. There are all kinds of departments possible, I've never had to wait more than 5 mins. And there's a shuttle bus from Irwon station.

Worst hospital in Seoul, don't be fooled by it's fancy buildings and status of it's name. My husband's experience as US citizen..... He and other patients were treated like herds of cows. We made the appointment for a full physical checkup a month prior to the the date of the actual physical. All the Dr's were very unprofessional, snooty, and impersonal. I learned in Seoul it's ideal to go to one of the the smaller hospitals to get treated like a human being. Samsung hospital is all about business and getting patients in and out soon as possible. Samsung refrigerators, televisions is a yes... But definitely not their hospitals and Doctors.

This place discriminates against native Koreans. My boyfriend called and asked to speak to them in Korean. Then, he asked to make an appointment for rehabilitation services. They told him they weren’t taking any new Customers. I called right after him since it seemed suspicious, and I had no trouble scheduling an appointment for the same service.

The staff are really polite and professional. Helped me with some of my back pain

I started working with the Naturopath at Create Wellness, Dr. Sunjae Lee, after being diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases. I tried working with specialists in the field and they simply told me to take a pill and don’t worry about the rest. That there was nothing more to do. I was frustrated with this answer. I found Create Wellness and decided to try scheduling an appointment just to see what they could help me with. Dr. Sunjae truly listened to all of my symptoms and concerns at every appointment. He worked with me to find a way to not only treat the symptoms, but to find the root cause of the disease, to heal my body. He used various methods that my other doctors never even mentioned, and was always available for any questions via email. I went from being highly symptomatic and feeling lost with how to deal with life after diagnosis, to feeling empowered and better than I had in years, all thanks to him. So so grateful for the path he led me to. Highly recommend scheduling an appointment with him!

I am an American living in Seoul. I had shoulder surgery and follow up physical therapy at Nanoori from Feb - Jun 2015. The medical care is fast and efficient. At first visit I had evaluation, x-ray, MRI, care plan and scheduled future surgery within 3 hours of arriving. Surgery was successful. Hospital stay was enjoyable. Follow up visits always had very little waiting. Staff and physicians are always friendly and helpful. I will use this hospital again if the need arises.

Honestly, only the teacher is kind~~ (The facility is also very good, so some nurses really do not come back again~~ The way they work according to their mood without trying to see them as patientsIf it weren't for surgery, it would have spurred and went somewhere else. Of courseNot all of that. I was stressed for a week.

What you need to know about Shoulder Ligament Repair in South Korea
Shoulder Ligament Repair is a medical procedure / surgery that requires coordination between specialist surgeons, anaesthetists and various other specialist medical professionals. This type of Orthopedics procedure / treatment can be considered reasonably expensive, especially given the skill set, experience, training and equipment used by the specialists involved. For Shoulder Ligament Repair, medical records, reports or any supporting documents may be required for the specialist to assess prior to the treatment.

As with any major surgery, recovery can vary according to the individual. Your immediate recovery can be affected by various factors like the sedation (anesthetic) type and how long you're sedated for, but you should expect to spend some time recovering in the ward before being discharged. Then you should expect to rest for a few more days before you begin to commence light activity again - remember, Shoulder Ligament Repair is a major surgery and your body needs time to recover. As for aftercare, it's crucial that you follow the surgeon's advice and adhere to the prescribed medication plan. You'll also be advised about diet, how to care for and treat the wounds and how to recognize possible signs of infection.

It's likely you'll be advised by the medical team to stay in South Korea for up to two weeks after your surgery, this will allow for enough time for your wounds to heal and have stitches removed, if required. The surgeon will expect to see you for at least one or two post-op consultations before giving the all clear to travel home again. The success rate for Shoulder Ligament Repair in South Korea is now extremely high given the recent advances in medical technology and surgeon experience. However, with any surgery, there is always the possibility of complications, such as infection, bleeding, numbness, swelling and scar tissue. But if you rest post-op and follow the surgeon's recovery advice, you can expect to reduce these odds close to zero.
