My Son was admitted with a very rare autoimmune illness in April this year. The care he was given was superb Prof Dheda, Prof Louw and their team of specialists covered every possibility , diagnosed efficiently and treated effectively. There was time taken to explain everything. The Hospital Matron made allowances for me to spend as much as possible time with my son and also allowed for frequent visits from close family. Mr Daniel Mathew the Hospital General manager is very approachable and interested . The staff was friendly and helpful. Basically every one from reception through admin to ICU was friendly and helpful. I Highly recommend this hospital
Parking is a huge problem. On a positive note it is a great hospital with great specialists and doctor's hence why it is so busy. Well worth driving around a bit looking for parking knowing your loved one's are in good hands. My mind at ease. My husband is well looked after. Thank you Linksfield staff :)
Overall I had a good experience.

Dermabrasion is considered a non-invasive cosmetic procedure and doesn't require surgery, however, specialist staff are often required to help undertake such procedures / treatments. This type of Dermatology procedure / treatment can be considered reasonably expensive, especially given the skill set, experience, training and equipment used by the specialists involved. For Dermabrasion, photos are required for the specialist to review prior to treatment.
Due to the non-invasive nature of Dermabrasion, the worst you can expect is a slight feeling of discomfort or irritation, but this will completely pass within a matter of hours. As for aftercare, you should just rest as much as possible and avoid strenuous exercise for a day or two.
You should plan to stay in South Africa for at least a day or two after your treatment, given that you won't have the need for follow up appointments. Dermabrasion is famed for it's high success rate and the effectiveness of the treatment, but you should consider the possibility of complications, however minor these may be - for example, bruising, swelling, soreness and discomfort. If you experience any of these issues for more than a day or two, you can revisit the specialist who may prescribe some mild pain killers or other medications.
