Unfortunately not to be recommended! I visit the practice once a month, every month since 2015, and I was very satisfied with the cosmetics. Unfortunately, five (!) Incompetent ladies have been sitting at the reception since March, canceling appointments without informing the patient. Once I had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment and the ladies at the front desk reacted very unfriendly to my questions. My time is too precious to be scolded by these ladies and rushed through the city for a canceled appointment.It would have been better to invest in another cosmetics department instead of five women at the reception.

I received excellent and absolutely competent advice and was more than satisfied with the result of my rhinoplasty. The follow-up care also went very well and without complications. The lady from Austria especially encouraged me and was just as nice as the rest of the team.
Doctors didn't even listen to me and just tried to sell me expensive creams and lotions. I made an appointment two weeks ago because I was struggling badly with my skin and moved to Berlin. It is difficult to get an appointment with a dermatologist in Berlin, but then I prefer to go to another private practice.The girls at the reception were also incompetent, unfriendly and talked like high school students who had just made it through the 9th grade. Sorry for this subjective opinion, but this practice is the last.
The treatment is very good, no question about it. As a health insurance patient, you have to be aware that you have to pay 390 euros to remove 2 small genital warts

I visited this clinic because I wanted to continue doing laser hair removal which I started in another country. They told me that regarless of previos successful treatment I first need a consultation (which is fine) but failed to mention that consultation costs 80 eur for 5 min of doctor's time who basically just repeated what I already knew from my lrevious experience, and DID NOT do a patch test which is normally required. To make the entire experience worse, I never got an offer for laser treatment of almost entire body which they promised to send me via email. Terrible service and hidden costs! Do not go there.
With Prof ...Check-up with my two children and for me. Birthmarks etc. Close observation of growth etc. Feel professionally advised and treated. All employees were friendly at all times. Removal of birthmark in the sensitive area, treated with laser. After a week it was all over. Very satisfied! Parking in the house possible.

I have been a patient in the practice for several months.Very well organized and just nice. The doctors are very friendly, listen to you and are very competent. After two other unsuccessful dermatologists, a difficult topic could only be solved for me in this practice. I am very grateful for this and would therefore highly recommend this practice.There is also a pedicure that is as competent as it is nice. I feel in good hands there too. Ms. Schiemann is very competent, flexible and very nice. I've been a lot better since I've been there.The practice team is rounded off by the friendly and competent reception. Ms. Bühring recently helped me, as so often, to solve my problem. The reception often gets unjustified annoyance from the patient and must always remain friendly and professional so that everything works. Not easy.

From the first minute I entered this practice, I felt very comfortable. It is a very well decorated and clean practice. By car you drive into the underground car park and from there take the elevator into the practice. The nurse was also very nice and accommodating.I had an appointment to discuss a nose revision with Dr. Rupprecht. I was informed right from the beginning that it is a private practice and that the costs have to be paid by myself and that was fine with me, because I chose it that way.Doctor Rupprecht was the third doctor I visited and actually I had no hope and absolutely no confidence in the doctors. Honestly, I was really scared.Doctor Rupprecht is a very experienced but above all a very realistic and honest doctor. He is not so conceited and taken by himself. I think he knows exactly who he is and what he can do, so he does not need to push himself into the center. I felt very well with him. He took so much time for me and listened to my thoughts and my fears. He is very patient I have to say.I did not have the feeling of time pressure or "not wanting" for a minute.Doctor Rupprecht immediately recognized the problem and we did op simulations on the laptop. He asked me for details over and over again and how exactly I want my nose. He has not once imposed his own opinion on me, as some other doctors do. I called the place just after my appointment asking the right way of taking the pills and the creme how doctor told me. And the reception said that I have to write an email, and I did. And no reply. On the end of the second day, I called again and ask for the thing. And they said I can make a new appointment and pay more 50 euro for that, otherwise, I have to wait till they reply me. And I asked why and tried to explain, and the reception spoke louder than me and super quick. Because she mentioned her English is not good, and I pleased for being patience to let me finish my word. What she told me is that she is not the doctor and she can help me nothing.I don't know what's wrong with the reception. I was there for four times already, only got the receipt for the first check. They always told me that they ll send me the receipts. But till now, I got nothing. Already one and a half month.I come here because I'm super worried about my sickness and want to get better service and advise. But I m super upset about that.Fr. Doctor told me that I can choose whether I take the pills or keep using creme like before. It's really confused me. I'm not the doctor, how I can know what is better for me. - scarring and pigmentation after IPL hair removal, any contact being ignored and rejected -Almost 1 year ago, I started my first session on IPL laser hair removal for the chest and abdomen area at Dermatologikum Berlin. I consciously decided to do this in a dermatological practice and not a beauty salon.After the 3rd session with a new doctor, I suffered deep burns, followed by severe crusting all over my abdomen and chest area.I decided to show the doctor the wounds, whereupon she answered only "well, we probably did too much". Despite the severe crusts on the upper body, she performed another "in between crusting" IPL treatment.I decided to stop the treatment. Today, almost a year later, the wounds have healed, leaving scars and pigmentation (faded skin).I have tried to get an opinion on the incident and its consequences in some form via e-mail, mail and by engaging an appraiser for mistreatment. However, everything was rejected without comment, or remained unanswered.
One year after being checked I can confirm that the diagnosis was simply wrong.Suffering for what seemed to be initial stages of hair loss, I chose to be visited at the Dermatologikum hoping for a good diagnosis.I was told I (literally) was "not suffering from hairloss", but that my scalp was suffering from an inflammation, which may have caused losing some hair.After following the advised therapy for one year and half (advised period was one year), one is clear: the diagnosis and therapy where either wrong or insufficient, as I continued to loose hair. In sum: I paid 80€ and lost 1,5 years following a therapy for nothing. Thus would highly advise against it.

I came here after getting a diagnosis for a skin condition from a general practitioner that I was skeptical of. I wanted to see a specialist who spoke english so I could discuss things in more detail and get a second opinion. I was able to book an appointment the same day, on a Saturday. Reception was really pleasant and I didn't have to wait at all once I filled out my paperwork. The doctor was extremely attentive. After hearing about my symptoms he gave me a very thorough explanation and answered all of my questions. I appreciate that he didn't rush me through the process. It was a bit pricey, but not more than I would have expected for a private clinic and for the quality of service.

I had to arrange my appointment from abroad. Thanks to the helpful receptionist, all important questions were clarified in advance. Extremely beautiful practice and a very friendly team !!Professor Kämpgen gave me great advice, surgery and answered all other questions by e-mail as I had to go back abroad and had no time for a follow-up appointment. Everything heals wonderfully and I could not wish for a better doctor !!
Medicine is Germany is pathetic. Doctors need to do internship from third world economies how to treat patients based on their professions. Diseases don't wait for etiquettes and appointments whereas doctors in Germany wait for .. so getting an appointment takes three months at every clinic. This place I cud get an immediate appointment.. was on time... The doctor came five minutes late after I was sitting in his cabin.. he did share about the diagnosis... He asked a couple of minutes on where I stay... And when I wanted to ask him something he told the next patient in waiting.... The medicine he has given has rather aggravated my skin irritation. A doctor has to first patiently listen to what are the symptoms and not go to a conclusion based on assumption... Doctors are termed as Gods bcos of their life saving treatments and if they r jokers like dis I pity the country. Dressing and walking with a nose high does not earn value, it's just the output. I am trying to explain my disease that the place where I went had a big waiting room and new books neatly arranged with excellent interiors but jus the disease has not been cured and the money of 80 euro for a fungal cream available at pharma stores was not worth. If in India I believed, Germany, development and medicine miracles , I am wrong... third world economies don't exploit people on health

A shiny private clinic with modern interior design - but without much medical substance I believe. I went there to get a second opinion on the therapy of a chronic skin disease. I was more than willing to pay good money for a qualified advice. - An assistant doctor typed my medical history into the computer, and little later the professor appeared. He may have only had a few moments to look at my case on his computer screen from his room next door. When he arrived, her instantly had an opinion and advice at hand without much looking at me myself. Literally, he seemed to have made up his mind even before he actually saw me. The advice itself wasn't very quaint, and he dodged me when I had specific enquiries. - Really, not worth the money. I felt treated like just another number in this money-printing factory.
As a patient of many years, I was always happy to be treated by the doctors. However, the medical assistants are sometimes not to be outraged insolence. Today I was not able to make an appointment, because the lady at the reception was not able to act in a friendly way. I would recommend a training course while I go to another practice in the future.
Recently, a cyst on my head was removed by Prof. Trefzer. The advice before and the also made check-up was pleasant and was very professional!The removal of the cyst was completely painless - the same applies to the threads!Great practice !!!
ACHTUNG you may end up paying 80EUR for a 10min talk and no tests done. I went to the DERMATOLOGIKUM for an emergency. Hoping to have some tests as I had an allergic (possible) reaction on my face. It was promised to have some tests done. I signed agreeing with it. In the end I had only 10min talk with a quick look and heard some assumptions from the practitioner. The place look fancy but I believe service could be more professional. I asked the receptionist to rewrite my invoice stating 10min talk with doctor instead of listing 2 tests that were not done. They didn't like my questioning and discussed among them [finding obviously my questioning really wrong] until finally decided to reprint an invoice that said exactly what the service was: 10min talk and a prescription based on assumptions = no tests done.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Is not a good service, is not respectful, is not clear with the money. Average doctor with few dedication. Lack of manners and education as well.
The place looks great and you get the impression that this is a high end clinic. However, I’m not pleased at all with the final result; I had three little things that needed to be removed from my skin (legs and arm). They were quite small and in fact pretty harmless. They suggested to remove it anyway and so I went with it. Now, almost exactly a year later the scars are still big, very visible, and unfortunately it looks worse than before. I was hoping for a little “line” kind of scar, small and clean. On all three spots there is just a big hole that looks bad. I wish now I hadn’t had the surgery done as it was mostly for aesthetic reasons and it looked better before. The doctors are nice but I feel they should have done a nicer job, especially with the surgery itself but also with the healing process after. Maybe it’s a one off, but it looks botched and I’m quite sad actually.

Very nice and friendly receptionists and competent doctors. Had a lipoma that 2 doctors had been messing around with before. DERMATOLOGIKUM was my last attempt and I have no regrets. Now everything is fine and there is hardly anything left to see of others
Yes it is a private practice but that is communicated more than clearly. Super furnished practice with great ambience and service. Miss Dr. took a lot of time and gave me professional advice.

It is a large dermatological practice with a hotel-like interior. Practice is very easy to achieve with the BVG.The practitioners are all professors with many years of experience and a corresponding academic vita.Appointments can be made by phone or online.A lot of time is taken during the examination and well advised. The technical equipment is very good.Conclusion: For privately insured and self-paying patients a top contact point in terms of dermatology
The doctor put a lot of effort - the practice team at the reception is completely incompetent. Basically there is no reply to emails. Too bad.
After making an appointment, I got a call the day after and asked how I was insured, since this appointment was only for private patients. It was nowhere on the website!The preference is not ok but the call is just outrageous!

No idea what you have problems, but I was told from the beginning that the practice only self-payer or private insurance. It is also on the page in the FAQ section.The team is very friendly, professional and helpful. The money is worth it to me.
My assessment only refers to the red / orange-haired receptionist. I am a private patient and live in Switzerland. I was in Berlin for a few days and had an acute skin problem from one day to the next. I had read on the Internet that a dermatologist should be quite a few houses away, unfortunately the practice was closed due to vacation and since I was nearby and saw on the Internet that DERMATOLOGIKUM with several doctors is 2 houses away, I thought I asked personally after whether I can get an appointment. There were 3 women at the reception I said to the one that I have no appointment and have never been a patient with them before but that I have something acute and wanted to ask if I would like to make an appointment with Dr. May have fights. The one I asked seemed to be very nice but then my colleague interfered (red / orange chin-length hair) and was unfriendly and looked at me with a condescending manner and said that I couldn't come around so easily. Then I said that I was around and just wanted to ask about an appointment then she said "please let me finish, you can't just come here if you have to call beforehand". Then she asked again in a tone "How did you come up with Dr. Kämpgen"? I said from the internet. Then again in a snappy tone "You already know that we are a private practice". My best friend visited Dr. Have Rupprecht (who also works in this practice) have her nose operated (self-payer, but the operation was in another hospital). Everything went well, he was very nice and probably took a lot of time at the BG and answered all her questions. The team at the Dermatlogikum reception was very friendly after my girlfriend. Since she was a self-payer, I cannot comment on the comments regarding the disadvantage of KK patients. But I think those who come here as self-paying patients or PVK patients are very well looked after! The practice is easy to achieve.

I presented myself last year with general discomfort and greatly enlarged lymph nodes in practice. After a few tests and an extended ultrasound, I was sent home without significant results.2 weeks later I was diagnosed with stage 2B lymph node cancer.The location does not speak for the competence.
For decades I suffered from atopic dermatitis! Then Prof. Steinkraus was recommended to me. After only one week of treatment, all the symptoms disappeared and are still there. The best: a solution without cortisone :). With a lot of quality of life was returned here and I can only recommend Prof. Steinkraus!

It's quite hard to get an appointment in Berlin with a dermatologist if you want your Krankenkasse to pay for it, which is why I decided to book an appointment with them in the first place. It's quite pricy, the building looks very classy and the doctors well educated so naturally I expected a service of great quality. I was quite disappointed. This was about 1 year ago. The doctor I met with charged me 80 euros for a 5 minutes face skin examination and wrote me a prescription for an acne cream which I realised later was a) available on Amazon without a prescription b) I was allergic to it. Not completely his fault about the allergy but quite a rip off anyways. Today, I called again because I need an appointment for allergy testing. I would have called somewhere else, but everyone is fully booked and I didn't feel like waiting 2 months so I thought that I would give this place a second chance. This was a mistake. The lady who answered the phone was very arrogant (I had the distinct feeling that she was being racist because I am not German), she could not give me a price estimate for the allergy (not even an approximate one! I didn't expect to get an exact pricing, I just wanted to have a general idea of what I was getting into) and worst of all, when asked about a cosmetic service they offer (an acne treatment like you would get at the salon, not a medical treatment) she could give me no information whatsoever (no pricing and no description of the treatment even though I told
3-hour bill, but no results until now communicated, no cause of my problem noted, although I was examined 3 times under dermaskopie. I would have to ask for a medical letter myself. Not yet made, wait for ....Communication: you have to do more for the price. Doctors communication is also very bad. No real patient information. I have made this clinic a great photo album of my problem. Was I asked for my consent? Unfortunately not. That only 3 times dermaskopie, without my information and consent (payable investment in the device, right?).I had also injured my hand 3 times with an assistant (she was actually trying to get a blood sample 3 times - ridiculous). I felt like a student. But, I paid even more 50 euros laboratory costs! for such bad treatment. Well, 3 needles costs that, right?Waiting time: 1 hour more, over the agreed time.What is good: well central facility.Other: interesting superlords in the waiting room.

Also human he is sympathetic and despite the many private patients and wealthy Selbstzahlerklientel not arrogant or unfriendly. He takes his time and solves unpleasant topics that one might not like to talk about very attentively and relaxed. He only operates when it is really needed and the results are wonderful! I have been there a few times for routine checks and benign surgery. The staff was always very friendly and professional and the doctors did a very good job. I really felt being in good hands here. This clinic is high end and in a prime location so as a result quite expensive
Was there several times for treatment, unfortunately there was absolutely no improvement. All in all everything was very nice there, but I didn't find the cosmetics convincing now.
Practice facility looks great, but that's all. You do not get well advised there were consultation problems between doctor and laboratory, whether a (paid) blood test should be done or not. Doctor talk more than unsatisfactory. For wealthy private patients where money does not matter, maybe the right address; they are also treated accordingly courteous. For cash patients and self-payers definitely not recommended.
Not recommendable!Had several small fibromas (skin elevations) in the eye and cheek area and unfortunately had them removed in this practice. I shouldn't have done that because I am very unhappy with the result !!! The laser was not the right one, far too massive for these tiny blemishes, I think there are different ones. I had deep holes afterwards, which would not have been necessary because fibromas on the top layers of skin can be removed or surgically. Now, in the summer, when I tan, I have very unsightly, sometimes quite large, white spots on my face that are out of proportion to the tiny fibromas that I had before. Such deep injuries were completely unnecessary. The worst thing is, they become clearer over time (about 2 years ago) than weaker :-(Better go to another doctor and get proper advice, there are different options! Otherwise, like me, you won nothing. But maybe you have a worse problem afterwards! It was definitely the opposite of what I wished for! Was now at a doctor who uses a much better laser, had no such deep holes afterwards and afterwards also not so blatant white spots, i.e. scars. Fifteen bad reviews are here for a reason !!! And it wasn't cheap either ...
Receive an appointment immediately. At the appointment, wait five minutes in the waiting room and you can get there. Prof. Dr. Fighting very competently and knows what he's talking about. Yesterday I brought my young son in to be treated for a wart on the palm of his hand. I was very pleased with the time the whole staff, including Prof. Dr. Med. Trefzer, took to explain our options and to take care of the matter on the spot. At the end my son was very comfortable with the experience and happy. I would highly recommend Dermatologikum.

Would be treated rude and devalued as if we could not be privately insured. Needed help because of our baby, which had a strong rash, but were unfortunately not nicely dismissed.
On Saturday trying to be there, no one there.
Super friendly, top ambience, free parking in the house. Diagnosis immediately including laboratory test. With the prescribed medications my problem was tackled from several sides at the same time. 100% treatment success. So doctor must work.

At the beginning you have to sign something to cover the costs of your account. Sure, I did not really know private clinics. I've done it, a short treatment could pay you end effect. The doctor has suggested a treatment. Then I said, first ask my KK if it works. He convinced me that my KK had to take all costs from you. Many patients had done so, he said. I believed him, I'm not used to that in the medical field, so there's a hunt for maximum profit. Yes, I paid everybody, around 500 €. No way.
Appointment on the same day.The MFA at the front desk was very polite and courteous.The doctor who brought me to the examination room looked very open and interested. I felt like she had all the time in the world.The contact with the professor was short but crisp. All questions were answered with one answer.Also, I found the honesty of the professor very pleasant.So if you have problems with the skin ... go for God's sake!
