It was amazing. Extraction of a decayed tooth and wisdom tooth took about 3 min and subsequent implant for less than 10min... the whole process started from 6.56pm and ended at 7.15pm! This was really super fast and no pain.. a dentist fobia person like me is truly fascinated by the excellent professional dental surgery procedures. Dr How, thank you for providing me an effective speedy solution and making this a great experience.You are the best!!!
Visited Imperial Dental Specialist Centre for Invisalign and wisdom tooth extraction under Dr.Alice Wong and team. Before starting my Invisalign treatment, I was explained very clearly by her about every details and specifics of the plan that i am going to have. Doctor and staff there is very friendly and professional.Dr.Alice is very gentle and careful on the wisdom tooth extraction to make sure the pain is minimal. The whole process is quick and the painless. There is no pain and swelling at all after that. Was amazed by Dr.Alice’s skills. Also Christine is very caring to follow up after the procedure to make sure everything is ok.Overall, i am impressed by the service they have provided and would definitely recommend to everyone.
I’m highly impressed with the incredibly professional and skilled team at Imperial Dental in Bangsar. Dr How removed my wisdom tooth that was in a pretty bad state using a different technique of surgical extraction that meant minimal bleeding and downtime so I could go on with my life pretty immediately after my procedure, contrary to a lower wisdom tooth surgical removal I previously had at a different dental clinic that required months of healing. I’ve also had my fillings done with Dr David and can highly recommend his gentle and careful approach that felt a lot less intrusive. Nurses and staff are all also very friendly and helpful and prices reasonable. I highly recommend this dental clinic.
I have been visiting Imperial Dental Specialist Centre for few times since early this year. My first visit was for an implant consultation. Dr How is the Doctor-in-charge for my case and he is a very professional and passionate on his profession. After Dr How gave me his professional advice during my first visit, without any hesitation, I decided to follow his advice by proceeding with the implant treatment to be carried out by him as I was convinced by his advice and confident in their service.Thanks to Center’s advanced equipment and Dr How’s skills, there was no pain to me during and after the treatment.Besides, Staff are very friendly, helpful and always give support to me after the treatments. I was in different dental clinic before where the Dentist are rough and not paying attention most of the time. So I decided to switch my dental clinic over and over! Finally I found out this clinic, and i have been for many times and my experiences have been pleasant, Dr David is really detailed and explained the procedures he's about to carry out. Also their staffs are friendly and pleasant. All is good.
Definitely a yes if you are looking for a gentle and non-scary experience of dental procedures. I've been afraid of dentists ever since young until I visited Imperial Dental. Dr. How is very knowledgeable and skillfulI in regards of teeth extraction. He had remove all four of my wisdom teeth within 20 mins without any signs of pain and swelling after the procedure. Staffs are very friendly and will constantly check up on you even after the procedure. Price might be a little costly but definitely worth it. Thank you Imperial Dental!
Higher end pricing by Malaysian standards but caring dentistry of an outstanding international standards. I had two crowns fitted with no pain or discomfort whatsoever. The equipment used was all very advanced and cutting edge. I was very impressed.
Had an inner grown tooth, and got it removed by dr How, painless and tenseness. Was at first worried that my gum would swell and feel pain after an hour or two, but literally zero pain until recovery, and the swelling went away within a week.
I have had both regular dental work, in addition to significant orthodontics work, undertaken at this Specialist Dental Centre. These scopes of work were performed by Dr. Tan and Dato' Dr. How. I have to say that the pre/during & post care and level of communication, discussion of options and transparency in all aspects, including costs, were second to none, by both gentlemen. My recent visit saw 3 Implant fixtures undertaken in a single sitting, as a prelude to Crowns. It was pain free (including little to no discomfort in the immediate days following the treatment), efficient and well communicated throughout. I wouldn't go anywhere else.UPDATE 21.07.20: - all now done for four implants / crowns with very satisfying results and an impressive level of care demonstrated at all stages of this process.
Started my Invisalign treatment under Dr How few months ago. I am a good patient, fully follow all the instructions given by to Dr How and his team. Can’t wait to see my result 😃! Also I did my Whitening at here too.. but I feel sensitive hence take a short break. Anyway I’m going start over my whitening home kit tomorrow 💪. Dr How is by far the most professional and gentle dentist I ever met. I did invisalign and even removed 4 of my wisdom teeth with him. Just like Dr How promised, there's no pain, no swollen and fast healing process after the process! So amazed. Got two of my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Alice Wong few days ago. The whole process was painless and really quick and I did not suffer from any terrible after effect. My face did not even swell after extraction! Besides, Christine also follow up with my situation for a few days to make sure my wound is in good condition. Christine has been really helpful throughout the process. Overall I am highly satisfied by the service offered by the clinic!

Started my invisalign journey under Dr. How's care a few weeks ago and Im very impressed by how attentive and smooth the whole process has been so far.Had 6 teeth extraction just last night which i was very nervous about, but the entire treatment was painless and swift, and today post extraction Ive had no residual pain or issues.Sincerely appareciate Dr. How and his team's effort to make it such a comfortable experience. *also they were very kind and sweet to have remembered my birthday was the day before my extraction and gave me a delicious cake to celebrate. My daughter had two of her wisdom teeth extracted by Dr How. This procedure was short, yet painless; providing no terrible after-effects like swelling and infections that followed. His skillful techniques in removing the two wisdom teeth can be seen from his years of dedication and excellence as a respected dentist. Awesome dental clinic ever !Doctor Alice and Christine were so nice, they make me felt so comfortable whenever I'm doing my checkup and treatments, thanks for the stress ball :)I did extractions, fillings and crowns.The best thing was, it was so painless until I can't even realise when my teeth been taken out !Just a little uncomfortable during the Anesthetic injection. I'm happy that finally I'm done with all my treatments and now I can eat and smile with confident !Eventhough it's a little bit pricey but it's totally worth ! Recommended !

For a first timer at any dentist, this clinic definitely gave a positive and welcoming vibe. Dr. David took very good care and understood my anxiety and fear of dentists. I had a terrible experience in this clinic, as soon as I said hello the next I heard was : we are going to charge you extra RM80 for X-ray!!!I didn't even meet the doctor and I was asked to go for the X-ray. They assumed that I needed it. I mentioned that I had pain but I was not sure what was going on. I wanted a doctor to check it first. I just walked away, this kind of places just remind me how some doctors don't care about their patients anymore. Everything is about businesses. I don't recommend this place.
Dr David was really good and went above and beyond during a routine dental check and clean. Priced well despite located in Bangsar and service was really good. Would recommend anyone to pay visit to this place and ask for dr David for your routine check!

I had a very delightful experience with Dr. David Tan. He is a young, passionate, professional dentist. Most importantly, his honesty build up my confidence with Imperial Dental. He asked my opinion, explained carefully to me about the money I might have to spend, the remedy I will receive, and the effect of my decisions. My purpose was remove my crown and change a new one. Instead of rushing the whole procedure, David prioritized my gum-bleeding problem, and my gum had a significant improvement after a month. After that, he again advised me to wait till my crown drops naturally, otherwise the surgery would be sketchy and causing a lot of damage to the oral cavity. His professional suggestion makes a lot of sense to me. I reside in Johor, Segamat. Despite it is far away from KL, I got to spend time to travel, just for a trustable and comfortable treatment.The price is quite fair for me.Definitely recommend Dr. David.

5 implants within an hour. I wish to record my utmost sincere thanks and appreciation to Dato' Dr How Kim Chuan and his team at Imperial Dental Specialists Center, Bangsar for having had 5 implants (surgery) done on me few months ago. Dato' Dr How is a highly skilled implantologist besides being very professional. I am extremely happy the way he handled the surgery. There was no pain (just the local anaesthetic) and each implant he took 10 minutes. All in, he took less than an hour for the 5 implants. The feeling was like a normal cavity filling. I even did a sinus augmentation on 1 implant with bone graft harvested from my own by drilling without pain and swelling. With the advancement of technology it helps a lot and the procedure is simple. Mouth full with teeth helps to hold back facial wrinkles. Eventhough we cannot defy the biological clock, we surely can mitigate the process. Staff at the Center are courteous and helpful. Thanks again Dato' Dr How and team.

today, I was attended by a ruthless, rude and cocky malay lady nurse who tried to force me to take x-ray. This is the first time, that I need to x-ray before the dentist even see me and examine what's the real problem.When I asked why.She said Dr David will only agree to see you after take x-ray. Omg! Day light robbery and where is the ethic? Avoid at all cost.This is so disappointing. 10years ago, Ive had a good experience with Dr How for orthodontic treatment.

I was greeted with such delicate care by every single staff member who attentively cater to my every need and my every query.I immediately signed up for Invisalign with Dr How and Dr sucelia through their detailed but succinct analysis on my teeth situation, including the high technology of having a before and after simulation. I was also introduced to an application to check progress on Invisalign braces where I don’t necessarily need to go to the clinic every few weeks.Today, I have had my wisdom tooth removed within just under an hour on the left side and it completely painless! My bottom left wisdom tooth was very deep and sitting on nerves so I was very nervous and scared about the risks but dr how was very professional and throughout the process I was constantly reassured that everything was going well. The recovery is also just fine. Though he told me it was gonna painful for the first 4 hours, it’s completely bearable. First time trying out Imperial. Was a little skeptical with mixed reviews on this page but didn't have a choice as I wanted somewhere which had an appointment available during lunch. Did scaling and polishing which I felt the Dr attended to me did a great job, I had some tartar built up as I have permanent retainers attached to the back of my teeth but she patiently removed it. Teeth feels alot cleaner as well. Definitely on the pricier side vs other dental clinic in pj/ Subang but good and attentive service . Kudos to the front desk assistant too who was very polite, respectful and friendly. Made my next appointment in 6 months already :)

I had the most disappointing experience with Imperial Dental Specialist Centre.In the first instance, their customer service officer Alex, indicated that the TOTAL cost for a consultation (including x-ray and seeing the doctor) would be RM80. I've included a screenshot of my email below for reference. But when I completed my consultation, I was told I had to pay RM240 for the x-ray, and when I questioned why, the receptionist told me that actually they only charged me for the x-ray and not the consultation. I ended up pay more than twice the amount that was quoted to me, which was the only reason at all that I decided to book an appointment with Imperial Dental. Furthermore, the nurses and the doctor, Doctor Alice Wong, conducted themselves in a manner that I found extremely unprofessional. When asked to examine my teeth (only one of which is slightly crooked at the front), the nurse remarked "Oh, yes your teeth are quite terrible." I was extremely shocked but I did not say anything as all I wanted was to proceed with my appointment. But I found the entire exchange thoroughly unprofessional and rude. Secondly, when Doctor Alice Wong examined my teeth, she took one look and said "Ah, yes, you definitely need to fix your teeth." Again, extremely rude and unprofessional. She further went on to remark on my face and said "Your face is very short" and on other things such as "If we remove your wisdom teeth then you can have a nice v-shape jaw." I find this dental via Google. Once I arrived, the receptionist straight away bring me to the waiting space. The environment was so calm (with nice music) and spacious. I wait about 40mins as I came 30minutes earlier that my booking schedule. 15 minues due to the Dr has some surgery witb the previous patient(which the Dr did explained to me and sorry for the delay which I appreciate it).The Dr was so nice and friendly and noticed me a bit cold so she offer the blanket which I was touched with their CARE. The treatment went well. I did scaling, cleaning and polishing. The treatment went well and smooth . The Dr also explained for every treatment she used. In terms of the cost . I find it withing my budget . I even bought their electronic brush teeth( you can always say NO if you dont want that haha). Overall I find my experienve at Imperial was great !

I had dental treatment performed by Dr David Tan. The treatment included crowns and root canals. His dentistry skills are excellent. My procedures were pain free and I am very happy with the work he performed. This is the worst dentist I ever seen. We must sue her for what she did to my daughter’s teeth two years ago when my daughter was just six years old with some cavities like many kids now a days. She extracted almost all her teeth. More than 12 teeth (out of 20 in primary dentition).leaving her with 8 teeth only, other than treating those teeth.Now after two years, permanent teeth came out every where.She didn’t even put a tooth spacer to guarantee that permanent teeth will come out in its proper place(a b c dentistry) . She cared for making money only. She is totally unethical, she deserves to be banned from practicing dentistry.With my other kids, I got professional dentists to help us through cavities ethically without being such greedy horrible unethical dentist. My eldest daughter who was treated by her , is still suffering and will continue to suffer from this stupid dentist mistakes. I’m not surprised that someone died because of her stupidity. BE CARFUL AND BEVER THINK OF THIS DENTIST.. DONT HESITATE TO GO INTO LEGAL PROCESS TO HELP BAN HER FROM PRACTICING DENTISTRY.
I have extracted my wisdom tooth on last week at Imperial. It was done by Dr How. The full process was really too short & nearly painless. Even after the extraction no pain or any kinds of discomfort I had experienced. The staffs are caring too :D
The Imperial Dental Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd here was fined RM320,000 by the Sessions Court here on Friday (Dec 14) after it was found guilty on five counts of causing the death of former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's son-in-law, Datuk Syed Alman Zain Syed Alwi.Judge Harmi Thamri Mohamad @ Shaharuddin made the ruling against the centre, which was represented by a member of its board of directors, Dr Alice Wong Yen Lin, 47, as the person summoned, after finding that the defence had failed to raise reasonable doubt in the case.

Poor service, expensive, unprofessional attitude and extremely painful for a simple root canal procedure. I have had ongoing treatment at a different dentist to repair the damage done by this practice... Avoid going here... plenty of better options in the area.
Avoid this clinic:We got an appointment over phone at imperial clinic for my friend's swollen gum, when we reached there, after registration we were taken for dental X-ray before even we got to see the doctor, my friend was in severe pain so we just followed the instruction without much questioning, later doctor looked at the xray and asked my friend some basic questions along with a failed attempt to upsell motorized brush. Just after that doctor prescribed some medicine. We were charged 191 MYR including 80 MYR for unnecessary Dental X-ray.After 2 days of following the medicines 3rd day my friend had a swollen face with unbearable body ache so we consulted another doctor who confirmed the medication prescribed by imperial clinic was high dosage of steroids and asked us to stop taking those medicines immediately. Please avoid this clinic.

Make yourself a favour, never come to this clinic. Awful service, what was a simple procedure became in three fillings over the same tooth because they were unable to detect a cavity in that tooth on the first visit. 600myr for everything,don't let all the awards fool you.Update 06.08.19And in an unexpected turn of events the tooth they treated cracked in the middle. I'm not sure how much they are paying to the people giving good reviews, but please avoid at all costs.

I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for quality service. In my case, for a long period treatment, everything has been agreed at the beginning of the treatment and followed up accurately. No surprises or hidden costs in between. It may have seemed a bit pricey when I started the treatment, but now, looking back at how I was treated, how I was taken care of, how accommodating the clinic was with my request to only have appointments over the weekend or after 7 PM and especially after seeing the final result, it was all worth it. A big thanks to Dr. How for his availability and professionalism during the last 10 months.
Dont ever step into this clinic.! You will regret.Worse experience i ever have in my entire life. They are paying for fake 5 star review. Never care for their patience and only want to get your money money money. They charge overprice, keep switching different doctor for you and simply charge you. During my treatment was doing, the trainee which never seen before was yelling at her assistant and simply do a job for me.Dr how also a fake doctor which want your money only and never care for you. They never agree with any bad review and improvement to made.They only serve those rich people and will delay your appointment even you pay the same amount. Look down on people.Really horrible place.

If you would like to get a good service. Please avoid to come here.I was shocked about the good review they got. And they request to make full payment for their braces package before I start any treatment, which normally other clinic will have installment plan. If you would like to go for installment, then you have to pay them with interest. Which I think is very ridiculous. And they will force you to sign with them.
I don't even wish to give them a star. This is a very business-style clinic. I feel like the dentist is more like a business man rather than a caring dentist. Went here for orthodontics appointment and I feel extremely uncomfortable with this experience. He is just hard pushing the most expensive treatment for me even though it's not suitable for me (as I consulted many dentists, all of them are telling me that that treatment is not suitable for my case). But this dentist never tells me the cons, just keep hard pushing it. He also purposely asked his staff to come over all the way from ground floor reception to our treatment room just so he can scold his staff in front of me after I asked some questions about their treatment packages. It's just because he thinks his staff failed to give me information while I was waiting for the appointments. I mean staff training is good to improve your services but I don't think it is necessary to intentionally show it to your patient and lecture them in front of us. Thanks.

Definitely the worst dental experience of my life.Last Tue, my orthodontic retainer, which I have had on for 10 years, came off. I went on Tue morning, had them removed, and an impression made for a new set of retainer. I had the new retainer fixed on Fri morning.3 nights later, I felt the retainer started becoming loose. By Monday, I could only eat porridge as the retainer wire was clearly loose. After only 3 days! Last night, as I was eating, I nearly choked on the retainer wire as it finally came loose.This morning, I stepped in to have a new retainer put in. To their credit, this clinic did not ask for any additional payment for the retainer. But the doctor I visited today was horrid. Definitely the worst dental experience I have ever had in my life. She asked me questions in a lazy manner, clearly uninterested in my answers. Then she proceeded roughly to take off my retainer and put in a new one, her hand movements brusque and indelicate. After this, she decided to clean my teeth, claiming that my gums are in a bad state. She was so rough, that I tensed up. And then she started shaking my lips several times, screaming at me to "Relax! Relax!" even as I was bleeding from my gums and tensing up at the rough treatment. Thankfully it wasn't too long before the "Misery"-style treatment came to an end. I was hit with a RM150 bill for the pleasure of this experience, but I was past caring. I just wanted to leave, and swore to myself that I would never come to this clinic again.
