I have had multiple visits since November’19 and Haven’t had anything but positive experiences. Everyone is very kind and accommodating, even when I had a little panic attack about having 6 route canals in one day, the staff put my mind at ease and all procedures went seamlessly. Most or all the work they do is 70-80% cheaper than Canada, but the quality doesn’t suffer whatsoever. By the end, I will have had:-a cleaning-whitening-6 (or more) route canals-fillings -an extraction- a bone graft-an implant -10 crowns-4 veneersAll of which would’ve been over 60k back home for somebody without insurance (me).

Dr. Estaban is the kind of medical expert and perfectionist you want to take care of your teeth. I just got a new veneer and am MUY FELIZ! I am a California state retiree and have very good dental insurance in the states; however, I prefer the skill level and efficiency of Dr. Estaban and his staff. On the recommendation of an American dentist, resident of Playa del Carmen, l ventured with some angst to this clinic to seek consultation regarding a TMJ concern. My positive experience was so successful. The dentists are more than qualified, speak English without hesitation, are part of a larger base of specialists, equipment is state of the art and everything is as clean as “at home.”Should you need dental work while here you may want to visit this clinic.

I highly recommend Bokanova! Dr. Esteban and his team were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and understanding. I originally came to have a broken tooth fixed with a crown, and they discovered that my root canals also needed work done soon. They booked me in immediately for the extra work, and I got all the treatments done by the end of my trip! They consulted me on the best dental procedures for my situation and helped me come up with a treatment plan for the future as well. I couldn't be happier! Thank you so much!

After researching a lot of dental practices, we got in contact by email with the staff at Bokanova as my partners filling/tooth crumbled away stopping him from eating and drinking. Bokanova were really helpful in identifying what the potential problem was and solutions could be, and fitted us in for an emergency appointment.My partner is petrified of the dentist, and despite still feeling like he wanted to run for the hills, the staff here put his mind at ease and talked him through the whole process, options and pain relief. They also let us take photos of the xrays and emailed them on to our U.K. dental practice so he could receive further care once home. The place was extremely hygienic and sterile, if it was cheaper to fly, I would 100% travel to this dentist to receive treatment! For X-rays, treatment and pain relief cost (at the time of writing) $55 which is approx £43! They spoke both English and Spanish - Thank you for everything!

First of all I am a retired dentist. I needed a crown and had limited time to get it completed and cemented. Bokanova set up my appointments that allowed me to get my crown in 3 days. Our experience with Bokanova has been amazing! between my wife and I, in just a few days we had an implant, one endodontic procedure, one inlay and three dental crowns all done in a very timely manner, no further pain or discomfort after the anesthesia wore off, it all went well.The whole staff: Customer Service Managers Jessica and Claudia, Clinic Manager Silvana, Doctor Esteban, Doctor Barbara and Doctor Jorge; each one of them made us feel at home, we could not have expected a better experience. A doctor with very little experience, became a tooth talking on the phone with a colleague. He was in a hurry to find himself, he was rude and he treated the patient like flesh. I had two old bridges that failed. One bridge was removed last year but I waited for the right time to install the two implants. I had the other bridge removed last week. The bridge was attached to a back molar. They were able to do a root canal and save that tooth. Otherwise, I would had to have an extraction and another implant. The root canal was done by a specialist that only does root canals. She came to their clinic and worked 2 hours on my molar. It had very strong canals. The total cost was $450us. The next day, I had 3 implants completed in less that one hour. The only pain was the anesthesia needle. Piece of cake on the drilling and implants. Costs of the 3 implants was less than $3000us. I will have the crowns put on after 3 months. It is a husband and wife dental team. They are very, very good dentists. Advanced training at a major university in Spain! I had plans to be in Mexico again so I checked out a possible clinic. Bokanova reviews were excellent. I made an appointment over email from the States. Quick reply and was given a very reasonable estimate. Labor costs and overhead costs are very low in Mexico which means a great price compared to USA prices. However, the facilities and my dentists met or exceeded any experiences that I had as dental patient for almost 60 years! English is spoken by the dentists and receptionist. No trouble with communication. I will come back again for my annual checkups. :)
