There’s a pathcare with trained staff who does not know what color tube they need to use for lithium levels—— YELLOW.
My Son was admitted with a very rare autoimmune illness in April this year. The care he was given was superb Prof Dheda, Prof Louw and their team of specialists covered every possibility , diagnosed efficiently and treated effectively. There was time taken to explain everything. The Hospital Matron made allowances for me to spend as much as possible time with my son and also allowed for frequent visits from close family. Mr Daniel Mathew the Hospital General manager is very approachable and interested . The staff was friendly and helpful. Basically every one from reception through admin to ICU was friendly and helpful. I Highly recommend this hospital
Friendly staff. Very good service to my spouse with his stay at the hospital. Professor soon got him ready. Wash treated for double pneumonia.
Friendly staff and high calibre expertise
Went to see a gynae, got promised to get my results in 2 weeks (which is already long), never got my test results back even after I called because there was always some excuse. Yet they wasted no time in charging me and sending me bills.
I get that they’re a private business - but you’d think they’d care more about people’s lives because of the type of business they’re in. Be very careful if you decide to take a loved one to this hospital. Please.
The only reason why this isn't getting 5 stars is due to the parking. Since I've started going there seem to be more doctors and so parking has become an issue especially if you park in the narrow bays at the top. On the positive side, the hospital staff is friendly and service is great.

Was lucky to be part of the study
My physician Dr Greg Calligaro is extremely professional and yet still so attentive.He took time to respond to my emails an and spent an hour in our consultation. I had a bronchoscopy procedure last Friday and the nurses, porters ,and Doctors made me feel totally ease, and well taken care of.My only negative, is with the cleaning company, who never refilled the toilet paper in two bathrooms that I used.
Had a brain operation with incredibly professional Professor Taylor and his team. Really good experience and quick recovery as far as operations can be.
I prefer only this hospital for certain procedures, because the doctors are fantasies and very well known. The hospital itself is not standard, there is never parking, the entrance and outside are dirty, it's clean inside, but always too few staff. Patients complain that the patients in the ward did not get food and they asked for a glass of water to drink, and only hours later. The person next to me had to assist the nurse with any dispensation of medication, what the medication was wrongly distributed or all the medication was not handed out.

What a blessing that this hospital has Dr Jacques Scherman on their team of Doctors!The "TAVI" procedure that Dr Scherman and his team performed on my father 84 year old father, Mr Harry Singer, on15/03/2017, was a huge success. Beats open heart surgery hands down!Well done team, and may you give many more patients a new lease on life!
