To give ourselves the possibility to enjoy life to the fullest as long as possible we would like to prevent disease as much as possible. If we cannot prevent it, at least we would like to know in an early stage to have the best possible treatment options. Our womb- and cervix screening program is offer from the age of 25 till 65; and depending on individual needs is before or beyond that age.
Next to our smear test an ultrasound of womb and ovaries is offered.
Latest American literature suggested offering a yearly mammogram from the age of 40 till 84. Of course this will also depend on specific personal (family-) history. Fortunately is the exposure of radiation with the current digital mammograms reduced to a minimum. Osteoporosis is not only found in women after menopause but also in man of later ages.
