It takes several months for recovery from a breast reduction surgery. You cannot go to work for 1 to 2 weeks after the surgery. There might be less than the required amount of tissue and fat removal. Sometimes, more breast tissue is removed leaving your chest flat. A secondary breast reduction surgery is performed to cope with this.
