Kitcha Dental Clinic is a family-run practice in the centre of Chiang Mai, open since 2016, with eight dentists across implantology, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and general dentistry. The team on MyMediTravel is Dr Kitcha Tungthangthum and Dr Pawak Tungthangthum (implants and implant-supported restorations), Dr Pratchaya Loonta (crowns, bridges and cosmetic dentistry), Dr Attapon Saelo and Dr Warat Leelapornpisid (root canals), Dr Thanwarat Yamsuk (gum surgery and grafts), Dr Wijittra Rattanakul (extractions and wisdom teeth) and Dr Watcharaporn Tossaporn (check-ups and cleaning). The clinic holds membership of the International Team for Implantology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is registered with the Dental Council of Thailand.

It publishes a full price list in baht: a check-up from 6 US dollars, X-rays from 8, extractions, fillings, wisdom teeth and cleaning from 25, deep cleaning from 56, retainers and dentures from 83, bonding and gum surgery from 97, with veneers at 12,000 to 15,000 baht per tooth, crowns from 9,000 baht and Straumann or Dentium implants with a zirconia crown from 50,000 to 90,000 baht. Same-day implants, clear braces, Invisalign, digital smile design, jaw surgery and children's dentistry are also offered.

Staff work in Thai and English. Chiang Mai airport is about 15 minutes from the city centre.

I wish I could give Kitcha 6 stars but 5 is the limit. They are the gold standard of dental clinics—not just in Chiang Mai, but worldwide. I’ve had dental procedures performed by top-notch dentists in various western countries around the world. I know dental professionalism and talent. I recently had implant surgery at Kitcha, and other less invasive services. I was so impressed. The dentist (surgeon) and his staff are as good or better than any dental office I’ve been a patient; and the equipment is state of the art. Oh, did I say their prices are VERY reasonable. Come to think of it, maybe 10 stars would be more appropriate LOL. Seriously, Kitcha is AWESOME!
