Dentures, also known as false teeth, are removable prosthetic devices designed to replace missing teeth. Full dentures are used when all of the natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaw are missing. They consist of a flesh-colored acrylic base that fits over the gums and supports a set of artificial teeth.
