Clinic Mono

Clinic Mono is a medical-tourism agency in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir, on Turkey's Aegean coast, founded in 2016. It describes itself as a boutique agency rather than a hospital: it places patients with the surgeons and hospitals it works with in İzmir and coordinates the stay, and its website is published in English, German, Spanish, Swedish, Arabic and French.

Its programme is unusually wide for an agency. Alongside the plastic surgery most patients come for (rhinoplasty, facelift, eyelid surgery, breast lift and reduction, tummy tuck, Vaser liposuction, BBL, arm and thigh lifts, otoplasty and gynaecomastia), it arranges weight-loss surgery (gastric balloon, sleeve and bypass), hair, beard and eyebrow transplants by FUE, DHI and sapphire FUE, dental crowns, veneers and implants, and referral for neurosurgery, general surgery, orthopaedics including joint replacement, IVF and gynaecology. Listed prices, in US dollars, start at 1,911 for a hair transplant, 2,638 for otoplasty, 2,822 for rhinoplasty, 2,995 for an arm or thigh lift and 1,510 for the gastric balloon.

Coordinators work in English, German and Swedish. Airport pickup, flights, hotel, interpreter, document legalisation and insurance coordination are all part of the service. İzmir's Adnan Menderes airport is about 30 minutes from Karşıyaka. Patients should ask which surgeon and which hospital will carry out their procedure.
