The hospital is located conveniently in Al Barsha. For your regular doctor's appointment it is a good place to go. They accept majority of insurances. Pharmacy has improved but still they can do better. I would not visit their ER as have had negative experience with that department.

This is the best hospital I've ever visited. My experience with Dr Ragia obstetrics and gynecology department was great.Dr Mirvat pedetrician and Dr kamalesh were professionals.Just need to improve the waiting time at the pharmacy.

They always overbook patients and you have to wait 1-2 hours to see the doctor because the previous patient didn’t go out and yet there are another 3 are waiting
Experience at pharmacy was not pleasant, we had to wait for a long time, so me and my wife went for a coffee. By the time we came back our number had gone. We went to counter and asked we were told to go to any free counter but no one assisted. Ultimately we left with prescription to buy medicines from other pharmacy.Shows lack of commitment and professionalism. It’s loss of revenue to ur organization as well.On the other hand we found Dr Sudhanshu very knowledgeable and professional. He took time to explain us the evidence based medical practice and just not prescribing medicines for the sake of it.
They improved big time when handling check ins and timings of their appointments. I am almost moving from Zahra to here, at least for urology Dr Daniel and dermatologists Dr Anwar. Very professional classic school educated doctors who dont milk insurance but do the needful.
Low level of staff, I have never experienced such Unprofessional way of handling documentation!!! 👎Me and my son have passed Covid test and filled the form with our both contact information! My son got the message with result and me not!!! Then they provide print out results and there was no any stamp, so When we were on Abu Dhabi boarder, we were not allow to go through as the stamps were Absent! We lost appointment, which were waiting for 2 month!!! Please, consider other hospital for your health, like Iranian hospital!👍
The administration is the worst. I’ve been given my details to two different receptionist and by the time I reached to the nurse, the doctor was already left and no one informed the receptionist to tell me that.
İt was an emergency case for us, as foreign object was stuck in the eye bill while drilling the wall. İt was just close for us, thus we came here. Reception man Samir was relaxed sitting like he is in some lounge area and it's not an emergency case. I'm not talking about the number of people in the hospital, it's crazy crowded. I went to Canadian hospital once and can surely say that Canadian is much more better in service for sure!
I went for the drive thru COVID PCR test and can honestly say it was fantastic. Very well organized. Special thanks to Sonu Rumail for his help and assistance throughout.

My experience in Saudi German Hospital is positive, especially with doctor Shadi Sharifi in regards with my migraine attacks, which I was facing for longtime. She was taking care of me and I’m fine and satisfied.

Not a good experience in this hospital. I went for dermatology, and first the lady on the phone when I was looking for an appointment was very rude and sharp. Secondly, the Doctor Shaymaa Metwaly did not show professionalism as a doctor, she checked my concern and straight away "we need to remove that". No explanation of what is what I have, nor why I have it,... nothing. So I asked questions and she was not able to explain half of them, and other half was a very questionable explanation. So I left with 400 dirhams less and zero solution.

worse kind of customer service , you can't reach them on the free tolls for hours , their live chat at the website is down most of times. no matter which number you called , it's always busy , not less than 10 min waiting and then they will just hang up. who ever responsible on customer service should be fired
The service I get from my doctor and the nursing staff is world class. Booking in at the hospital needs to be improved as you can wait for more than 20 minutes just to check in
I rarely ever write a review, even less a negative one, but my experience in this Hospital was almost traumatic.Here's my quick review, unless you know and trust the doctor you are visiting in the SGH, it's not worth it.I had an appointment with Doctor M. P. And I can honestly say he was the rudest and most careless Doctor I ever visited. I went in with chronicle pain in my hip, I could barely walk, he took me in for no more than 5 min, he would barely let me finish my sentences to describe how I felt and explain a bit more about the issue's background. I barely realised it when I was out. It literally took me a minute to understand that that was it .. I even had to ask the reception if that was it ? or it it was just a break in between consultation.The personnel was no better. Apart from a decent guy in the reception, everyone else would barely look at me while I'm talking or asking questions, no please or thank you when asking for you ID or insurance cards .. I honestly think they lack basic client relations training.
No respect for patient time, i was available 5 mins before my appointment at 3:00 PM with Urology Doctor and unfortunately i saw another patient being called before me and when i went to approach the nurse 15 mins later. There was no apology and she just said nobody called me, i dont know you are waiting.Nonsense and bad experience !Lack of communication and basic human interaction skills
Spoke to the Dr. In advance and explained my child condition in which he has accepted to see my child and to book an appointment. He had also informed us that he has seen similar cases of my child and the bad news after driving long distance and coming early, the Dr. Informed us that he can't see my chit as it wasn't his specialist and simply said it was miss communication. Unprofessional and just wasting time.

Very bad experience. Called up the call center to check about test and they told just go to lab and get it done. I explicitly asked should I book or register. They informed I don't have to register.Today when I reached the lab counter the receptionist din even ask what am here for and asked just to take token and wait.. waited almost 2 hrs. When my number came, they are asking me have I registered or not, if not I have to go to main reception and do it.. come back,take token and wait again. Just left the hospital. Wasted my time and money believing that this is good hospital.What an irresponsible bunch of staff. Not going back there ever again.

Very bad experience waiting since 1 hour for insurance approval that wasn't even sent ,when I contacted insurance company they said it wasn't there when I went back to the nurse she followed with the insurance department and it was really not sent i contacted back my insurance they said it was sent 3 min ago what shame

the worst hospital ever, there is no follow up , no calling back. To receive your sick leave on you email you have to run after call center , usually they do not reply or simply just close the line .... horrible service, awful experience

I have been using this hospital for the last 5 years , I can assure anyone going here that they have the lowest customer care across all UAE hospitals. if a patient has got a complaint you should expect no one to lesson to you or address your problems, the least they worry about is an upset customer . This behavior is across all staff and doctors in this hospital. Never again.
The hospital overall it’s amazing. Good medical care from the staff. They have to work only on the appointments system. Doctor Mustafa(gastro) is very professional and respectful. Full investigations towards the smallest details. Good felling for that.

I was admitted for almost 3 weeks and I experienced efficient care and service provided by excellent physicians, nurses and as well as nurse assistant. I would like to extend my gratitude to Dr. Areej and Dr. Leili for the best health care plan. To efficient and caring nurses naming, Cristine, Richard, Lovely, Rose, Radha. Nursing assistant named Jessica who's very attentive and helpful, as well as to the cleaners who maintained the cleanliness.

I visited the outpatient clinic to diagnose a small problem in the shoulder. They rotated me on 3 doctors, asked for MRI and all kind of analysis for no specific reason and everything they have on the menu. Each doctor visit had a follow up visit and each time i paid for the visit. Today they referred me to a 4th doctor! This is a rip off! This hospital is all about draining you and your insurance company of money any way they can. You are simply a $$ for them and to hell with your health!Avoid Avoid Avoid ! They suck !

My wife Xu is being well treated by Dr. Ahmed Khattab after pregnancy. Knowing my wife used to Cesarean for the first child, Dr. Ahmed use his rich experience and professionalism making comprehensive and customized pregnancy follow-up plan including Chromosome test(genetic), healthier diet advice, nutritional and morning sickness treatment. Most importantly, his kind and patience touched us when he is trying to explain the condition detail in simple terms with. Now my wife condition is getting better and we are together looking forward to my ddaughter's coming with Dr. Ahmed.I would like to recommend Dr. Ahmed Khattab to my colleagues and friends.
Easy appointment scheduling and prompt doctor availability. Kind and highly efficient attendance at reception, fast registration. Very little wait, extreme rapidity in the doctor visits and the nurses pre-visits. Extremely clean and functional premises, great attendance and direction provided also from the security staff. Abundant parking availability. Super fast blood testing process. The only little flaw is the overcrowded pharmacy inside the hospital, with long 30-40 mins avg waiting time and with the possibility of your prescription not being in stock, so before they keep a client wait those 10 extra minutes for insurance approval on prescriptions after the long queue, I think they should first verify their stock and only afterwards ask for insurance approval. But apart from that, one of the best clinics I’ve ever been to.
Not the best in the UAE. I had to bring my son to SGH Dubai emergency although it is not within my son's insurance network. My son had to be admitted so SGH asked me for security deposit while they request for my insurance's approval that they will cover the bills. My son was discharged 14 May 2020, SGH said they got the confirmation of coverage from Nextcare while SGH billing department promised to return my deposits within 2 weeks. It's been almost 4 weeks now and no refund was made.
Qualified doctors & nursing staff, very helpful and guide through each step. The hygiene and cleanliness is amazing. Highly recommend.

if i can give a zero star i would have giving it . recently i had some blood to be done and i had to wait for 45 min in the laboratory to get my blood done . and suddenly the egyptian guy in the lab he said in a very rude way that my visit is closed we can t do anything you have to go back and see the doctor again ! i m still explaining to him that no body informed me to come and do the test and he wasnt even listening to what im saying he kept saying go see the doctor u have nothing to do here... such a poor service waiting 45min to hear this and again seeing the doctor and registration, consultation and go back to lab when no body called me to come from the first place ? before they said they will call and when no one called it s my fault ? he needs to get trained about how to deal with patients i ve been watching the way he is talking to other patients it is not professional at all . so shameless for a hospital like this to have someone like him .at all dr ali basha he is the best he was treating me well for the last years . but i won t never go back to saudi german h due to the lack of communication of non experienced lower staff .
It was a near death experience of me. But because of Dr. Khalid’s (ICU 3 in-charge) efficient and assertive health plan and all the nurses in ICU especially nurse Stephanie, am ALIVE. Nursing assistant Jessica had been so helpful and caring. Mr. Sudaka the physiotherapist who’s had been so patient for my full recovery. Am so blessed that because of their healing hands I can still continue my journey in life.

I would rate it 0 stars if I have the possibility as this place really doesn’t deserve any stars at all. Overall never on time from doctors to labs to pharmacy all about waiting, if you are coming for a quick visit count that it will take you at least two hours. The worst is my experience with the dentist Ron, he basically ruined my nerve and I completely lost sensation on my tongue. I raised a complain with the hospital and guess what !!! Nothing happened nor do they even bother to answer the emails. This is extremely unprofessional and I would never ever recommend any person to go there ! There are plenty of other options that I’m sure would be better so please people take care of yourselves and families and don’t visit that hospital.
my wife pregnancy and delivery administered by Dr Lubna Ahmed at Saudi German hospital Dubai. We never thought that giving birth normal could be possible again specialy my wife had a C-section for our first babe and 99% of doctors said my wife will have another c -section , but when we find Dr lubna with her confidence she said i can make her delivery normal and she make it. She make the experience is pain-free and enjoyable. Dr Lubna Ahmed is an amazing person and a wonderful gynecologist. She is truly dedicated to her profession, she is always available and keeps things simple. This was our second delivery, and thanks to the experience we had with Dr lubna , Thank you so much Dr Lubna , with God will our next babe will be with doctor lubna . We definitely recommend Dr lubna is the best gynecologist in UAE.
Having been to a couple hospitals recently this was one of the better ones. Admin organised the visit for me, the guys on reception did the registration for me quickly and efficiently and knew where I was going. The place was clean and I was quickly through with the appointment.
The new management is corrupt, racist, and they want to take each dirham from you or cheat your insurance (Check your insurance for any unknown cost SGH hide).COVID19 test is 370AED everywhere like Shabab Al Ahli drive-thru center, however SGH costs 600!I also asked the receptionist Ilyas why you charge differently because he charged the other person 370 but me 600! (RACIAL DISCRIMINATION ⚠)He told me there is 230 consultation. I believed their lie.After payment I told him can I see the doctor for consultation, he told me you didn't pay, this you paid is admission(After they feel safe that you paid, they can do whatever with your money, in the bill the consultation is written emergency, they know not a lot of people complain, I tried getting the paper, they refused to give it to me as this is a proof of systematic corruption)I told him fine, but I will escalate it(When Ilyas felt confronted he raised his voice, note that I am a chill person, but the last years in SGH is becoming really bad with their hunger of money)I called the number on the wall for complain, nobody answered!I brought a manager, he tried to save the day by telling me that this person saw an orthopedics the day before and they already paid the consultation (You know I don't know that person name so Ilyas can give any person name in their database and make what they call a "PROOF")Please note I tried to pay only the test, they don't want!This is sad because the healthcare system is taking a lot of money becau

I have had a COVID-19 test in SGH Dubai and I was surprised by the long waiting time for the result of the test (5 days and not getting the result yet) and lake of interest and eagerness of hospital staff to hear the complaint and find solutions. They are neglected and have no interest in hospital clients.
Had my procedure done with Dr Peter Nawar .Dr took care of everything from the moment I walked in the ER till the OR .I was too scared of the procedure but it really went very fast & I didn’t feel it . Our baby born in SGHD and it was good experience, however the echo test wasn't done and nor the test request was sent for approval to our insurance during in patient admission.Later we came to know that it costs 2000 aed and we have to pay 20% as co-payment which becomes difficult for us financially due to job uncertainty.I discussed the situation with Dr. Fatema and she understood our situation and helped us to get it done by Dr. Sameer Sajwani. Thanks to Dr. Sameer Sajwani as well for his kindness.I would like to thank Saudi German Hospital Dubai for such a gentle gesture and helping the people on humanitarian grounds.
Poor service, booked an appointment with dentist and received confirmation message then the receptionist told me I don’t have any booking with my name. Booked another day and then kept me waiting for for more than 2 hours.

i advise anyone want to check COVID-19 or make covid test to make it in another hospitals, the SGH have contract with 3rd party lab for the rt-PCR test and sometimes the result needs 1 week to released, other hospitals like Medcare within 24-36 hours you get your results
I had an operation recently at Saudi German & I would like to share my experience and appreciation to Dr َAhmed Khattab , I’m very thankful for your exceptional patience , professionalism And for your tremendous skill in performing my operation . Your hands are skilled as i feel much better , I will be recommending you to every one I know . Also I would like the thank the great anesthesiologist Dr َAhmed Wael who helped me to get ride of my fears before the operation, his smile , sens of humour and care made me feel very comfortable . Went in for a medical for a new job in Bahrain, service, although not cheap, was very efficient, the staff and Doctors were excellent as were the admin staff. Highly recommended.
Hello, I’m Juliana Aboukasem - Currently a year 12 student doing the IBDP course. I am fascinated by medicine and I’m hoping to apply to medical university’s in the future in the UK. Recently I did a 5 day observation in Saudi German hospital, and the reason why I did it and why you should also do it (if you have a passion in medicine), is because a lot of the universities require you to have some basic knowledge on what your getting yourself into through exposure to the work environment and an important thing I learned through this observation is that you need to have a wide range of skills but the most important one is probably communication and that is something that Saudi German hospital can provide you with. Furthermore any student who is like me and is currently doing the IBDP course I urge you to do attend this program as you are not only absorbing the knowledge of other highly qualified doctors but you are also receiving your CAS hours and can write meaningful and helpful reflections. If you decide to go for the observation program, make sure you ask for Dr. Sara Ahmadi she is a remarkable doctor working in the ER she talks to you about all the mandatory skills you need in order to be successful in the medical field, you witness her working in action (sometimes she’s doing up to four tasks at the same time and is still capable of talking to you) and lastly she has such a bubbly and kind personality she ensures that you understand the patients issue and asks you to res
Dr. Ashfaq Konchwalla was recommended to me by a friend who had completed a successful procedure with him previously. I was also keen to visit Dr Ashfaq as he is a specialist in sports related injuries, which was the root cause of my complaint.I was correctly diagnosed and treated in less than two weeks. He didn't waste my time with useless treatments that I know from experience won't work, he diagnosed the problem and dealt with it in short order; exactly what I wanted. I can already feel the benefits of the surgery, even while in recovery. Like my friend's prior recommendation, I would also recommend Dr. Ashfaq wholeheartedly. He is a man at the top of his profession and a gentleman for good measure.
From entering the premises up to the time that we exit, we found courteousness, helpfulness and quick process.The Doctor was absolutely wonderful in his understanding, diagnosis and solution. The admin staff were fast and helpful. An additional good thing; that we didn't carry any bunch of papers around.
Being a well reputed hospital, it was my 3rd visit to SGH. I experienced nicer service compare to other hospitals which I visited in past. I am under treatment with an orthopedic Dr. Loather. He is one of the best orthopedic doctors I ever met from last 4 years. He attended me in professional way and share his expertise about my problem. I have only one concern which I noticed from my 3 visits that Doctor does not take break and continuously work from morning to evening. Anxiety and depression of continue work can leave impact on patients’ treatment. I hope management should take it to consideration.

If you go into ER and they need specialist support like orthopedics instead of calling the specialist or doing a transfer they will discharge you from and log you as another entry so they can get more money from insurance companies. I'm no friend of insurance companies but getting my measurements taken twice in 1 hour and the waiting for nurses not as fun as hospital management thinks it is.
Waiting waiting and waiting is super normal in this hospital which is really annoying, every time we have made an appointment always delay at least 1 hour waiting, they should have better time management, the doctor is having appointments every 15 minutes as per the nurses which is NOT right, they should have given the doctor time frame at least 30 minutes for each patients treatment. The same as the pharmacy waiting and waiting which is super annoying, takes at least 45 minutes to wait.

I recently delivered my first baby in Saudi German Hospital.My overall experience at the hospital is really good. Nice, helpful staff, great service and very reasonable prices. Dr. Lina Jumaat is my gynecologist, she's so kind and one of the best gynecologists I've dealt with in Dubai.
This hospital isn’t for serious cases, it’s for very minor cases like fever and flu and you can actually ask the doctors to prescribe whatever you want. They will be happy to sell as many medicine as they can. You kinda feel the doctors there have medicine sales target. If you don’t have insurance, don’t even dare to go there because they will do all the possible tests to make money from you. Appointments are disasters, no matter what you’ll have to wait for 30- 60 min unless you know one of the nurses. Although this hospital is less than 1 km away from my house, I’ll never go there again.

The worst hospital as per my experience, and never again. not responsible for cause investigation.I had a call from hospital whcih ask me to remove the overview, so I will explain in details 1. You have to wait 40-45 minutes just to get appointment2. We saw two different pediatricians for vaccination, and both of them gave different opinion 3. If your kid has cough they will prescribe ventilin and pulmicort (no other medicine)4. When I went to Saudi german hospital because I traumed my knee, they decided to make CT scan and found hematoma on my head.
Actually we used to visit the hospital and we were happy with their ER, unfortunately today we visited them again and after 45 mins of waiting, I checked with the nurse as I found that they already got 4 people who came after me inside and kept me waiting , so he just replied that we are busy and we are treating patients by categories. So it’s obviously normal to come to ER and wait for an hour or two before even they get you inside to treat you.

In my opinion this hospital is not capable of administrating and giving care to sophisticated cases I would not go there for more than treating colds and minor flu my encounter with the admission desk and the medical team mainly orthopedic, skin and cosmetic gave me the impression that these doctors don’t want to challenge themselves with tough cases like mine I was shocked when a caregiver with experience in such a reputable establishment refuses a case from a patient who approaches them , the reasons given were Disappointing and I was tossed around and refused admission , I am very disappointed and I will make sure to expose doctors of this caliber and the institutions that host them, what a shame!And by the way I have a platinum insurance and money was not the bases of rejection it was pure competency. In a way after talking to my wife I think I should be thankful that I am not under their care.

Your first visit to SGH Dubai would probably be your last. The super complicated registration process (for no apparent reason) or the luxurious long wait for the doctor and at the pharmacy in the world’s loudest waiting hall are only some of the great perks of this wonderful establishment. “But I have an appointment!” I hear you say. Well no one cares buddy it’ll still take you 45 mins to meet the doctor. “I have health insurance can I get my meds and just leave in haste?” You continue naïvely, shut your face and sit there and wait is what you oughta do. The first thing I did after getting shocked into understanding the scale of the mistake I made walking in here was launch the Google Map app to read the stories of other poor souls that have walked this path before me. After leaving the place I felt obliged to contribute with my own story in order to provide reading material to you, you and you sitting there sometime in the future doubting yourself and your abilities to make good decision. You’re not the problem they are, you are a beautiful smart human being, you just made a mistake. It’s ok, spend some time at SGH thinking about this mistake and then leave and go get yourself a chocolate cake, because you’re worth it.
Really disappointed. I went with my 2 year old baby to the emergency room and after all I felt that they were just worried to charge many things to the insurance. They did many unnecessary test, gave many medicines and we were 3 days hospitalised just for flu. At the end we saw that all of this wasn’t normal we ask to go and before go home they wanted to charge 9 extra medicines !!! Crazy (they play with your feelings as a mother and they make you feel that your baby needs this...so what you should do? ... )In the other hand the rooms for children are not enable for them, the food is not suitable for infants, it is not even easy to request milk !!!! They just have small bottles of cold milk. Really unbelievable!!!!
I want to appreciate the professionalism of Dr Pandit in Emergency of saudi german hospital. I took my nephew who suffered a bad hand injury and was attended by him. Very courteous and showing good amount of concern....plus appropriate treatment and specific advice on how to furthur manage the injury at home. We could see there was a rush in the hospital...but in whatever time he could manage to give us he was truly effective. Overall experience of the visit was also up to the mark expected from saudi german. Thanx.

i had two failed surgeries in that hospital in my eye the worest experince ever, it was real terrify The second surgery had a surgical mistake no one informed me from the hospital untill i got two second opinions from two different hospitals who confirmed that its become serious case can badly affect tge ability of seeing that requires a third complicated surgery instead of silicon oil removal which is a simple procedure No honest diagnoses or humanity feelings towards patientsIt was a real miserable when you feel that your case went between dishonest hands who care only about money and approvalsUntill now they didn't contact me to explain the situation. My son was in lot of pain due to sports injury and I rushed him to emergency of Saudi German, while procedure at the beginning was long and painful but as we were assigned a Doctor we were relieved, and after meeting the Doctor within few minutes my son was smiling!!! i was quite happy with the way Dr Kshitij Pandit treated my son and made him comfortable. It was pleasing to meet such a doctor, god bless him!!!
Customer service is a waste of time. I book an appointment on call. When i reached at the hospital there was no one to guide us where to go..Once i reached at the reception it took almost 20 minutes.And the lady told me that my insurance is not covering the specialist!!If thats the case the customer service agent needs to ask these questions on call before booking the appointment.. I'm not satisfied with saudi german hospital and the management.
We recently had a our new born at Saudi German and our experience has been very positive. Dr Shrada was our Doctor and she was fantastic, she is very calm, honest and made us feel we were in safe pair of hands. She din't up-sell and just said how it is. Delivery department was also fantastic. Hospital facilities was good (nothing fancy). Waiting to be seen when checking in was slow and can be better. Overall, will recommend to others.
Appointments don't matter here. On average I have to wait 30-45min to finally get to the doctor. No matter the day or time.Also I find it a shame how they question patients here on google reviews to share details or else the review wouldn't be "valid".It's not up to SGH to validate reviews, your job would be to take reviews serious and compensate for bad experience or at least improve over time. I have had multiple bad experiences here: from waiting 2 hours at the pharmacy for medication, to waiting for the doctor for almost an hour, a physio therapist who gives me the same exercises three sessions in a row and just lets me do them by myself and leaves the room 80% of the time.You guys have a lot to improve and the easiest to start would be to take bad reviews serious instead of questioning them.
Dr. Ahmed Abogamal is a god for me. Have met so many reumatologists in past for my ankylosing spondylitis but was always in pain. After meeting him am living my normal life. I am active again and doing my day to day life easily without pain. He is a very nice human being apart from his proffession. I highly recommend all those patients who has pain to meet him once atleast.
Since my wife was declared pregnant we started coming to this hospital and that is since Oct 2018. In july 2019 our first child was delivered here with the great effort that was done by Dr Lubna Ahmed. My wife was in labor for 15 hours sadly at the end things got complicated and the operation had to be performed. The most surprising thing about their procedure is soon after delivery maybe in 6 hours I took my wife to the nursery where she was able to stand and walk towards my baby. The nurses were all caring and helped my wife in each and every step before and after the deilivery. Now, we are taking our son to Dr. Saba Junaid for monthly check up and vaccination. I am 100% satisfied with the care this hospital provides to the patient and the relief they provide you with the easy process and smooth process. I hope you all may find this useful. Very slow emergency Services. And not enough parking places next to emergency.My daughter had fever and it took us 50 mins to reach a doctor in the kids emergency section. There were 6 patients and only one doctor. I noticed that the doctor had to do paper work 2/3 of her time!
Dr. Majd aldeen dermatologists is the best highly recommend. Although the waiting line at the pharmacy is very long i always wait more than 40 min to take the medicine they have few pharmacies working there and a-lot of counters are closed.
very very bad experience was there 13 of dec emergency did blood test X-ray and the test they do for the nose with dr Asim Sajjad Health gets worse after 2 days I call the hospital but they tell me that I am not in the system and Dr.Asim Sajjad was of the day I was there so payed 1500 for the visit and the results which i didn't get them properly X-ray with no photos and no nasal test results at all which still i payed for and when you call you are not in the system its not professional at all.never again the worse ever
I was just admitted to the hospital for sever back pain and i can't elaborate how helpfull the staff were.Dr. Khaldoun Osman was just excellent, empathic and helpful.His Nurse Vinvie was very gd as well.The overall experience was impressive thank you SGH.

Very bad service.. Recently They had breast cancer awareness prg I.e free mammograms/ Ultrasound . I went there on oct 14th for a examination. After Doc's examination I got an appointment for Ultrasound for 23rd of Oct . But on 22nd of October I received a call from Hospital saying they are canceling all the appointments which comes under breast cancer awareness programm. If I wish I could pay and come for that same appointment . It's very sad to say that if you can't give a proper service, Why do you have to show the world that you are offering free service...
I had an operation on my torn quadricep in July 19 at this hospital. The hospital is very clean and staff very attentive. My operation was carried out by Dr Nabil who has been fantastic throughout from pre operation to post operation and beyond. Keeping in touch, always available and providing me with guidance now I am back in the UK. Great staff and great care and after service
The main issue with SGH is their procedures - check in, registrations, appointments etc are super complex and not customer focused. Despite paying huge amounts there is weeks long waiting for radiology department. Pharmacy is over crowded. My recent experience for an OPD appointment- 30 mins to register, 25 mins in second que for registration again, then waited for doc 30 mins, waited 45 mins for pharmacy!
Vexing experience unfortunately. I took my prescription and went to an outside pharmacy due to the long cue. It turned out i need an ERX number which they didnt provide. After calling them with the help of the pharmacist, they asked me to come back and take the medicine from the hospital. That sounded so exploitative. After insisting to provide me the ERX number they said that they will call me back,but they Never did. An absolute loss of time.
I went there on my colleague's recommendation but was not happy with the outcome. The doctor prescribed medicines for my child and said that if the medicines don't work in 1 month then come back again and we will show the child to ENT specialist. When I went back in 1 month because the medicines didn't work they asked me to pay to see the initial doctor and to pay again to see the ENT,on the same day. This is simply robbing the patient who has not been cured for a month!
On holiday with my husband in Dubai, I needed urgent orthopedic attention for my knee. Previously, there was a meniscus tear to my knee in my country and it had two months to heal, but there was extreme swelling before the trip. My hotel recommended this hospital . The hospital itself is large, modern, clean and very organised.We were shown how to go through the system smoothly and soon I was seen by Dr Nabil. He explained his thoughts and then had me take the absolutely necessary two tests in order to help not tire me out, which took place immediately.His diagnosis, a Baker's cyst, had been missed by my own doctor, and had caused great confusion, discomfort and anxiety. Stating here that I could not bend my knee as I had held it straight rigidly for four months , and convinced I'd need future tests and doctors' examinations - after following Dr Nabil's instructions diligently, my knee fully healed and I can now bend it fully. Cherry on the top, no further tests or visits to doctors necessary.

Customer Service is a disaster. Got a call few weeks after I already had my results asking me to come and pay an outstanding amount which they forgot to collect from me because my insurance does not cover fully ?! Then how come I got an email before the test, confirming it will be fully covered ?!Moreover no one bothers to call you back if you wish to make an appointment. Seems they only care about money, but not their customers.

Unfortunately, my wife and I had bad experience at this commercial hospital, and then decided to never visit again. Lot of tests and procedures not needed but only to take more money without caring about the side effects. They don't explain and when we ask, they get surprised and pretend to be in rush. They don't expect us to ask or argue with what they are doing. It is our health and much important that their money!Unfortunately, we trusted them and found late that we were right. Never again!
