I’ve been a patient at SmilePod for around two years now. The receptionists are always lovely, especially Diana, she’s a darling. I’ve had multiple dentists look after me for various reasons and they’ve always been great. Most recently I’ve had fillings done by Dr Stephen Nkansah and I’m pleased with the results. Dr Stephen and his assistant are very friendly and know how to put a patient at ease. I’m experiencing anxiety at the doctors and they’ve been very gentle and considerate with me when I told them. The clinic is also very clean and has all the safety regulations in place during Covid19. If you’re looking after a reliable dentist, I can only recommend this SmilePod branch.

Dr Stephen Nkansah is an amazing dentist. He was very thorough and explained each step to me (I saw him for a checkup and two fillings), he made sure I was comfortable and I appreciate him taking the time to discuss the current state of my teeth and looking at the pictures/x-rays he took together. Very informative. I thought the questionnaire he sent beforehand was also very helpful as as soon as my appointment started he already knew my concerns and details that I wouldn't think to mention otherwise.The team was very friendly (receptionist, dental nurse). Great service overall. Definitely recommend.

Horrible! Inexperienced and impatient! Had to go again the next day to a proper dentist after having been left in pain from malpractice. Avoid at all cost! They are a chain that has no connection to service or quality.

Fantastic service from all of the staff from the desk to the chair. Highly recommended. I was given two fillings by Dr Stephen Nkansah, who made sure I was comfortable and well aware of everything he was doing; including warning me that fillings can sometimes be a little painful afterwards (though in my case - it was totally fine!).

The reason for my trip was for Diamond polish clean; saw Paula and she explained step by step the procedure and was extremely gentle throughout the process allowing me to relax.The service delivered exceeded my expectations due to the punctual, friendly, clean and knowledgeable service I received at the practice which clearly focuses on the customer experience by hiring a great team of professionals and ensuring there is a great atmosphere in the practice. I have been seeing Dr Stephen Nkansah for the last few months; first getting my teeth grinding under control and most recently helping whiten them up and my smile back. He is knowledgable and generous with his advice. He takes the fear out of visiting the dentist. Recommend.
Excellent service but the process could be better
I really gave smilepod and my dentist there a chance, but unfortunately I was quite let down by their bonding service. I went in asking about a particular tooth and the dentist recommended bonding. It took 5 appointments for them to get the colour of bonding to match my teeth, which was frustrating. The bonding also stained quickly and wasn’t top quality. In the end, they gave me a refund for all my services I had with them. They also removed the bonding for me and when doing so damaged my natural tooth, making it even smaller than before. I caution those consider going for cosmetic work to really vet their dentist before going forward.
Really impressed with the service here, I booked an emergency appointment because of a chipped tooth and they sorted it out quickly and to a high standard. Would recommend.
I had the Smilepod famous High Gloss Diamond Polish teeth cleaning and polish treatment. It’s was just perfect. Angi the hygienist was very professional, she described what was happening and was very gentle. My teeth now look cleaner and feel healthier and I would recommend. Easy to find and very convenient in Poland St near Pret and the New Ivy Resturant.

I underwent Invisalign to straighten my teeth with Dr Nkansah at Smilepod. I can’t recommend Smilepod and Dr Nkansah enough. The service from start to finish has been excellent. All staff are friendly, helpful and understanding, as well as knowledgeable and able to provide sound advice. It was easy to book appointments, and availability was always good. I have been very impressed by the results of Invisalign – after hating my teeth for years I am finally happy to smile. The aligners take some getting used to, but you quickly get into a comfortable routine. Top marks all round.
Great customer service! I’ve visited Smilepod Soho for the first time today and I was delighted with the amazing treatment I got. I didn’t have to wait long, the place was very clean and all the staff was very friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends!
I had a diamond polish treatment for teeth on Soho branch last week everything turned wrong and I am still feel unhappy my gum bleeding etc etc Dentist who did it was clearly not interested about this treatment may be she had a bad day...I wasn't asked about the state of my teeth or sensitivity. I mentioned that I got a particularly sensitive tooth, but doctor wasn't interested in what I had to say and proceeded with the treatment. She prodded the gum and it caused a painful shock so when I cowered in pain and mentioned about trying not to touch that area - she reminded me to "say please" .I feel this is incredibly unprofessional and utterly patronising, esp. Since I visited this place based on recommendation. Afterwards doctor wasn't interested in delivering a friendly service and rushed through the treatment which at this point is not worth the 89£ whatsoever. I wasn't even shown the result, the rest of the treatment was done in silence, none of the steps were described to me , heaven only knows if I even had it completed.I would never return and definitely would not recomend this place to anybody
My dentist for Invisalign , whitening and bonding was Dr Stephen. His dental nurse Victoria is also lovely! Stephen is very good at what he does. I am very particular and a bit of a perfectionist and always noticed the smallest of details. He was able to deal with me well and listened to any concerns I had. It was also the 1st time I ever had an injection. He made me feel at ease and it wasn't that scary after all. I am very pleased with the end result the before and after was so different. I liked the fact everyone at Smilepod is so friendly too .

Treated me respectfully and took the time to explain all the treatments to me and even took some photos of my teeth to show me. I had my Invisalign treatment done at Smilepod’s Soho branch over the last 8 months. The treatment itself was fantastic, much quicker than I anticipated to correct the teeth I was most unhappy with. It is straightforward and painless (just the occasional tightness when you first put in new aligners). Some dedication is required in regularly brushing the aligners and your own teeth, taking care with what you eat/drink, and you will be required to visit the dentist fairly regularly so for those with non flexible working hours best to let your employee know in advance. The team at Smilepod were also amazing through the whole treatment. Dr Stephen, Victoria and Diana were always friendly, attentive and accommodating. The process is clearly explained at each stage and you are made to feel comfortable always although none of the procedures feel invasive or scary.It is absolutely worthwhile, I can now smile confidently and am comfortable having my photo taken where before I could only be photograhed from my ‘good side’. Thank you!!

I booked a Smilepod Diamond Polish and the dentist finished everything half hour early. My teeth felt cleaner but it was just an ordinary teeth cleaning after all
Great practice, friendly staff and very professional
Very good service but after sending an e-mail with my problem and talking to reception over the phone to explain them I was booked for an appointment with the dentist instead of the orthodontist and she couldn't help me with that I was asked to pay full price for the consultation and I deposit for the second one with the correct doctor.2 consultations and 2 payments after explaining my problem over the phone and by e-mail.I paid without complain because the attention was good by the Dentist and she was honest that she couldn't help with that but after I arrived home I realize that paying for 2 consultations when I did my best to explain my problem it wasn't the right think.
I've had nothing but positive experiences at SmilePod Soho, appointments are readily available and easy to book online. I've had a number of appointments & treatments with Dr Stephen Nkansah over the past few years. On each occasion I've been put at immediate ease with Dr Stephen explaining each part of the treatment in as much detail as possible...going as far as taking photos to be able to walk through the problem areas. I felt really messed around regarding a root canal. The dentist told me I might need one and to come back in 3 weeks. I went back and she said I needed to wait longer, AFTER she had injected my mouth! I said it was a waste of my time and I was already numb so to please check and after having a temnporary filling drilled for the second time she said I probably would need one. Nothing seems to work well in the surgery. It always felt like Faulty Towers with nurses running in and out trying to get the computers working and find equiptment which isn't relaxing when you are laying with your mouth open! In the end I decided I couldn't go back again and go through more unclear information, money and stress so went to the Covent Garden dental practice where they gave me my root canal there and then that day in an incredibly professional, fast, kind and reassuring manner. For a fraction of the price! Take your money elsewhere.

Dr Gino Castro is an excellent dentist. I have had a lot of restorative work conpleted and it has all been done professionally and pain free. I would highly recommend, worth every penny paid. :-).
Torture. Unable to eat hard foods for 6 months after a simple clean and I had good teeth before! He filed my teeth down painfully, so they look like I ground them myself, chipped and crazed them by applying pressure, misshaped them so there are now large gaps between them, food catches where it never did, sensitivity is a problem now. I have had repeated toothache since suggesting the tiny holes I felt him drill have remained unfilled. In every location he shoved his finger, including down my throat, having asked me about STDs (I had no reason to suspect exposure to HPV as I told him) small bumps have appeared consistent with HPV- none of which were there before this appointment and they took some time to become visible. HPV is linked to and possibly a prerequisite for mouth cancer and the private specialist I have had to see as a result recommends surgery to remove them, which carries the risk of damage to the throats and vocal chords. The enamel was apparently affected and required remedial treatment according to another dentist. 3 dentists were unable to examine my teeth throughly enough afterwards to determine the damage done because my mouth had been left too painful to allow them to do so. My teeth no longer look as they did.Update: SmilePod seem to be confused- I emailed and called repeatedly with no satisfactory response from them. If it were possible to give less than a single star, I would have done. I also contacted the Dental Complaints Service and the Ge

I had a couple of appointments at Smilepod in Soho with Dr. Stephen Nkansah in May of this year - for a general check-up and teeth whitening. I hadn't been to the dentist for a few years (and had never had whitening) so was naturally apprehensive but he and his assistants made me feel at ease throughout. Dr. Nkansah was able to fit me in at relatively short notice; in the first appointment he took a mould of my teeth and then a week later I returned to receive the actual kit used for whitening. He gave me very clear instructions on how to apply the whitening gel each day, and within 2 weeks of using it I was very happy with the results. Both appointments lasted under half an hour and the whole process was seamless overall. Would highly recommend both Smilepod and Dr. Nkansah and will definitely be going back!

Receptionist didn't answer the phone all morning and behaved as if didn't need to, once questioned about it on arrival. No text message or email sent confirming the appointment.The washroom facilities were unavailable as out of order. The basin for mouth rinse was a small hand held device that didn't do the job properly.Overall not a good experience and I will not be returning.
Dr Gino Castro is the dentist and hygienist I have had. I hate going to the dentist in general and I have tried many in London ..... some good and some ok. I go to this smile pod mainly because the sessions with him are informative, helpful and he does the job correctly (you think that would be easy to find but alas no). As hygienist he better than the ones I have had and the prices are reasonable, as dentist he pretty good too. Overall, 10/10... have been there a few times and the treatments are consistent ... so hope this helps.

I wanted to treat myself to a High Class Diamond Polish Hygiene treatment which I had done several times elsewhere. Most of the time was spent descaling my teeth which required minimal work because my dentist does this every 6 months for £20.60 as part of my check-up. The so- called Air Flow polish was greatly inferior than anything I had done before and whereas I normally get my face covered with the powder which invariably splashes everywhere. On this occasion it was so "watered down" that I could hardly taste the stuff. The employees were nice enough but this was a total waste of money. I paid £75 for the treatment. A total rip off!!!

Really nice experience, they treat you really well even if you are a new patient and you are not spending an incredible amount of money. I did the normal cleaning and hygiene, the doctor was clean, quick, precise and explaining me what she was doing. She provided me good advises on how to keep my mouth and teeth healthy. Strongly recommended.
The service is first class, and the staff are professional, friendly, and make one feel comfortable from the start. I hate going to the dentist and even hygienist appointments weren't my favourites (I guess I have a general 'fear' of dental procedures) but since changing to Smilepod, I feel far more relaxed during appointments. And I am always very happy with the result!

I love the Smilepod chain because it's easy to book (everything is online) and the service is professional. Bookings are quick but thorough. I usually come in my lunch break. You get in on time and you're out on time (usually 30 mins). The hygiene cleanings are over quickly - and somehow they never seem to hurt. Highly recommend them.

Have a perfect smile, healthy gum & teeth :) I visited Smilepod approximately 1 year ago. When I went there first I had trouble with my gum. I was a little scared at the first time, because generally I do not like to go to the dentist.I had a really good impression after the first visit. Everyone was nice, friendly and expert.They explained me all about the mouth hygiene and those important steps, what I would need to take in order to have my gum and teeth healed.I like going there and I don't have the ''I am scared from the dentist'' feeling anymore.Thank you all in the Soho Studio :) See you next time :)

Unlike other dentists Smilepod Soho took the time to find out what I wanted (it took quite a bit of time) and only then proceeded to advise on the best course of action.A treatment was proposed and accepted and it's been a pleasure all the way through.
