Dr Mussat is a wonderful surgeon. I consulted with her in her downtown office. Upon entering her office her receptionist was welcoming and courteous. During my consultation Dr Mussat sat with me and gave me a presentation with information about my procedure. I felt that she was very thorough with her explanation. I was able to see actual footage of how she performs the procedure. This was impressive and she really took her time with me. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that I fit the criteria for having this procedure as a medical necessity which turned out to be a covered benefit under my BCBS plan. I have since had my surgery and I’m so happy with the outcome. The only regret I have is that I didn’t have this sooner. I’m so grateful to Dr Mussat and this has been truly a blessing for me.

I explanted with Dr Mussat in September 2019 and I am so happy I chose her! Her entire team is wonderful! She was a wonderful surgeon, explained the procedure step by step, always answered every question and concern I had. She took great care of me in the hospital and always replied to her text messages when I had questions after procedure. I emailed her office in regards to billing questions and they answered within a few hours. This has been such a wonderful experience!!! Her office staff is so caring and wonderful and very professional! Dr Mussat is an amazing surgeon! I will always recommend only her!!! Thank you dr Mussat and to you entire team!
Just had implant removal with dr mussat. She answers all my questions when I ask them, and did an amazing job. She did a perfect unbloc which I am thrilled about since my eight implant was ruptured. I painstakingly researched Drs for YEARS and SHE was the one I picked. I could have flown anywhere and seen any Dr....but I knew she was the one. I needed an artist to correct what I had stupidly done to myself....and to protect me from my ruptured silicone implant. I am only 10 days out and I love the new...old....100% ME
ReplyDr Florence is a very professional person . I'm happy she was able to attend my son , he cut open his forth head and she was able to get us in right away she was so sweet with him, for the following appt Dr Florence saw some bumps on my son face and she remove them at the same visit.... I recommend her because she has a lot of time working as a Dr and she knows what she is doing you can’t even see some happens on his forth head and I thank her very much for what she has done. I am so pleased with the results after my surgery. Dr. Mussat is AWESOME, patient, professional and knows what she is doing. I initially went for a consultation with no intention to have surgery. But she convinced me to go for it, followed her advice post-surgery. If you are thinking of a surgery, Dr. Mussat is the one you should consider.
Dr. Mussat has been nothing short of amazing. She has excellent bedside manners, and very attentive to your needs. I searched for a few years for a surgeon that I’d feel comfortable with and finally found what I was looking for in Dr. Mussat!! She and her team made sure that this process was quick and painless from start to finish!!

What can I say but "incredible." She was highly recommended to me through another plastic surgeon and she has been so good to me. Follows up on emails, voicemails, phone calls, etc. Her staff and her do their very best to stay in communication and answer all and every question and concern that you may have. Dr Mussat is board certified and after my surgery I can see that it is well worth the time and choosing her. I have had surgeries in my past (heart, foot, etc) and unfortunately this time after the procedure I didn't do so well from the anesthesia. So I ended up staying the night at the hospital. Dr Mussat came to check on me after my procedure, later in the evening and then again in the morning. According to several Nurses, they all said she is so caring and attentive to her patients. They don't see many surgeons go out of their way the way Dr Mussat does. To me that was such a relief. That solidified that in the end this was the best choice for me. It's only been a week, and I couldn't be happier with my results. I recommend Dr Mussat to anyone looking for mommy makeovers, breast augmentation, fat transfer, etc. She's highly informed. Ps. I had fat transfer/ mastopexy.

Dr. Mussat administered follow-up care after I had surgery by her associate, and I couldn’t be more pleased and grateful. I had a terrible cyst on my forehead that was aesthetically hideous as well as very painful. I had previously visited a dermatologist who misdiagnosed and mistreated the cyst for two months. I became desperate and started to call every dermatologist in town until one suggested I call a cosmetic plastic surgeon instead. I found Dr. Mussat on the internet and she set up a consultation with me for that week. Upon arriving she looked at the cyst, realized her schedule was booked for a few weeks and treated me right then and there. I was initially nervous but she was beyond caring and her attention to detail was incredible. Following my cyst removal procedure, she gave me her personal cell number and answered all my numerous texts/questions during recovery. She was such a blessing to me and I know I will only go to her in the future if I ever have another cosmetic need or desire. Thanks again!
In 2014, I had a procedure done with implants that didn't go well. I didn't see my vision at all. I was sad. I searched for a woman doctor and I found Dr mussat. After seeing the reviews I just had to make an appointment with her. In 2015, I met Dr mussat, And after speaking with her I didn't want to see anyone else but her. I decided to remove my implants due to pain that I was having. So the day has come for me to have surgery with Dr mussat. She really made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. And OMG!! Dr. Mussat was able to bring my vision to reality that I didn't see when I had implants. I am so happy with my results. I am so happy I found Dr. Mussat. She not only knew exactly what needed to be done to reshape my body, she did it with great confidence! I have a rather hard skin condition to treat. I went online and messaged Dr. Mussat's office to make an appointment. They called me back to let me know they had an opening for 5pm on a Friday. Driving from 3 hours away, I wasn't too happy to hear that but, I was really excited to see her after reading all of her great reviews. The office email me two times for a confirmation after I responded yes to the first confirmation. Then the office called me three times to confirm the appointment even though I responded yes to all previous confirmations. At this point, I was starting to get really irritated... When I arrived at her office, she saw me, took pictures of my skin, put me on a diet, told me there was nothing she could do for me because I'm not a resident of IL and charged me a $100. I drove 3 hours to get to the office in standstill Chicago traffic. I'm sure you all can imagine the amount of rage I felt at that point when I knew I wasted time, gas, and money and still had another 3 hours to drive back home in more Chicago traffic. To the office of Dr. Mussat, was it too much trouble to ask if I was a resident of IL before scheduling an appointment? Apparently so. You knew very well why I was coming to see you. It was probably much easier to waste my time and take my money.If it is hard for them to disclose simple information like this, it makes me wonder what other important information they will forget to tell you.
Not only Dr. Mussat is a great professional and you feel in very safe hands during any consultations I had with her, but she also gives you this extra confidence in yourself. I can only recommend her.
This is a excellent doctor! If you are seeking a doctor who will listen (and will not rush you along), will make suggestions that are reasonable and is extremely caring in patient care, this is the one. I have been a patient for several years (receiving facial fillers) and will continue to return because Dr. Mussat has been very helpful in addressing my needs (she has also provided me with suggestions on taking care of some adult acne that I have struggled with for years). I would highly recommend Dr. Mussat.

I don't know where to begin! I went to see Dr. Mussat with a lis of procedures I would like to have done...She said, "Start with what bothers you the most" I decided to have liposuction of my neck, back, midsection and flanks and fat transfer to my butt. I'm am so happy to say that my results are incredible. I'm 1 month post op and still have some swelling but I have gotten numerous compliments! I must say that liposuction is not for weight loss as much as it is for reshaping the body. Having gotten rid of the double chin gives the impression that i've lost a lot of weight! I hated taking pictures because my double chin was ever so present... but now no matter which angle the camera is on I don't have that in the way! As for my body OMG! i have a round butt and it is no longer looking like a aspirin pill with just a crack in the middle...Even my teenage son said mom, "Your waist is small and you look hourglass" trust me when I say this, if your son notices something like that it is the highest compliment !! I can't wait to go back to Dr. Mussat and tackle #2 on my list!! If you are looking for a plastic surgeon go see Dr. Mussat, there are so many doctors I saw before making my decision and I'm glad that she really understood my body, maybe because she is a female doctor.
