Well this is my second time here and let me tell you if I would be able to give Dr. Castañeda and his staff 10 stars that is exactly what I would give them. He made me feel very comfortable from the beginning to end. He answered all my questions. He is very professional and his work is AMAZING!! Already referred friends and family and will continue to do so. Staff is very knowledgeable, polite and super friendly. Clinic is very modern and clean. The Recovery Center is also amazing. Awesome rooms and service. You just don’t want to leave this place. Great job Dr. Castañeda and staff!! One very happy patient.
Horrible experience, after surgery (lipo and bbl) dr. Castaneda showed up to my room only once to check up on me, he couldn’t say how much fat he was able to transfer. After surgery I didn’t really see much of a difference, but the told me to wait 6 months to see the final results. The only thing I see is bumps in my stomach, very uneven and no difference on my butt at all. After surgery I was in a room with another woman that got the same procedure, I remember hearing her saying the price she got for the surgery and it was a lot less then what they charged me and she was a bigger person. Please don’t spend your money here, look and research for a good surgeon or you can end up worse.

I recently visited Dr. Castaneda and Cosmed Clinic in Tijuana, Mexico for gynecomastia surgery and lid surgery. This doctor and clinic are top of the line. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the clinic clean and modern and the doctor top notch. The work performed beats all expectations that I had and the scarring is near invisible only 5 weeks out. Don't be afraid to go here down in Mexico; I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Quiroz is the Best! Over the course of 30 years, he has been my surgeon for multiple procedures. I had great results every time.I "trust" my life in his hands. He is honest, frank, and will tell you the way it is.All the staff, from the reception, nurses, and surgery staff are very friendly and the facilities are immaculate .I travel from Canada to Tijuana, Mexico and it is so easy and hassle free. CosMed/Vida arranges for your pick-up at the San Diego Airport and transports you right to the facility. After surgery you stay on-site at the Recovery Boutique and when you are ready to go home they transport you back to the airport. Very simple. It's actually easier than dealing with the medical system in Canada.I have seen CosMed grow from inception and it is definitely a top notch facility. I had a wonderful experience in May 2019 at Cosmed in Tijuana. The doctors, nurses and facilities are wonderful, comparable to any in the U.S. - and I could not have received better care anywhere! The work that they did was magnificent (surgeon that I followed up with at Kaiser Permanente agreed and said the work was excellent). I felt very safe and very well taken care of during the entire process in Tijuana.
I had surgery with Dr Quiroz in June 2016. I had a facelift with neck lift, breast lift, augmentation and liposuction. I was nauseous with vomiting the night of my surgery and I remained in recovery overnight with the RN’s giving me Phenergan injections which helped tremendously. The second floor is for pt’s to recuperate. It is locked. Everyone has a safe in their room for your valuables. You put your own code on so no one else has access. It is covered 24/7 by nurses who come in every day to clean and change dressings. I had 3 meals a day plus snacks which I could either eat in my room or go to the dining room. Dr Quiroz did a wonderful job and visited me every day, I was there for 9 days. The only regret I have is that the left side of my face has started to droop a little. My neck still looks fabulous. I wish I had a brow lift during that time and Dr Quiroz did suggest having one. Overall my experience was wonderful. Such dedicated experienced and talented staff. I would do it all over again. I had a procedure done in July 2019 and I am so happy with the results. Dr. Castaneda is amazing. He is so professional. My recovery was quick. Adriana and Denise were so helpful from day one. Adriana his assistant was so professional and walked me through the whole procedure and everything that was said was exactly how it went. I am so happy I did my research and found an amazing Plastic Surgeon. Sometimes going to Mexico may seem sketchy but I can assure you these Doctors know what they are doing. There office is so nice. My experience has been Wonderfull, Dr Quiroz has done several procedures on me, I am a patient of him for many years, This year I had a surgery in May and I am planning to get another one in October, the facilities are clean, modern and beautiful, he has a great staff, Denisse his coordinator does an amazing job, she is one of the people that as soon as she starts talking she makes you feel confident and safe. I just love this place.

I was recommended to Dr Quiroz by a close friend in Orange County, California who assured me that not only was Dr Quiroz the best at what he does, but that having surgery in Tijuana was safe, easily accessible, cost-effective & offered cutting-edge European products not yet offered in the US. Dr Quiroz has performed my breast augmentation surgery twice 13 years apart... my 1st surgery was silicone implants was in 2006 & the final results far exceeded my expectations to perfection. So much so, that I delayed replacing my silicone implants after 10 years anxious that now in my 40s my breasts wouldn’t come out as perfect the second time around. Then finally this year in 2019, Dr. Quiroz performed my 2nd breast augmentation surgery (capsulectomy removal & upgrade to newer silicone product). I am absolutely amazed at the results!!... My breasts are even more perfect now than before, which I did not think was even possible!! I recently had multiple procedures (face and neck lift, arm lift, and blepharloplasty) done with Dr Fuentes... I can not say enough good things about my experience! My outcome is awesome, I am so pleased!I admit I was a little hesitant about going to Mexico for the work I had done-- but it turned out --awesome! The facility is pristine clean, and have so many accreditations- American and Mexican- -you can see for yourself online! The staff could not have been greater- especially my girl Yasenia(Dr Fuentes assistant) she is the best- helps you with everything! I will definetly be recommending to everyone I know that wants to go to an awesome Dr and facility to receive beautiful results, clean clean clinic, best staff and not to mention the excellent prices! And since my arrival at the clinic, the operating room, recovery room, spa, until my last day at Recovery Boutique, everyone was very respectful and took care of me extremely well! This is horrible place. I go for stomach lipo 8/2017 he burn my skin i cant go to the beach he leave in my left side a big scar like quater so i go back i ask him what happen why i have the scar luxe like 2 quarter size and very Thick and red and he tell me he dont know so i just go back home. I go 3 days ago 4/3/2019BAJA PLASTIC SURGERY. they really help me very good Doctor they cut the thick scar they ask me who do that. I tell Dr Quiroz from COSMED clinic Tijuana . How I dont know. Dr Quiroz make me face lift too. And baddd job I do nt recommend it. I am 28 years old and had a hi-def lipo done in June 2019 by the awesome Dr. Castañeda. He is one of the best surgeon's in Mexico! Adriana, the patient coordinator was awesome and followed up every step of the way through my surgery. The ladies in the clinic's recovery room (not the boutique hotel as I did not stay there) were great and very attentive at all times. I can say I am completely satisfied with my procedure after exactly two months post-surgery. I have previously witness three other plastic surgeries in the US and neither compares to the outstanding care and service I received at CosMed Clinic by their great doctor and staff. Dr. Castañeda will definitely by my plastic surgeon for many years to come!

This clinic stole all my money and then said they had no documentation of me paying. Then when I sent them the proof they told me a woman that worked for them was stealing.... but that they wouldn’t reemburse my positive balance that there was nothing they could do and thy wouldn’t give me my money towards the surgery at all. That I would have to re pay a second time if I wanted surgery. No one answers once they have money and no one responds to my emails anymore and i never ever seen the money back. So be careful. Your hard earned money will disappear and you won’t get anything done. I have all the messages and proof and screen shots of all of this. It’s been years and years now and still never fixed. Then I dig deeper and found hundreds of woman on a fb page that posted their scary photos. Of their stories and surgery. I cried at how scary their stories were. I couldn’t myself very lucky that I didn’t get surgery. I have photos of the woman too if you want to message me.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Quiroz! I had a lower body lift in 2006 and 12 years later, it still looks great. The scar is practically invisible/hairline which is fantastic.I recently went back to discuss more procedures (arm lift, thigh lift, upper body lift/crescent lift and lipo on hips) and he was as friendly and knowledgeable as ever and greeted me like we were old friends! A great thing is Dr Q and his team don't try to get you all the "extras" (like selling Botox if you're there for an arm lift if you don't ask for it)- he truly takes the time to discuss your areas of concern and answer questions. You won't feel rushed at all during the consultation. When I had my last surgery with him, he was great with follow-up, including calling after surgery to check on me. When I became ready to schedule my next operations, there was no other surgeon I would have considered going to-- and I even have an uncle who is a plastic surgeon! Dr Quiroz is professional, kind and does great work. His staff is wonderful also! I have spoken with Ana who has been great. I met with Dennise when I came in and she was so kind and took her time. They charged us more than what we pay here in the States for mole removal and their dermal pharmacy is a joke! Their employees and family members write false reviews all over social media. I had a procedure done by Juan Carlos Fuentes at their facility in 2016. He did a huge amount of damage on my health. I was calling multiple times wanting to speak to him, or a director of the clinic Alejandro Quiroz. Both of them ignored my calls, and then they blocked me. I spent 2 month at the hospital fighting for my life. Fuentes damaged the parotid gland, and removed the saliva duct. I almost died. I had 7 surgeries, went through a lot of physical and emotional pain because of Fuentes mistreatment! They lure people with their prices, be cautious with those so called doctors! DO NOT TRUST JUAN CARLOS FUENTES! DANGEROUS BUTCHER!
Dr. Quiroz did an amazing job with my lip fillers! He was very nice and thorough! He even numbed my lip so that I wouldnt feel a thing (previous Dr in SD did not). I cant wait to head down there again in 6 months to see him again! I would recommend Cosmed to anyone wanting something done!!
I booked an another appointment for botox and I was so impressed by the facilities at VIDA and more importantly by the expertise of Dr. Fuentes. Though the appointment goes by quickly I feel like he is very thorough in examining the lines in my forehead and he studies the way my facial muscles move before each injection. You can tell he also cares that you are happy with the results and asks and listens before hand if you prefer to have some natural movement when making expressions. I was so happy with my results after my first appointment that I have been telling all my friends to come here! I’ve only received botox but saw they also offer fillers, other injectables, laser hair removal, and many other treatments. I will definitely be coming back!
Dr. Castañeda gave me that good vib and was going to schedule surgery but the lack of communication with his secretary just ruined everything. I was promised calls back that i never even got. At the end i decided to go to another surgeon because it left me to think of they dont return my calls now, what makes me think they will be responsible if something happens.
On January 24 of this year, I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Fuentes, it was my first surgery and the truth was that it was a very good experience, I did not have any complications during or after surgery, the recovery was very calm, I did not have any pain, I did not get bruises in the eye area, or anywhere, in a few words everything was perfect, Dr. Fuentes is very professional in his work, he is excellent, also the nurses and the other team of CosMed are, they were very kind and helpful to me. If you are considering surgery, I recommend CosMed, it is the best place without a doubt. Thank you all very much for this incredible experience. ❤️

I had lost 140 lbs in two years. I was extremely proud of what I had accomplished, but I did not like the extra skin and saggy butt and breasts. I really wanted to have surgery, but knew that I could not afford to do all that I wanted to do in the states. So, I did a lot of research and decided that CosMed was for me. I had surgery at CosMed September 5th 2017 with Dr. Alejandro Quiroz. I had a full body lift, Brazilian butt lift, breast lift with implants and arm lifts.I know that is way more surgery to have done at one time than the norm. Dr. Quiroz did tell me ahead of time that he would not promise to do everything I wanted. Safety was a first priority for him. But since my labs were excellent, he said he would see how the surgery progressed and how I was tolerating it, then he would decide if it was safe to continue. Thankfully, he was able to do everything I wished! I can not express enough how wonderful the care and attention was that I had during my 2 week stay. I was visited daily by a doctor. The nurses were very attentive and took the very best care of me. I can honestly say that the care there was far better than you could ever receive in the states. The food was delicious and the rooms were very nice and very clean. Even after I came home, Dr. Quiroz called me weekly, then bi-weekly or so, to check on me to see how I was doing even after I was home for nearly 3 months after surgery. If i could give it 0 stars I would... this place nearly killed me. I woke the day after my surgery in a pool of blood the dr didnt put the bulbs on my drainage tubes because doing so would cause to much work for the night nurse. The night nurse made me keep the room light on all night so sge watvh me on the tv and not have to check on me or the pne other paticent all night..i got MRSA then spetic. I stayed in the recovery spa for a few days getting any kind of help was like pulling teeth.. I was the only paticent on the whole spa... do not go here... my mom got a facelift looked decent but the scaring was jagged and visable
Him and his team are extremely helpful, always willing to help. His team were so sweat and caring, they never left out details, or made you feel uncomfortable or anxious. They are amazing people. Dr.Castañeda explains the process to you, and 100% tries to give you results based on what you want. I am extremely happy with the result. I am a gastric bypass patient and I have lost a 149 pounds. I waited 7 years to have surgery. My daughter did alot of research and found this wonderful clinic just across the boarder. She went first and was very pleased with her results. My daughter had had previously had her breast done. Due to having 6 children they were sagging and she needed a little help. Since she was pleased, I went. I was picked up ar the boarder by a lovely young woman. She was the only one that I meet there that did not speak English, everyone else speaks English and Spanish. It did not matter to me because my Husband is bilingual. If it is a concern to you dont worry about that, they will take good care of you. I loved how they go over every detail witb you. I choose to get my arms, tummy and breast done .In my stste they would not do them at the same time. They said it would take 10 hours. In Mexico he did it all in 4.5 hours. He did a wonderful job. I walk by the mirror and look at myself never did I think I would have such nice breast. My tummy tight as a drum. The clunic was so professional. Everyone from the ladies who cleaned my beauriful room with marble floors 2 big comfy beads for me and my husband to stay were so professional. They cooked 5 star food for us, my husband is an Executive Chef, and very picky he goobled his up. In the states you are booted out right after surgery. Here you are watched by a nurse overnight, Then you go down to your room were they keep an eye on you wirh a nurs
My experience here was amazing. I can't complain about anything at all from the pre-op to hotel until I left home. Even after I left I was still able to come in months later on some concerns I have and they help me out right away with them without even having an appointment. I will be coming back really soon.

I had a full facelift (Neck, Eyes, Forehead) completed by Dr. Quiroz in 08/2015. I and others were so impressed with the incredible results, that I've had 2 procedures completed in the past 9 months by Dr. Quiroz and Dr. Castaneda. Their knowledge, experience, professionalism, facilities along with the safety and caring of every staff member and other Drs. have caused me to return. I did a lot of research and actually visited other Drs. in CA and Tijuana but, CosMed far exceeded the standards of any other I visited in Tijuana and in California where I live. The prices are great too. Approx. 50% less compared to other Plastic Surgeons in California and it is literally 10 minutes from San Diego. Your going to be impressed...
Hello, everyone . I'm posting this because I want to let everyone know about my experience with dr.Quiroz in Tijuana Mexico. It's been a year that I did my surgery with dr. Quiroz and it was very unpleasant . I was schedule for the surgery in July 9 2016 for my eye lift upper and lower and for my tights ultrasonic liposuction . After the surgery I notice my right eye was different that the the other one but dr. Said because it was swollen it will look perfect later and my tights uneven even they were swollen.. But you can't see the results inmediately of curse . After two months or three I saw the results. What a surprise! The upper line of my eye was not the same as the other one ! And also the lower line too! And my thighs horrible! For this summer I can't wear regular swimming suit because this imperfection. I'm so disappointed even the dr. Knew about it all he said was it will look great! So if you are thinking or searching for his work think twice . I don't want this to happen to anyone!
Above and beyond! I am impressed and can not wait to go back, the Surgeon is an Artiest. With a Few units of Botox I look Like I had a facelift. They make going to Mexico a fun trip. There was no question of safety, Everybody speaks perfect english. Their prices are so good that it might make you question the quality, I assure you they provide better customer service then Nordstrom. I will write another review after I get my next procedure. I was a bit nervous to go to Tijuana for a cosmetic surgery, being that I live in Canada. However I had the best experience with my doctor. The anesthesiologist was so comforting while relaxing me. They went above and beyond to ensure my safety and the results were more than I could have hoped for. I am so impressed with this clinic. It is immaculately clean and the staff are on call at all times day and night 24 hours to help you with whatever you need. The after care provided is thorough and very clear. My patient coordinator Paulina :) should be given an award for all the extra help she gave me with arranging my stay and after care. The prices are very good and I felt extremely safe, comfortable, and have amazing results, even early on in my healing process. I would recommend this clinic to anyone anywhere. I already have for all my friends who are looking to have a procedure done. The drivers that take you back and forth to the airport are friendly and positive, they seem to really care for the people. My trip to CosMed was amazing! The building is so beautiful, and VERY clean. They took great care in all the details to show the utmost beauty of the building. I have been to a Dr. office in Beverly Hills that was not as nice as CosMed! The staff at CosMed is incredible! They are very friendly and attentive. They helped me along in every detail that was needed in getting me to my surgery. From What Labs I needed, to staying at the Revovery Boutique, and post care. I was able to contact the Dr, and he would respond promtly, or call me personally. The bedside manor of Dr. Quiroz, as well as Dr. Castaneda, was BY FAR the BEST that I have ever had! I have the utmost respect for these Drs and the care that they give to their patients. I can't thank them enough. The surgery that I had done, has certainly changed my life! Dr. Quiroz is very honest, and takes his time to explain things to you, and to make sure that you fully understand. As for Cost, I paid about HALF of what I would have in the US, and had TWICE as much care and compassion!! I have another surgery that I need to have done, and I KNOW that I will be go back to CosMed. I live in San Diego but, I came in for a plastic surgery consultation and my first session of laser hair removal. It was great experience. I couldn't be happy with the results, I can't wait to go back and finish up my laser hair treatments.
After hours and hours of research, I decided to go in for a consultation with Dr. Juan Carlos Fuentes. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful and clean state of the art facility along with the polite staff waiting to greet me at the door. I was extremely impressed by the level of service provided. Dr. Fuentes listened attentively to all my concerns regarding the technicality of the procedure and showed me a gallery of before and after pictures of prior patients. His suggestions and professional opinion helped me decide on what exactly I wanted to proceed with, and really showed that he genuinely cares for his patients. I am extremely excited to continue on this journey with the whole CosMed team and look forward to my surgery!

The Clinic was as described and beyond, it was beautiful...magazine decorated, clean, with state of the art equipment for cutting edge procedures. Cosmed Clinic is managed by the very caring family members of Dr. Quroz, I felt welcomed and safe from the moment I arrived. Dr. Quirozs' beautiful wife, Lisette is gracious, stays updated, and is very well informed. The rest of the staff was always available to respond to any questions or concerns. I was very impressed with the fact that I could address different issues on the same day in the same location, with the assurance that all Doctors were communicating to assure I would receive the best results, I even whitened my teeth. Cosmed Clinic and Dr. Alejandro Quiroz are #1 in my opinion. I made the decision to travel to Cosmed after having several consultations in the area I live. To be honest, I was just not comfortable with the information I was given. Since I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Quiroz 25 years ago and travel to Mexico for a procedure I thought I would do some research and locate him again. I was excited to find that he had a practice in Tijuana and I contacted him through the Cosmed website. I could not be happier with my decision and my results. Traveling for any reason can be stressful but the Cosmed staff did everything possible to make the entire process a pleasure. The facility is beautiful and all the staff are pleasure to work with. From the first contact to the final visit before returning home, I honestly can not recall a time of having and second thoughts. Results from my procedures are amazing and my mother was so pleased with them that she opted to have work done also.The care and compassion that Dr. Quiroz gives to his patients is wonderful, he truly has THE BEST bedside manner of any doctor I have known. I came into CosMed today for laser hair removal and I'm happy to write a review! The clinic is right across the border. Not only does it have the lowest pricing, but it uses the newest hair removal machine called LightSheer. I can't believe how great it was! It was basically pain free and quick. I met Dr Quiroz at the 2013 Obesity Help conference and had a consult and we decided a lower body lift, breast lift and some lipo sculpting with a fat transfer to my buttocks was the way to go. Dr Quiroz and his staff are truly amazing. They treat you like family while you are there and every time they see you after. My results are amazing I have the perfect beach body after losing 112lbs from weight loss surgery.After my procedures I made the best choice ever to stay in the recovery boutique located in the same building. With round the clock nursing care and all meals included this was a no brainer. The ladies at the boutique take amazing care of you. Helping with your every need from being hungry at 3 AM no problem (they'll bring you a snack), to helping you in and out of bed and even helping you bathe when needed. At one point I had a bout of low blood pressure and since I was in the boutique no problem they called up Dr Q and I was treated right away and felt 1000 times better (no more dizziness on standing) Had I been at a hotel I would not have had this luxury. Hands down choosing to have cosmetic surgery in Mexico with Dr Quiroz at CosMed and staying in the recovery boutique was the best decision ever. I live close enough that I even now go down every few weeks for laser hair removal. Thank You Dr Quiroz and everyone at CosMed!
Wow, well what can I say? Nothing but great things with the Cosmed team! I went in for a nose job, insistent on making sure it would look natural. After all, it was my face! I wanted to make sure I felt confident in my decision. From the first time I had my consultation with my doctor I knew I had nothing to worry about. His patient way of making sure my voice was heard, eased any worries or questions that I previously had. The entire Cosmed staff has always been very welcoming and helpful in making sure your needs are met, making you feel very confident in your decision by the competence that these doctors have and the genuine desire to make sure you are receiving what you are looking for. I have since gone back for the laser hair removal and it has been the best decision I've made!With sure confidence I can tell you, there is no need to think about it twice, Cosmed is the place to go!

Commonly referred to as a Rhinoplasty, it is the medical term for reshaping of the nose or corrective surgery of the nose. It is one of the most common facial plastic surgeries (Facelift) procedures performed. Nose surgery can be performed to change the consequence of genetics, birth defect or nasal injury.
