This is happening right at this moment i am typing this review. My mother is in critical condition due to breast cancer and wanted to just go home (as her physician recommended it is too late, she is weak and in her final stage) She is not doing well and in pain and her REQUEST IS JUST TO GO HOME. My sisters are waiting for the ambulance to take her home because she is very weak. It took them so long that my family just decided to take her home. I couldn't believe they will let a patient, my mother, who is critically ill to wait that long just to go home. I am very disgusted with how the process and treatment with a critically ill patient. Do not bring your family in this hospital!

To get your laboratory results, they invite you to call their laboratory landline number which is just a joke... You will just wait there forever. If by any chance someone pick up the phone, they will directly redirect you to another number... which will start the process again... To add more fun, you might also be simply cut off after some time...For an hospital like The Medical City Ortigas, this awful service is a shame!!!!

The main lobby will give you a feeling of being in a resort or hotel lobby. The newly open Central Park will be an extra treat, an amenity area that will give patients and visitors the feeling of being at home in their own garden. Doctors here are the best in the country. State of the art facilities and high tech medical equipment. How I wish every Filipino can experience the medical care and assistance at Thé Medical City.❤️ March 4, 2020, I went to the Ambulatory Service Center- as usual long line but patients are comfortably seated and patiently waiting. I have been on food and water fasting for my blood extraction. Not to over fast I approached the lady at the counter 4, to let her know of my situation. She was so quick in attending to my concern and never ask for anything, not even my ID or HMO. She accompanied me at the blood extraction area and everything I need was well taken cared of because of her. Thank you very much Ms. Maria Concepcion Calayan Golla for your kind assistance and compassion. Keep up the excellent work. May your tribe increase. All the best!❤️

Unethical doctors. Doctors brainwash and pressure resident doctors and nurses to conceal medical errors, with patients and families suffering from the non-disclosure of fatal mistakes.

Their queue system in Intellicare Medical System needs to improve A LOT. When I got in they were calling for A110, my number was A111. They called my number after 45 minutes, having called first more than 10 people that came after me. I asked the ladies nicely twice and was just told to wait and sit down. Very inefficient system, and staff was not helpful. 2 of them were playing mobile games or texting or what not while only 2 worked . The other after playing mobile games went to a doctor's room to eat.

The nurses at the ER is not giving much details about the process and how you will be assisted, specially if you are using a HMO card.. Without knowing what the coverage of the card is, they immediately say that you have to pay this amount if it won't be approved.. They are discouraging you to get medical attention from them if you're a medical insurance cardholder.. It gives patients fear that they will pay huge amount if they can't use their card.. Telling you that you have to gamble if you'll get approved or not.. Not to mention, the way they value their patient's time like they just don't care if you are already waiting for your turn for hours, and if you're turning pale, unless you drop dead on the floor.. They just care about money making.. Just read their motto and you will know what I mean.. One of the worst, if not the worst, hospitals i've ever been..

Nurses are so slow, you'll die before you get a treatment. Or your sickness will comeback because of 7 to 8 hours of waiting in ER waiting area.

I went to their Emergency last October at 9am because I was suffering from on and fever for four days. They immediately check my condition and took a blood sample. The worst thing is they made me wait until 3pm just to get the CBC result that was already released at 11am. KUNG HINDI PA KO NANGULIT, HINDI KO PA MAKUKUHA.Another situation, my Mother went their for an eye check up. She was referred to several doctors and was prescribed A LOT of Meds. For her follow up check up, same things happened, different doctors. PINAGPASA PASAHAN SIYA. Worst case they changed one of the prescribed Meds and argue why the other doctor prescribe too much meds.Sana naman maayos yung system. Yung pasyente pa magkakandahirap maghanap ng doctor. Buti po sana kung bata pa yung patient. Anyway , regardless of age be responsible guys. Please be accurate, eye meds are not cheap.

We paid over 30,000 pesos for an Executive Checkup. You would think they would at least treat us with executive customer service. My husband left his receipt in the PH so I need a duplicate. It is unbelievable all they are requiring to get a copy of the receipt! We’ve been emailing back and forth for 2 days now using the email address that THEY HAVE ON FILE! It’s not like some random email we are using. We have had multiple checkups in the past and they won’t send a receipt as if they are punishing us for losing it! Not only that, but the Customer Service Specialist (I will leave unnamed), is the only one who has emailed me. I haven’t even received a reply from Records or Accounting. I’m switching to St Luke’s!!!

The Medical City is one of the better hospitals in Manila. Its facilities are quite good and are regularly updated. It boasts of state-of-the-art healthcare services from some of the country's top medical practitioners. Of course, these services do come at a price. Moreover, the hospital has a pleasantly unhospital-like food court, which has a wide array of hearty meals to choose from. TMC regularly offers mini-seminars and lay forums on various health topics that are open to the public. The Medical City General Hospital is located within one of the city's major business and commercial districts. The traffic within the vicinity is just horrendous, especially along Ortigas avenue.

Arrived at 7PM Dec9. Went straight to ER due to unbearable chest pain. When they saw the ECG result normal they seemed to relax already waited for an hour and for another hour and results will be available in 2-3hrs. All you will do here is to wait. Atleast the security guards were the only ones approachable. Nurses won't prioritize you believe me I was standing inside the consultation room and nurses with their chitchats over their boyfriends and plans later on is their priority. No one will be asking how can they be of help with a pain aching on your chest. Worst really.

Went to the.ER, i have to wait 4 hrs just to be checked up. But tried understanding their policy since they prioritize those with urgent needs. Then after, 2 more hours for the blood cbc and xray results. Then using value care as my health card means waiting again. Im still here.....waiting....been an hour already.....slowest hospital. Be forwarned!

Arrived at ER at 9:18pm due to chest pain, when ECG was normal, they seemed became lax already. Doctor was able to check me past 10pm, so I waited in the waiting area for more than an hour. So, doctor checked me and advised I need to undergo blood extraction. Blood extraction was facilitated past 11pm, an hour after the doctor's check. Then, the results took 2 hours. Then recharge took time too. All in all, I spent 5 hours in the ER mostly just waiting. I know they need to attend to other patients with more urgent needs, but 5 hours of mostly just waiting is too much! This is the slowest hospital ever!

I understand that you can't easily disclose a potential patient's information without significant proof, and that you time is precious, but at least spare some understanding and hospitality to people who are looking for someone important that may have been in your premises all along, without having to hang up on them so hastily.

Most of the doctors here are unprofessional when it comes to time. you will always be the one to have patience with them. if clinic is 1-3pm, they will start at 3pm onwards. they don't care of the patients waiting. if they will not arrive on time, they should atleast notify their secretary of their expected time of arrival to notify the patients. very filipino time.

I was admitted in the ER Oct 21 (monday). They said they had to put an IV on me. This guy nurse started to find a vein on my right hand and penetrated my skin. HE MISSED and was trying to adjust the needle by moving it in and out. I don't know how your nurses in the ER passed the exam if they can't even get an IV done right in one go. it's been 3 days and my right hand still hurts from that miscalculation.

Care for the elderly, our parents we brought them here for Fundus Photo & Diabetic Foot Diagnostics exams where 2-3 working days results. Courteous staffs. Parking. Off-city. Near Megamall 10-min away. Php 2,500 after the senior citizen discount. Oh you’d need an appointment before doing the exams please. Oh BTW, and I 👍 👍this, when you’re to get out please pay your parking at any nearest lobby parking cashier ( now Apr 2019 it’s at B2 level only) with your parking card so when you drive out you won’t queue up anymore and use fast lane/exit as you’ve paid already. Smart!Same building you’ll see Seven Eleven & Mercury Drug. Today, holy Monday 2019. An emergency for my Dad: Very friendly professional Nurses and Doctors. Organised. Well thought out process especially emergency admissions. Relaxed environment posing no stress for patients and guardians. You will love their services as a Pinoy hospitality culture is there. Dad’s here and I am most comfortable with them. Skillfull talaga sila. God bless you all mam, sir, doc.Opposite TMC is Rockwell Business Centre, just walk across and you’ll find 24h Jollibee & Army Navy. Also there are: Mary Grace, KFC, and many more.-Friends, today 3rd July, clinic check up with Dad. Parking is challenging. God-given public parking-Friends, for those who are new who may benefit for today’s another visit to good ol TMC ( 11.11.2109 ) the process goes:Subject: Laboratory Blood Test, PTPA, Kreatinin, then doctor consultation, patient 82 male. 1. Staff are good however, doctor's have different findings. 2 doctors assisted me and yet they have different results don't know which one is correct So Incompetent! They dont want me to be admitted though I'm freaking tired. They made me wait for two hours. Will never go back to this hospital! They do unneccesary lab test just to get money fron the patient. Cr as well isvery bad , lack of maintenance . I thought this hospital is good because its big and famous so I chose it but I was wrong. Super wrong!

My visit here at medical city ortigas emergency is sort of dissatisfying, i sent myself over to the hospital.and yet the nurse attend to me said, i have to wait for 2 to 3 hours, is this now the protocol? They make their patient, feeling disgusted waiting. Compare to makati med when i visit there the staff attend me immediately and i was then endorse to the right department for check up. Here at TMC you need to be in a long queue...patawarin ng dios sa comment ko.

From my experience, I only have seen idiots in white coats here. No real doctors. I have been here on multiple occasions & they always diagnose me with something I do not have. Then they sell me expensive medication I don't need, it doesn't cure me, go back in 2 weeks, repeat. There is one doctor there especially either very ignorant in his profession or just really dumb. He's in Gastroenterology, Jonathan Sandejas. He walks and dresses like a thug with his hair pulled back in a bun, he acts like a crack addict, always jumpy, won't let you finish a sentence, etc. Same characteristics of a crack head. He never asked me my symptoms (??? WTF???) then told me a had a disease that I know I don't have. (Without asking for symptoms and without examining me???) After trying to explain to him things, he argued with me, used a few curse words, then started on a temper tantrum. Seriously? Does this hospital do drug screenings for their doctors? There were several other things I noticed about the doctors and other things like black mold growing, inconsistencies with the staff, etc. but that experience with that "Doctor" was the worst experience I ever had with a hospital. I definitely would not recommend that hospital or him.

Worst. You set an appointment, you wait for the doctor for 2 hours. Nurses at the psychiatry department are the worst. Snobbish, liars, do not have a bit of empathy to the patients they deal with. Unorganized. Emergency not treated as emergency. Worst hospital ever.

My review for medical city is based on my visits over 10 years. I believe most of the problems are coming from the management because the staff are friendly and knowledgeable in general and willing to help but there is only so much they can do . Everything in general is very slow in medical city . Sometimes it will takes hours for you to be able to get one admission paper .Most of the private doctors will not visit you on time and you need to wait in front of their clinic for a long time .Not to mention that for you to get inside the elevator you need to stay in a long line .For me the worst part is the parking they have a one of a kind approach . When you use the hospital parking ,aside from the parking ticket they give you another piece of paper to have it sign by the department you are visiting if not need to get another paper and have it signed any department you go and give it back to the cashier if not you will. There are better hospitals in manila for sure I suggest you do a bit of research and see if you can go somewhere ealse

5 star to Medical City Wellness1 star to emergency room pedia - you have to be very patient waiting for long hours. They will initially check you but after that you have to wait more than an hour to go to the next step. Worst I am just waiting for the release paper. I am not satisfied with the doctor so I have to go to another hospital.

One of the premiere hospitals in the country. The Medical City has the state of the art medical facilities and most insurance providers are accepted. Note that if you are coming from EDSA, the left turn in front of Meralco gate 2 is closed from 7AM to 10AM, and again at 4PM to 7PM, every weekdays.

Great hospital with awesome doctors and nurses. I love medical city! I've been admitted to medical for more almost 6 months and even though i was really sick i was treated properly by the nurses my doctors were very nice as well. It's one of the best hospital in the country. I always pay a visit every month for my check up and familiar faces are still there. The management is good as well. All of them has been a big help for my recovery.

I just had my procedure done tonight under Dr. Ramy Roxas (Colorectal Surgeon) and Dr. Elke Sauz (Anesthesiologist). I cannot be more satisfied and reassured. This has been my second procedure within 3 years and in a way, happy to see familiar faces who also remembered me. Wow!I want to thank everyone for their hard work, including but not limited to the OR team and the RR staff: Angela, Dr. KD, Dr. Chan, Dr. Henson; Nurse Rhian from Ambulatory who was patient enough not to mind my blood drawing queasiness, APEC staff, et al. I may have failed to ask for the other nurses' and doctors' names but I'll never forget their faces and the care I was afforded. Please extend my regards to your wonderful people, they made me feel at ease throughout the procedure. It may just be a job for some, but their dedication to working long hours and tending to their patients with the same amount of optimism and customer service from day in to day out is very commendable. Thank you very much!

The healthcare services is good but the wait just for accounting is extremely long. It took almost 2 hours for them to just provide the bill. There were some necessary paperwork that needs to be provided but nobody told us. We had to call just to find out. You have to take your time at billing just to pay for it. Slowest hospital I've been to. Avoid if you can.

HEALTH is WEALTH🙏🏻We cannot predict when sickness will strike but it is comforting to know that there are hospitals where patients are well taken cared of and, even considered as partners. The Medical City is a tertiary care hospital in the Philippines where its health care complex serves some 40,000 in-patients and 400,000 out-patients annually. TMC has a medical staff of over 1,000 physicians complemented by 2,200 workers engaged in allied medical, administrative and support servicesFor assistance, you may call 988-1000.#MillionaireMakerMoment✔️

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Doctors are inexperienced, or experienced and just really dumb. I have seen 3 doctors here and they all seem to have an IQ of about 30. THEY WILL DIAGNOSE YOU WRONG SO YOU HAVE TO KEEP COMING BACK AND PRESCRIBE EXPENSIVE MEDICATION EACH TIME!!! Trust me, it's not worth it.To management at Medical City Hospital: You should go through and clean house and get rid of all the doctors there that do this to their patience. It's not fair when people are sick and dying that the doctors want to create repeat business for themselves.

There is a conscious effort to remind you of patients' rights, compared to about 6 months ago, and I appreciate that. The worst thing next to not getting the healthcare you need is not understanding the kind of healthcare given to you and how you're billed. The doctors are more communicative and nurses more attentive than most hospitals.

Just pretending and show. Extremely expensive. They force you to have unnecessary test just to pay. A collection of private doctors that I strongly doubt of their proffessional skills (at least whom I was involved). Emergency cases can't be handled efficiently.

The hospital layout is confusing if you're not familiar. The rooms are comfortable and offer air conditioning and a bathroom for confined patients. There are numerous food establishments scattered across the hospital and a variety of cuisines to choose from.

The emergency room service is incredibly slow! For an expensive hospital, this place is grossly understaffed and inefficient! It's unbelievable! I've tried other services and consultations and they're generally better. The ER is poorly managed! No problem with the staff themselves, they tried their hardest to attend to everyone. Of course, we needed to wave multiple times to prompt reassessment or assistance. The shift changes didn't have proper turn over. The doctors needed to start again, not knowing what the diagnosis was. These delays matter in emergencies. Never had to write a review about a hospital or clinic before because the waiting and the shortcomings were still somehow tolerable. But this is just unacceptable!

First of all, please bear with my long message. I would like to inform you about the minor incident that happened today. I inquired for pre-employment services since your branch was near my place. And, one of your receptionists was rude towards me. I came from work and did not expected to be treated that way. Verbratim:Me: "Miss, bale magkano po lahat? (I was asking the total price since I plan to avail the pre-employment services plus ecg).Receptionist: 610 plus 630. She then shifts to her co-worker,Receptionist: I-compute mo nga (I saw her smirking and her tone of voice was not even appropriate). I was only asking for clarification. I did not wish to be treated dumb. I am a professional, too. I work closely with patients as well and I am a client. I was offended.

Not recommended! My wife and my mother-in-law got a horrible experience from one of the allergologist of this hospital. My wife felt that they were being belittled by the doctor's approach to them. I don't think that being a low profile patient should be treated like an idiot. I believe that being a doctor he/she should not make any discriminations to patients wether they belong in a low class or in a high class society. My mother-in-law was really in an state were she felt "nanliit" and makes her confidence in a low level, because she was being approached in a terror way of the said doctor, she is a senior citizen that's why there are questions that may not be properly answered by her, thus it is the responsibility of a doctor to ask in a nice way and make her patience long since not all her questions will be met by the patient's answer by her expectations. And one more thing, the said doctor came in late about an hour and still, got the nerve to be impolite.Medical city please be reminded that we, the low class patients have also the right to be treated/approached in a proper way, since we are also paying your expensive consultations. We will not seek medical consultations in your hospital if we can't pay it like your high class patients.

My Dad died in this hospital. He underwent hemodialysis in this place and the nurses were very uncaring, the doctors doing the rounds were only there for show, when asked how my Dad was doing, they would just repeat what we already knew, they could not even provide details on his current state. My Dad even developed an infection during the dialysis, the nurses assigned in the dialysis unit were poorly trained, I don't think they were qualified at all. There was no sign of caring, no compassion, not for the patient or for our family. The staff processing the bills even committed errors, I had to check the bills repeatedly, recalculate them and show the staff where their calculations went wrong. It was such an frustrating experience. If you're looking for a hemodialysis centre where your loved one would be cared for, go and look somewhere else. This place is not about helping or caring for patients. The medical staff knows nothing about the hospital's core values.

Was very frustrated with security. My car has a PWD sticker. I dropped off my patient at the lobby and parked afterwards. Tried to park at the basement at the designated PWD parking. The security stopped me from parking telling me I can't park because my patient was not with me. I pointed to my sticker. He said I need the patient with me to park. Very frustrating when he pointed me to another slot. I checked the other car parked in another PWD slot. No PWD sticker! I told the security that PWD stickers shouldn't be used anymore since they are now useless.

This is a solid hospital, great facilities, employees are generally nice & kind, the hospital also has many food, drinks & convenience stores surrounding it. 4 stars because some of their logistical work could be done better, and also not a big fan of the EMTs, they need a little more training.

Thank you very much to TMC Trinoma and Antipolo for the very efficient response to my request for my medical records. However, TMC-SM North EDSA Annex's response was very much delayed by the protocol of TMC Main, since my former physiatrist isn't connected with SM North EDSA Annex anymore. In such case, TMC should implement a better policy regarding the procurement of medical records based on notes of former medical providers. On the other hand, branch lady bosses Connie and Glenda both smoothly bridged the gap towards the end of the entire release process.

Please train your nurses better!!!...it s not tolerable that in 3 days stay every time that they changed the IV there was a problem!! They missed the vein (blood all over), they didn t connect properly the antibiotics making miss the daily dosage!! such a waste. Plus the elevator take hours to bring people up and down!!

Going to the hospital is never a fun time. Medical City however is the best I have experienced in Manila. Chose over St. Luke's BGC and Makati Med. Professional staff. Well run institution.

My only issue would be the ER.I was rushed here a couple of times, but ER service is too slow. I understand that you segregate ER patients as urgent or non-urgent cases, but there are patients who are less tolerant to pain than others. My last visit was because of a backpain. I have been waiting for an hour, and I still wasn't attended to. A few more minutes and I decided to ask if I could lie down before I get diagnosed since sitting has become painful for me.I only got attended to the moment I was lying in bed. And it's always that same bed in the hallway beside the door!I got released after 3 hours, and to my surprise the girl who got in after me was only attended then. And she was even suffering stomach problems at that time!I felt bad for the poor girl who waited for 4 hours before she got attended to, and to all other patients in ER who goes there seeking for immediate care.I have no issues with other facilities, rooms, and services. Just the ER. PLEASE IMPROVE IT ASAP.

APT per out-patient is around 5 hours. So frustrating. Some doctors opt to finish all queued patients before they prescribe medicines per patient. Too many hours are wasted. Hope they can apply Lean Six Sigma principle to improve their services. If they improve their processing time, I'll definitely give a higher score.

I never had any problems with the services and staff. And ive never been hospitalized in my life so i was definitely scared at first.Tbh, i just had an allergy and they had to bring a wheel chair which i find hilarious and kind of embarrassing. I told the nurse that i can walk by myself but she insisted that i sit on it. I was also able to witness a doctor in training being guided by a tenured nurse on how to put an IV line efficiently. Overall it was a good experience.

I had been undergoing my annual executive check-up at this hospital for over three decades, starting when they were still located in front of St. Francis Church along Shaw Boulevard in the early 80s. Am very pleased with their medical service ever since. Of course, there are some shortcomings as it was not really a very perfect relationship. But those instances were professionally addressed.

Very poor service! They ask you to wait 1-2 hours for a urine exam but then they make you wait 6 hours! Very poor service for the price they charge you. I hope this hospital changes soon. Don't come to this place.

One of the best hospitals I have entered & got service from. I was impressed on the place when I visited a patient. Also, I was happy with the good & affectionate service that I got from the dentist for Medicard clients. I forgot Doctor's name but she is one fine woman & professional.

My mother got admitted in this hospital and was initially diagnosed with TB . Was confined in ICU and treated with strong lung medication for TB. Needless to say she should have had at least biopsy taken before aggressive wrong pulmonary medication. Since she did'n't get good response to med after three weeks in ICU, they took X-ray of the lung and foundl liquid starting to form on the bottom of the lung cavity. They extracted the fluid and found to be cancerous. On the forth week my mom died. She was strong when she was admitted and if she was properly diagnosed she could have had lobectomy which is removal of the affected area and may have lived up to now. We have the resources to cover operation if necessary but poor judgement of the the medical staff including doctors makes a big difference whether you will survive in this hospital or not considering the fees are high. St Luke's would have been better choice, US affiliates are brought here, I wish I had known that. Don't make same mistakes we did.

One of the premier hospitals around the metro. That is if you can bare the Ortigas ave traffic and some cases of slow service. There are instances where the services can be slow and you will need to wait... I meant really wait for your turn. An example was when I have an appointment for my MRI scan and I was informed before hand that the Radiology department is running behind schedule. This is good thing for me since they have set my expectations before hand. They however, failed to mention how delayed is that delay. I waited for 3 hours before they can accommodate me. Sadly they are unable to provide me an estimate or the reason behind the delay. Even with this instance your experience may vary. If you can bare the wait, this establishment still remains as one of the premier Medical Centers in Metro Manila.

If only we had read the previous comment of hiring a private nurse, hindi sana napabayaan sa ICU ang kuya ko. Medical City lack nurse staff even in ICU.My brother was an ICU patient this 2017.Our experiences with the nurse staff:A. The apathetic nurse and broken buzzerUpon arrival of my mother at the ICU room of brother, the latter was irritated. My mother asked my brother for his problem. He said he had been calling the nurse for assistance but no one attended him. the nurse station was just in front of his room. My mother went outside and informed the nurses, who were just chattering at the nurse station. They said the the buzzer was not working, hence, they did not know that my brother was calling them. My mother requested to assign a better or caring nurse to my brother from the ICU director. But the latter responded that all nurse are the same. No, some nurses are more dedicated to their work!On another instance, my mom arrived at the ICU room of my brother. His bed was orange and wet. If the nurse assigned to him was paying enough attention, he would not let his patient soak in his bed.B. Insufficient nurseMy brother's phlegm/sputum needs to be analyzed to diagnose his illness. When he was ready to spit the phlegm, my mother went out of the ICU room to call a nurse. The nurse assigned to my brother was attending another patient in the other ICU room. The nurse told my mom to wait because he was attending the patient. No other nurse assisted them. My brotehr was an ICU

Slow service. Even when the patient is under excruciating pain, they leisurely stroll along the hallway to get some medication. Not to mention during a massive amount of doctors entered our room, inepecting the patient, some younger doctors laugh in the back. If it wasn't for our desperation, we wouldn't have stayed here in the first place.

I went here to have my sister be checked in the emergency department today due to severe back pain. We are under an HMO service. We were not accomodated because we need to personally go the HMO office before being treated. It was also lunch break period so no one at the office was able to accomodate us. We were left without any other options but to wait to be treated becausw of poor coordination of their medical service. Very disappointing. This isn't just the first time that this happened to us.

Very good medical care with high standards. BUT administration and communication especially regarding international patients is a pure nightmare - we were “imprisoned“ in the hospital for 2 complete days due to the inability of the administrative department to clear billing with the insurance company. Our family has had a long relationship with Medical City. My daughter is even born in this hospital. I have high confidence in the competence of their medical staff. One thing that I have noticed though is that the new Pedia ER has not as well managed as the older one. The beds and rooms are not regularly cleaned as soon as a patient is discharged. They also seem to monitor patients less often. In general though the hospital is good.

My son had an right inferior mandibular laceration. We went to the emergency department and was triaged fast and was transferred to the emergency area near the nurses station on the hallway. We sat on two chairs. We patiently waited. An ENT doctor examined by son in one of the rooms. He said that all he needs are steri strips to approximate the laceration together. I disagreed because the laceration was about 2 cm in length and the subcutaneous layer was exposed. The mandible is a part of the anatomy that moves and steri strips on a child will not hold and approximate this area for the duration that it needs to heal which is about 10 days. Suturing is required. *** I wanted to leave but a persistent nurse, possibly in charge, wanted to remedy the situation.*** Dr. Areles and another female Doctor examined my child and stated that he indeed needed stitches. Dr. Areles did perform the stitches under local anesthesia. I had to restrain my son using the hands-inside- the pillowcase technique and then wrapping his body with a blanket. After the wound was explored and cleaned under a sterile field, local 1% lidocaine with epi was applied. When the wound site was numb, Dr. Areles was able to proceed with me holding my son. No other people offered to hold my son, no orderlies, techs, nurses, MDs.*** A simple laceration with no other anatomical complications does not require general anesthesia with a plastic surgeon to perform a simple 10 minute continuous suture application. There ar

After five knee operations to replace and reconstruct, as a service connect disabled veteran, and after playing total HELL with the U.S Veterans Affairs here in Manila, I owe my life to the surgical staff and the head of orthopedics. For their TRUE dedication to the welfare of people, without discrimination, I am very sorry for the hell you have had to endure from the U.S Veterans Affairs Manila. For all their scandalous deceptive game playing, I can only speak for myself when I say to you, not all V.A Facilities are run nor or they in any way in line with the minds and verbal abuse that is manifested by V.A staff at the Manila OPC. Excellent Service!!The ER Nurses and Head nurses are great!!Recommendations Hope your ER space will be expanded to accommodate more patients.Lots of patients in the hallway every time I visit.Provide more rooms so that patients will not stay at the ER for so long. Hope your allied services like laboratory and radiology will cooperate by providing faster turn around time of results. Faster results on your ambulatory services so that patients will not go ER just to have a faster release of results. Improve the interior design of your ER especially at the waiting area and reception area.Bigger and more comfort rooms.

What you need to know about Double Eyelid Creation in Metro Manila

Also known as Blepharoplasty. This form of plastic surgery is used to correct defects of the eyelids or for aesthetically modifying the eye region of the face. It involves the removal of excess skin and fat from around the eyes and the reinforcement of the corresponding muscle and tendon tissues and is centered around the area between the eyebrow and the upper portion of the cheek. Double eyelid surgery creates a crease that makes the eyes appear larger and more alert.  While Caucasians typically are born with a double eyelid crease, approximately 50% of East-Asians do not have a double eyelid crease. Therefore, double eyelid surgery is a highly specialized procedure performed mainly on persons of East-Asian descent. It is the most common type of plastic surgery performed in South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Double eyelid surgery is a safe and versatile surgery for Asians and other patients with monolids. The surgery makes the eyes appear larger and gives them a more alert appearance. There are different techniques that can be customized to achieve the desired results, tailored for each individual patient. Potential patients should consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to determine which double eyelid surgery technique is the best option to achieve their desired results.

What's the Recovery Time for Double Eyelid Creation Procedures in Metro Manila?

Immediately after the surgery, you will suffer from pain and discomfort and you will also experience blurred vision and puffiness of the eyes. Your eyes become sensitive to light and there is swelling and bruising in the initial days which will subside after 1 to 2 weeks. Several months are required before you will see the final results. You will have to take 2 to 3 weeks off work and after this, you can expect to return to office work. You will have to wait for at least 6 weeks if your job requires physical effort.

What's the Success Rate of Double Eyelid Creation Procedures in Metro Manila?

Double Eyelid Surgery has a high success rate but issues can arise as with any surgery, for example, an infection, blood clot formation, scar hypertrophy, etc. Sometimes, there is re-drooping of your eyelids in cases of failed surgery. Usually, only one surgery is required, but if you are unsatisfied, another surgery is always possible, it will have to wait several months though to give your eyes sufficient time to recover from the primary surgery. According to a study, only 9.5% of the subjects showed some complications after the surgery and revision surgeries are performed in these cases. The rest of the subjects were completely satisfied with the results of the surgery.
