Our local family hospital for some time, If you use them check prices of everything before agreeing to any procedure. I was hit with a 5k bill for a child vaccination that elsewhere costs about 1k. Subsequently we collected medication including a syringe.The pharmacist proceeded to open sterile packaging then demonstrated it with ungloved hands to my wife. Afterwards returning it to the packaging and giving it to us. It was only me pointing out and arguing the point it was no longer sterile that she changed it.. be very careful!

This was my regular local hospital my family and I would go to. Service is fine. But lately (last few years) prices have gone up considerably. Just went to another local hospital over on Srinakarin Rd and the same treatment instead was 200 baht cheaper over there. Don't bother emailing them they don't answer. Call or go in person. Oh just went back to get a form stamped for Thai Drivers license. They want 700 baht. Clinic down the street 80 baht. I will never go back here.

Pros Good points:-Decent facility for health check-up.-Food court at basement has good food with decent price, and open to public as well.Cons where to lose:-Parking space is hard to find, so either go early morning, or by taxi. No. Just NO. This place was and always will be, horrible! We wait 2 hours in the children's department!!! They said "3 minutes per children" but somehow it took them 2 HOURS to call us. FYI the mat they use is not clean, a kid that has a desease that can be transmitted through touch, they dont change or clean the mats after he uses it,and we're forced to use the same mat as that kid and everyone else!!!! I was there with my two little ones, one of whom had a very high fever. It was an hour before we were seen from when we walked into the hospital. The hospital itself isn’t anything special. The hygiene standards not great. I didn’t see anyone washing their hands in between measuring temperatures of my two sons or when moving onto next patient. The nursing staff were rude. The cashier took another 20 min and was also rude and abrupt. I don’t know if that’s because we are Farangs but not what I would expect form a private hospital. The doctor seemed to know what she was talking about although I struggled to make her listen to why I was there. I had to interrupt her 3 times as she didn’t even ask what was wrong when I walked in and started saying my youngest doesn’t have temperature so he’s fine! Altogether an unpleasant experience. Won’t go back there unless I have no choice.

I visited this hospital two times. Upon entering the hospital a man that spoke fluent English guided me through the registration process and further on through all the steps needed until i finished the visit and got my medication at the counter. The wait time was ok because it was not very crowded that day. I only was there because i had the flu and diarrhea. Looking at my medication i got quite a long list of meds which was kind of surprising to me. Anyways the prices for the meds were quite low so i didn't mind the fact and only took the antibiotics. There is parking right next to the hospital which worked like a charm. The doctor also spoke quite good English and i had no problems with communication at all inside the hospital.

Thai Nakarin Hospital is an excellent hospital with well-trained specialists and emergency staff. It is a medium-priced private hospital. The emergency room and all hospital facilities are accessible to patients in wheel chairs. The food court features surprisingly good food, and it is quite affordable. A few days ago, I went to the emergency room with a dislocated shouder injury. The emergency room staff was very professional. I am Caucasian, so the hospital had an English-speaking staff member explain everything that was going on in English. The specialist who reduced the injury was very well-trained. He reduced the dislocation efficiently, and he took care to make sure there was no damage to the rotator cuff or to the socket in my scapula. I certainly recommend this hospital.

My son is here because he had a seizure on our trip. First night went well. They took care of him. Next day they gave medicine but ignored our requests and madeno attempted at a translator or communication. That's ok. They said we will be leaving the next day. No they want 2 more days and for us to delay our flight because of a fever of 100.2 .then they tried to give him ibuprofen and acetomenephen at the same time. Likely safe? but not recommended in the states. Then after forcing 3 medicines down his throat in a row (he's 1 mind you) he vomits on the bed. It takes multiple requests and 20 minutes to get this cleaned up .you'd think that's the end, but no .the wipe the mattress with the sheet that's covered in vomit and try to put the sheet on. I have to stop them and start cleaning the mattress myself. I do not suggest more that one night here and only if it's close and an emergency.

Rip patient off & unprofessional OPD medical department, the GP asked for my insurance card and check my OPD & room cover first . I only had common cold plus low grade fever, did nasal swab , blood test & X ray. The nurse who did nasal swab only told me to tilt my head back then poked a long stick into my nose abruptly causing so much pain & nose bleeding! Report came out negative for influenza, but doctor recommended another costly test claiming it's more accurate, I refused. Then she asked me to be admitted because my X ray showed that I have bronchitis. This place is rediculous!

Saved my leg.This Hospital was one of the best things that happened to my life. After a Motorbike accident in Bangkok I had an Emergency surgery at Thai Nakarin Hospital. My condition was critical and I was facing a permanent disabilty in my leg. Doctor THAVAT PRASARTRITHA saved my leg and just after two weeks I was able to go home. This is a private Hospital and is more expensive compared to any government Hospital but you can expect a morr professional treatment in an excellent Hospital.

My mom was admitted here when she has stroke. They let her wait for half a day to see the doctor. And when the doctor arrived, he sent her to do MRI at Ratchada which is very far from the hospital and it took about 2-3 hours more for her to get MRI scan. After that I found out there is an MRI service near the hospital but they probably send her to Ratchada for some benefits. Since then I will not put anyone I love here ever again.
