A 2 minute examination by the gastroenterologist. Two different antibiotics are prescribed for 10 days each. Cost of both drugs 7,000 baht !!!! The same medication is available in Europe for 50 euros. Rip off !!!

8-year-old patient falls on face, upper incisor was moved 45 degrees.9pm, emergency room, no dentist in the house, no advice on where to find one. X-raying the jaw, waiting time for the x-ray image announced for one hour (1h)! During the day it was faster, but now it was night, they said. We did not see any other patient during the approximately one hour stay in the hospital. The doctor says we should go home, he'll call us to let them know about the X-ray. We have not received a call. They speak good English. Clean. Professional Nurses and Doctors. Almost perfect with the exemption of they want me to pay cash and just reimburse my money from my health card insurance company. They even asked me to come back only to force me to pay in cash. They did even after telling them before the procedures that everything should be charge to my health card as my card have been use only once for a muscle strain. They cancelled my other laboratories because I refused to pay in cash. The cashier was even giving me attitude. I was forced to pay at least 350 baht for PT which was a second test I already did outside in much cheaper price. It was my first visit and most likely the last ever.
I broke my ankle on my 3rd day in Hua Hin back in [6th] November 2019. I was taken to hospital and straight into Trauma unit where I saw Mr Waipop, Orthopaedeic Surgeon who wiggled my foot back to it's normal position and arranged for cardiologist [I have atrial fibrillation] to see me before my op on the 12th November. I opted for a spinal block op and the anaesthetist was such a lovely man, unfortunately I didn't get his name but he looked after me all the way to my private room on ITU. The nursing staff were second to none and Mr Waipop came in every day of the 5 days there to clean and dress my ankle - it was broken in 2 places. It mended very well and cleanly with no infection. The after care was also extremely good and I have nothing but praise for the whole team who looked after me during my stay and post op treatment. I have now been discharged! During a Muay Thai training I injured my right knee. At first it didn't look bad, but at night there was severe pain and the knee swelled to a small ball. I could barely move my leg and couldn't walk anymore.I went to the hospital by taxi and was welcomed and instructed in a wheelchair. Directly led to the right department and quickly examined. After an unfortunate heavy fall on Banyan Golf course a visit was necessary. And the service was excellent and the pricing was better than anything in Australia
Was here twice, once in the ER and once to see a specialist. Everyone I encotered from reception staff to nurses and doctors was friendly, professional and had a good command of English. Doctors seemed trustworthy and took the time to explain issues. Waiting times were very reasonable. Moreover the cost is a fraction of what it I think it would be in a Western country.The only minor annoyance is that I had to ask for my scans twice and it took a very long time until they brought them.
We are very grateful to the personnel at Bangkok Hua Hin hospital for spotting my mom’s critical condition right away. We brought her to see the doctor, but she was admitted to the ER right away. Amount 900 euro!! lucky to get the money back from my insurance. YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS FIRST!!! The gave me a lot of pills on the way and documents not only mine but from 2 ! strange patients !! The medication helped me, the examining was ok but the prices should be cleared in advance !!!

Went in for a dog bite. Was seen quickly. The emergency was clean. The staff were excellent. The doctor was very good. The care was to international standards. The treatment was appropriate. They explained the needed follow up. I was definitely impressed with the care received. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again
I spent 5 weeks as an inpatient. I entered through the emergency department and stayed in ICU more than 3 weeks. I then moved to the floor. I had severe pneumonia made worse by my COPD. I had OT, PT, ICU MD Care and my specialist in pulmonology. The care was excellent! I am a U.S. RN with a couple of Masters degrees so I know the care was truly good. The staff all speak English. They are all very helpful. I use this as my primary care outpatient clinic as well. The level of service is outstanding.
After waiting for over an hour asked how many in que before me they lost my paper couldnt find anything so they sent me to a general doctor who was clearly fighting on the phone while I was waiting outside his room.He then proceeded with single word interrogation style questioning of my sickness at super fast speed.Then prescribed me 4000 baht worth of medicine. Within just 3 minutes of talking to me and looking in my throat. Wow impressive then he stormed out of his room with his phone. Worst and most expensive experience ever never come to this hospital its terrible and way overpriced for nothing and wasting your time.
Horrible...Just out to rip you off and make money. Went to get treated for Cough and fever and they insisted on getting admitted to check for TB and lung Cancer instead. There is a limit to cheating people...eventually went to a normal GP and got treated for Bronchitis. Shocking and Incompetent.
If you need a hospital on your holiday...One of our group had a fall and ended up with a shoulder fracture. From the ambulance to discharge she was cared for extremely well, with quality medical staff and care, and very clean and well appointed single rooms on the ward. The nurses were very caring and her pain medication was extremely well managed. Although the insurers decided to medivac her home, she would have been happy to have her surgery at Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin. The doctors also managed her preparation for transport very well...
Trying to sell unnecessary and overpriced treatments. Many young unexperienced doctors with part time contracts. If a doctor cannot boost the sales/turmover he is going to be out of the game as soon. The Human Ressources strategy is hire and fire, maximum pressure to the staff. Medication prices are close to scam. To recommend are only Dr. Chanachai (skin) and Dr. Wittaya (Ortho), not cheap but competent. Both worked in the US for many years and are very experienced. For everything else I go to other hospitals or smaller clinics in Hua Hin.

There are two aspects to be considered:1. Outpatient2. InpatientOutpatients with defined treatments in general pose no problem. Inpatients are the Once who are the cash cow in this place. We have experienced the case with an accident resulting in a double broken shin, a broken nose, 7 ribbs broken. Surgery was urgent but postponed day by day 7 (seven) days despite daily promises. Total cost of stay so far without surgery: 300'000 THB (Three hundred thousand) !!!It was a lawyer who was needed to get the X_ray and reports handed out to the patient, not before a warning to call the Tourist Police was given.6 staff members of the BKK Hospital showed up upon the lawyers request for documents, proposing to accept help for Tourists, obviously to create pressure to the patient.Conclusion: The Hospital is in competition wit others also the Government Hospital, where almost every MD has gotten their formation in Thailand or abroad. As a private Hospital it has become a primary economic issue at the cost of the patients wellbeing !!!
My pregnant wife and I went there 1 week ago, we have Cigna insurance which is accepted there. They refused to help my wife who was having contractions and told us to go to another hospital. We ended up going to Bangkok and my wife had our baby in Bumrungrad Hospital.This was a truly terrible experience not worthy of even 1 star.

Good quality Thai private hospital chain you can find in many cities. Service is good, emergency room is well equipped and staffed and it's quite clean. Doctors are professional too. You do get a LOT of medicine here, including the ubiquitous amoxicillin you get everywhere. Maximizing profits and potentially contributing to the next wave of drug resistant super viruses. They're pretty good at going OVER the OPD limit for whatever insurance you have which is greedy. Should ask first. Plenty of parking in the back, an Au Bon Pain Cafe, a 7 Eleven in the main building and toilets are clean too.

The employees are to the point mostly due to the language barrier but the front desk, nurses that see you and doctors all speak plenty English to understand what’s going on with you. The pharmacy is more expensive than what you could find else where but still way less than you would pay at a western country. Cost to see the doctor and get a prescription is all paid for at the pharmacy. I saw a doctor and got several prescriptions. Pain killer, antibiotics, herbal tincture, cough drops and an upper respiratory decongestant for $90. Which is expensive for Thai standards but I would have paid $1500 for a comparable visit in my home country without insurance.

Horrible pediatrician, prescribed antibiotics without any blood test
This hospital was reasonably good in the past, but of late has become a cash machine. It performs unwanted tests and provides bags of unneeded prescription drugs. The great doctors who used to work there, now seem to be replaced with very young interns or newly minted physicians. The level of care has dropped and I no longer consider it my first choice in heathcare.
Just a money grab. Significantly more expensive than comparable hospitals in Bangkok. They know traveling to Bangkok is cumbersome and have jacked up prices accordingly. The pharmacy in the hospital also charges 5 times more than the pharmacies in town.

I was hospitalized here in November 2016 after a scooter accident. I've never been to a hospital, especially in Thailand, where the nurses were hostile for no reason and exceptionally uncaring and unprofessional. I had to call the operator to request that an IV needle be removed from my arm. After 4 calls and 6 hours, I removed it myself. Nurses just sit at their desk on their smartphones.Even though I had comprehensive insurance coverage, the hospital guards would not let me leave the hospital until I paid in cash. The public Hua Hin Hospital is less svelte physically but gives great care at a much lower price and the doctors and nurses are much nicer as well. No one should pay Bangkok Hospital prices when there is a great public hospital in the city!

Went in for a cut on my foot that occurred on the beach. Doctor glanced at it and dismissed it, refused to clean cut but insisted on getting shots which cost extra. Fee was higher than most US doctors and got the impression this a money making factory for innocent tourists.
I asked for a cost estimation for a simple blood test, 1 ringer acetate and ciprofloxacin treatment. I was told the price at the admission but when it was time to leave the hospital (after 16 hours) the price was multiplied by 5 times ending up 35000 THB.They left me with no choice then paying and a "sorry for the miscommunication".For the service definitely not worth the price.They even wanted to charge me for medication that I should take home there price was over 1400 THB. I went to the pharmacy out side the hospital they charged me less then 300 THB for the same medications.

The hospital is fairly new and well equipped. Staff speaks English reasonably well. Process from registration through triage, x-ray and consultation is very well organized and everything runs smooth. The doctor we saw was very knowledgeable and friendly. The cost of it all may have been a bit higher than elsewhere but that's what you have insurance for. If you need a hospital when in Hua Hin, this is the place to go.
Little expensive place for me
This hospital is bad as hell. 1) you have to wait for long long time before treated well. My son was coughing and we had waited 7 hours before having a treatment plan. 2) very inexperienced nurses - my son got the needle pierced into hand 3 times and still they could not find the vessel. 3) extreme expensive - they never tell you how much is the treatment, even I asked for the detail, the nurse pretended to know nothing. We stayed only 1 night and the total bill is 20,000 Baht. It is a slaughterhouse
