Bumrungrad International Hospital

From 381 verified reviews

Glinda Deblois, 22 November 2020

I understand why this hospital is considered the best in Thailand. Traveled all the way from Australia to get my treatment here after I heard good things about it. Superb staff, very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Many of the staff can speak English, so communication is not a problem. I asked many questions and told them my concerns, and they answered patiently and put me at ease. Had to stay for several days after my treatment. The room was super clean, well-designed, and definitely made me feel comfortable. The nurses checked on me every hour or so, and the food was surprisingly great. Though having to stay in a hospital is never a good experience, I would say my time in Bumrungrad was a pleasant one. A bit pricey when compared to other hospitals around the area, but with the quality service and high-level care offered, it was all worth it.

What you need to know about Nasal Polyps Removal in Thailand

Nasal polyps are a small, noncancerous growth of tissue of the nasal cavity and are both common and treatable. The removal of nasal polyps in Thailand is a safe and beneficial procedure available to those suffering from the condition. Typically, people suffering from nasal polyps in Thailand can have the procedure done on an outpatient basis, depending on the type and size of the polyps. More serious cases may require a brief overnight stay in the hospital. Prior to the procedure, patients should speak with their doctors regarding the steps and recovery process. The procedure itself is generally done under a general anesthetic, depending on the size of the polyps and the extent of the tissue around them. At the time of the procedure, the surgeon will take a biopsy of the tissue, if necessary, and then carefully remove the polyps through the nose. The removed tissue is typically examined to determine whether or not there are signs of infection. The recovery period may last from one to two weeks. During this time, the patient should avoid strenuous activities, such as running, sports and swimming. The doctor will also often advise the patient to take medications to reduce swelling and keep the nose clear of any blockages. The removal of nasal polyps in Thailand is an effective, low-risk procedure with almost immediate relief from the symptoms associated with the disease. Patients who undergo the procedure generally experience less nasal congestion, improved breathing, and restored senses of smell and taste. Whether you are looking for relief from frequent sinus infections, nasal blockages, or other common symptoms, nasal polyp removal in Thailand may provide the answer. Enquire with your doctor to find out if nasal polyp removal is the right solution for you.
