That was the best experience I've had in a hospital. Being in a hospital sucks😔 but the whole staff made my stay a special one. 😆 They were truly amazing. My doctor was remarkable and the nurses really went above and beyond to comfort me in every way possible. They checked on me every 10 minutes or so prior and after the surgery to reassure me that everything was going to be ok.

What you need to know about Vaginismus Treatment in Thailand

Vaginismus treatment in Thailand is a relatively new concept in the field of women’s health. To understand what it is and the options available to women who suffer from the condition, it is important to be aware of the latest information in the field. Vaginismus is a condition in which the vaginal muscles involuntarily tighten and limit the penetration of a penis, fingers, tampons or any other object, during sexual intercourse or insertion. This can cause extreme distress, distress and even pain during attempts at normal sexual activity. When it comes to vaginismus treatment in Thailand, the first step is to receive proper diagnosis, of course. Following this, the best and most suitable treatment approach will be chosen. This will depend on the individual’s unique circumstances and the severity of the condition. The most common forms of treatment include pelvic floor physical therapy, which aims to educate the body about the sensations associated with penetration. This type of therapy will focus on exercises to train the muscles in the pelvic floor to relax, allowing easier access to the vagina. If these exercises offer limited relief or if the pain is disabling, biofeedback therapy may be used. This approach looks to focus on the automatic response of tightness when attempting penetration and attempt to stop negative responses to the stimulus. Additionally, therapy such as cognitive behavioural therapy and counselling can also be employed to address the deeper psychological causes of the condition. In Thailand, a number of specialist clinics offer vaginismus treatment with the help of trained professionals. Most of them will use the latest medicines and techniques to help women of all ages to attain their desired objectives. For women who are looking for a way to address the unique challenges associated with vaginismus, there is hope. With the right kind of treatment and support, vaginal penetration can occur and sexual activity can be enjoyed once more.

What types of vaginismus treatments are available in Thailand?

Vaginismus treatment in Thailand is available in a few forms. Firstly, physical therapy, also called pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation or Kegel exercise, has proved effective in restoring the elasticity of the vaginal muscles, enabling the woman to relax into penetrative intercourse. Additionally, psychotherapy, either based on cognitive behavioural models or systemic models, can help in addressing the underlying issues related to intimacy, body image and self-confidence. In certain cases, an in-office procedure such as intra-vaginal injection of local anaesthetic may be used. Lastly, botox injection is also available in some clinics, although it can be expensive. Botox injection typically costs between 4000-6000 THB (Around 120-180 USD). With a tailored combination of these treatments, many women with vaginismus can successfully regain the sexual confidence they desire.
