Was with the doctors in the clinic some time ago, had a 3-fold pelvic switch in 2015, where Heidelberg is supposed to be specialized. Wanted to get me a second opinion. as a "so-called specialist" you should be able to recognize possible complications, especially since that was nothing unusual. After that, I went to other hospitals and had some tests on me.If a muscle and a nerve are severed and a "specialist" does not recognize it, then he has no business in the clinic.I've now got a neurostimulator.So much for the subject it comes from the psyche.Are only out for coal
The ENT is trying hard, but no one could really help.Had 2 appointments, the first one I came out after 7 hours and the second after 6 hours.Sitting around with nausea, dizziness and wearing a mask the whole time.Unreasonable!No organization, unable to schedule appointments.

It's been six years since my father underwent pancreatic cancer surgery at Heidelberg Hospital. Actually it's hard to call it surgery - doctors opened his abdominal cavity and found that they couldn't cut out his tumor. My son is 8 weeks old and at U3 the pediatrician found an unexplained mass next to the kidney during an ultrasound. We were then referred directly to the children's clinic and should come straight away, which was great. There they did another ultrasound and said that it was 95 percent adrenal hemorrhage, but for safety's sake they wanted to do an MRI to be 100 percent sure. So far so good. My son and I came to the metabolism station until it is clear when we can go to the MRI. We were told a few more tests to be on the safe side when we were already there. Various blood values, once urine was taken and a cortisol daily profile should be created because we would probably have to wait two days before we can get into the tube. Everything went faster and the next day we were able to go in, after the MRI the ward doctor came and said that of course nothing official had been written yet but everything still looked like an adrenal haemorrhage and we would get that in writing. We should stay there one more night so that he gets the sedation behind him and because of the cortisol she said she talks to the doctor if you still have to finish it because all the other values are good so far and the sedation falsifies the profile anyway . Later she said that you would do it, but of course you take into account that he hardly sleeps at night because he was in a surge and the values are falsified anyway because of the sedation. Waiting time should always be planned in, but something is simply exaggerated.The professional competence and the quality of the advice were very good. There is definitely no shortage of good staff. The university clinic is on a huge site, which is well signposted. The hospital is clean and the staff is friendly. Toilets are clean. There is a cafeteria which is very expensive. The many parking spaces are just as expensive.

Very dissatisfied with ENT emergency ambulance.I visited the ENT emergency ambulance on Monday evening on March 2nd, 2020 at around 00.30am because I had severe pain in the larynx and difficulty breathing.That's why I went to the emergency room, but unfortunately I was rejected by the resident doctor because I got breathless air and had no breathlessness, so it wasn't an emergency for her, so she had no need to examine me and therefore refused me and did not check anything outrageous I have never experienced !!!

I had to on St. Nicholas' day to the MRT in the medical clinic and should pay for my MRI pictures 5 € if I want to burn them to a CD. I have never really experienced such outrageous things. So far, I never had to pay anything for my x-rays as a cash-desk patient. One is not enlightened and the lady at the MRI registration (diagnostic and interventional radiology) is more than uncompetent and unfriendly. I would never go back. I'm from further and need these shots. The main thing is to pull the money out of the patients' pockets. An impudence!

Wait one and a half hours for the examination5. 10 minutes examinationNow I ask myself, why patient management at such a prestigious clinic has stopped in the middle of the last century?1. Either the time management is so bad or the time of the patients does not matter. Otherwise these long waiting times can not be explained.3. The information policy is even worse than with Deutsche Bahn. You never know how long to wait. Also, there are no opportunities to get informed in advance (SMS ect.). That means you have to spend hours with the children in crowded waiting rooms instead of spending time on the playground or in the bistro, for example. They neglected my husband after his 8 hour operation that he was not able to recover from. The operation itself was a great success and he recovered from that pretty well, but because he was to get his vaq changed every 3 days, the let him go without food for several days at a time, once for 6 days that he lost 10 kgs that he never regained and almost went septic, and all because of other emergencies, this should never be able to happen in a learning university Klinik. Needless to say my husband passed away. Now he rests in peace

Constantly long waiting times despite appointment. Signs to the buildings and departments / rooms as good as not available. Every day a lot of bureaucracy. The patient has to play the errand boy and collect the reports concerning him from the different buildings (!) And departments. Computer systems fail. Treatments are confused (consequence of computer breakdown?). You can get scared! The staff tries to tear out what else is possible. But I can not give 5 stars to the organization.

I was saved a few years ago by my life, I'm still very grateful for it. Whenever I was rejected back then, not here you listened to me and did his job properly, they had helped me a lot. Do not understand some of the reviews, well some sisters are not the nicest some doctors do not even but I do not care who know what they do and the doctors can do something. And no matter what I was there I was always helped there even if I had to wait a bit longer .Ausserdem you must always think they also have a long working week, week are on public holidays on the weekends for some there are also overtime because you can sometimes be rude and not always just smile and some patients are not just the nicest.

I am 22 years old and received a referral from my gyn for the breast center in Heidelberg.I was also more than satisfied in the breast center. Very polite and competent staff. Especially the doctor could give me a lot of courage.However, I was then handed over to the gynecological clinic for an upcoming operation. The doctors suspect breast cancer and wanted to surgically extract a biopsy from my lymph nodes. I've never seen such rude behavior. After the procedure, no doctor came to me. I was not informed how everything went and therefore had more question marks than I already have. The nurse said the doctors had a party and therefore no one would be available to talk to me. The next morning for a visit came a doctor who said everything went well. I politely told her to call the responsible doctor who performed the surgery because I would like to know what he thinks because of the structure and size of the Lhym nodes. She said he would come later but he never came. I was not sufficiently informed. In addition, I had very strong pain. As a German one feels here now as a second-class person. The proportion of foreigners among the patients is felt to be greater than 50%. The attending physicians (even chief physicians) do not care about what it means for German patients, for example, to come to a room with Arab extended families. The attending physicians are often only 25 years old and thus can not really have much experience. Organizationally, the hospital (personal impression) is an absolute disaster. One is sent with baby and luggage from department to department (several miles of track), no one knows that you have an appointment and the staff at information desks was extremely rude and unwilling to help. We stopped the treatment in Heidelberg after consultation with the Deputy Head of Neonatology.Further problems:- Telephone accessibility of the hospital- Lifts defective- Disinfection stations empty or not working - The patient has to take care of everything himself and ask questions- We sat as private patients despite appointments all day without a room.- Dates are not adhered to, the patient receives information only on request.- Recipe was not signed and therefore invalid- When logging out of the hospital we forgot to return the examination book and we noticed this only at home.- etc.

After 6 weeks waiting for an appointment in the neurosurgeon you will be treated so superficially in a life-threatening illness, as I have never experienced before. Incompetent, anti-social worker in the department for internal / cancer ward yelled at witnesses in front of assembled patient witnesses at my dying father that he would no longer be treated here because he did not pay. Background: PRIVATE health insurance was late in payment for a few days. Doctor, who showed through the flower on the palliative care unit that my father would die in the next few days, bleated at me, you can see what my patient's testament was worth. Nothing. Thank you. Too much bureaucracy - less care for patients.This review is specifically addressed to international services and not doctors at Heidelberg.A friend of mine recommended to consult with Heidelberg Hospital about surgery and possible treatment. I inquired their international services more than two weeks ago and instead of referring my request to the appropriate doctor for the consultation they drowned it in bureaucratic procedures asking for translations of irrelevant documents.I was able to get second opinion for clinics in Israel and the US in less than two days and talked to doctors directly there. So if you are an international patient, I don’t recommend consulting with Heidelberg - you would lose precious time and efforts.

I went to the clinic with my father-in-law because he had severe symptoms after treating kidney stones.First, everything seemed perfectly organized, the recording was really 1A, then my father-in-law on the ward blood and urine was removed and we should come back to the station in an hour, to here my fullest understanding. A few days later we were told that she could do this therapy in her hometown Stuttgart and we agreed. In the doctor's meeting in Stuttgart we learn then that in the doctor's letter from HD is literally that the patient does not want to have therapy. We fell off the clouds. But maybe the doctor himself has a tumor and does not remember what he says ???

I have been here for 4 days now. Had a tumor on the spine that pressed on the nerves channel. After the excellent op I feel my legs again. My biggest thanks go to Prof. Dr. med. Carla Jung. A very positive, lovable person. After the op, she also personally inquired about me and promised me courage. And otherwise the whole staff from the intensive care up to the carers is in a great mood which motivates a sick person fully. I am just happy.
