Great clinic - would recommend. Great service, precision and great medical coordination for patients to feel at-ease. I was impressed by the level of professionalism and the attention given to patients. It's always a bit stressful to use an overseas clinic but Formedi made it very easy to engage with and gave due attention to patients alongside very relevant advice for success.
From start to finish my experience with Dr Cem and his rep Mo has been great. My op was only less than a week ago so I can’t fully comment on my results but my experience has been wonderful so far. I did temporarily see my nose for the first time after op 5 days later and prepared myself for the worse due to swelling and watching videos of others, but to my surprise was already very impressed with the new shape. I know that it’ll only get better with time and patience. The communication, medical experience and support have been amazing even now when I’m back in my resident country. I know that I can message Mo anytime and he’ll always respond with an answer. I would highly recommend Dr Cem, I love that he only specialises in noses!!
I had a very good experience with travel medi. In the beginning I was fearful of going all the way to turkey for my breast augmentation, but my travel coordinator Berat was wonderful, he answered all my questions promptly and he helped to turn my fear into excitement. Everything was very well organized from the transfers and hotel, to the pre and post op appointments to the surgery itself. The hotel location is excellent as everything you need is in walking distance and the area is one of the best and safest in Istanbul. Berat was always available if I had any questions, and I felt very looked after. Dr Esra Bilgen is very efficient and an excellent surgeon. She understood what I wanted immediately and she made recommendations according to her expertise. I felt that my surgery went very well, my results are amazing, and the pain has been very manageable with the medications prescribed. I did not even have any bruising with tells me that she is a very skilled and gentle surgeon. I definitely recommend travel medi, and if I ever have anything done in the future they will be my top choice.
I had an excellent experience in turkyana clinic, the environment looked so professional and organised, as was the work done for the services I requested. The staff were respectful and helpful with every little thing I questioned, and made sure to keep me comfortable during my whole stay. I had a standard type of procedure for a relatively reasonable price. Would recommend for anyone looking for a cosmetic improvement!
so good, the whole team were amazing and the aftercare was just what i needed after the surgery

I have been and had a couple of surgeries with the amazing Dr Duygu Aksoy, she is amazing and I would not go anywhere else for any future treatments. All of the girls at the clinic are lovely and always helpful when I have asked questions. They only negative is the Language barrier but then that’s more my fault than there’s as I travel from the UK to Antalya for my treatments and cant speak a word of Turkish but between us we work through this, Dr Duygu Aksoy and a couple of girls there speak a little English.
Very nice service and every one is very friendly and helpful. The dentists and the surgeons are very skilled and know exactly what they are doing. They give you advise every step of the way and go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want out of the experience. I was a bit apprehensive before but am very comfortable and very happy now that I have been here.
I felt very comfortable as everything was explained at each stage. My gastric sleeve for weight loss surgery was done in this clinic as recommended by a friend who did hers in 2020. From the moment I contacted Dr Mani, I felt very comfortable from the way he answered my questions. On arrival at the airport, a very friendly driver picked me and my sister to the hospital. I was quite impressed by how organised they were. I was admitted in a very comfortable room and my sister also had a bed. Pre-operation test started that same night and in the morning I was given a full medical Check prior to my operation and I was very impressed by the modern equipment and cleaning in place. I felt very comfortable as everything was explained at each stage. After my surgery on 23/03/2022, I had a little pain but did not struggle because very outstanding nurses were up to date with pain killers and IV fluid. A few hours after, I was able to walk up and down the corridor. Following surgery, Dr Mani and his team checked in on me daily. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. An informative lecture was given to me by dietitian Eren. My sister was also well looked after by the team. We were moved to a beautiful hotel that was paid by the hospital as I booked to stay a little longer but it was not a problem to Dr Mani. The driver and the media Coordinator took us around the city when we needed them. It was like a holiday to us. Dr Mani have been replying to every question I have asked since returning home in the UK. I am looking forward to going back there after my weight loss. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who might need their service.

Rhinoplasty, commonly known as the “nose job,” is plastic surgery to change the shape of the nose and to improve its function. This procedure can be performed for medical and cosmetic reasons. Those with breathing problems caused by a birth defect, deviated septum, sinusitis, or an injury to the nose, as well as those who are not happy with the appearance of their nose, can undergo rhinoplasty.
Rhinoplasty has a number of benefits. However, the most compelling reason for patients to have this surgery is to improve the appearance of their noses, which can boost their self-esteem significantly. Besides altering the form and size of your nose, the procedure can also strengthen the bridge, narrow the nostrils, and reshape the tip.
While anyone can undergo rhinoplasty, teenagers are advised to wait until their nose has reached its adult size.
During rhinoplasty, you will be given local or general anesthesia to make sure that you are comfortable and you don't feel any pain. Your surgeon might perform the procedure inside your nose or through an incision at the base of your nose.
Changing the shape of your nasal bones or cartilage can be done in several ways, depending on how much needs to be added or removed, available materials, and your nose’s structure.
If your nose needs to be augmented because you want to increase its size, prosthetic implants or cartilage from your nasal septum or ear is used. Once your surgeon is done altering the shape of your nose and correcting any defect, they will place the nose’s skin and tissue back, then close the incisions with stitches.
Depending on the complexity of the procedure and the type of anesthesia used, you may be able to leave the hospital on the same day or stay in the hospital for a day or two. The surgery itself takes around 1.5 to 3 hours to complete. Once you are discharged from the hospital, you should not leave Turkey right away. Instead, plan to stay about 10 to 14 days for initial recovery and follow-up checkups. A week following the surgery, your surgeon will remove your stitches.
You generally need to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks until you can resume most of your normal activities. However, you should not perform any strenuous activities, such as intense exercise, for about 3 to 6 weeks. During the first few days after the surgery, you will experience some swelling around your eyes, but these will subside within 3 to 14 days. You will also have to wear a nasal splint for about a week following the surgery.
Since you may experience some discomfort, your surgeon will give you painkillers to ease any pain and discomfort. Make sure to take the pain medication as prescribed. For a couple of weeks following the surgery, you should not blow your nose, as well as laughing or talking too much. You also need to avoid any clothes that need to be pulled over your head and glasses on your nose for a few weeks. Always make sure to cover your nose while going out in the sun during your recovery period.
It's important that you avoid bumping or hitting your nose, and keep your nose safe and protected from anything that could misalign the bones and undo the results. To help you recover smoothly and quickly, eat healthy and nutritious food.
Rhinoplasty is considered as one of the most complicated facial cosmetic surgeries. However, thanks to the advances of technology and surgeons’ extensive experience, the procedure has a very high success rate of between 85% and 90%.
Although rhinoplasty is generally safe, it does carry some potential risks of complications and side effects, including bleeding, infection, allergic reaction to the anesthesia, permanent numbness in your nose, difficulty breathing through the nose, an uneven-looking nose, discoloration, persisting pain, scarring, septal perforation, and a need for additional surgery.
If you are unable to undergo rhinoplasty, you can opt for its minimally invasive or noninvasive alternatives, such as filler injections or Botox. Both filler injections and Botox are noninvasive and require only a very short visit with your doctor. It works by injecting the substance into your nose to change its shape. Many people choose these methods because it is not as painful as rhinoplasty, requires little to no downtime, and no incision or stitches are involved.
If you want to improve your breathing, you may be recommended to use nasal strips. The nasal strip is a type of bandage with adhesive with embedded splints or plastic ribs that is applied across the bridge of the nose and the sides of the nostrils. It can keep the airway open, making breathing easier.
