Completely thrilled with the results! It was basically painless and easy, and it has changed my life completely... the whole process was excellent. From the moment I walked in to the time I left, I was well looked after. The nurses were all lovely and helped me deal with the stress I had before my procedure. Thanks to them I felt comfortable and relaxed. Thank you, I really appreciate the hardwork. The doctor is very professional and quick. The departments are clean, tidy, and well maintained. Plus there is a coffee shop, as well as several shops. 👍
That was the best experience I've had in a hospital. Being in a hospital sucks😔 but the whole staff made my stay a special one. 😆 They were truly amazing. My doctor was remarkable and the nurses really went above and beyond to comfort me in every way possible. They checked on me every 10 minutes or so prior and after the surgery to reassure me that everything was going to be ok.
I understand why this hospital is considered the best in Thailand. Traveled all the way from Australia to get my treatment here after I heard good things about it. Superb staff, very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Many of the staff can speak English, so communication is not a problem. I asked many questions and told them my concerns, and they answered patiently and put me at ease. Had to stay for several days after my treatment. The room was super clean, well-designed, and definitely made me feel comfortable. The nurses checked on me every hour or so, and the food was surprisingly great. Though having to stay in a hospital is never a good experience, I would say my time in Bumrungrad was a pleasant one. A bit pricey when compared to other hospitals around the area, but with the quality service and high-level care offered, it was all worth it.
The price is a bit expensive, but the service was incredible so I don't mind. I had a hip replacement, and the surgeon was very professional and knowledgeable. Felt scared at first, but since the surgeon was very reassuring, the whole experience became stress-free. The staff were very friendly, efficient, and courteous. Everyone was very encouraging as well, helping me to recover faster. Also, the food was very good. 😄 The hospital was clean and tidy. Everything was modern. I really wish my local hospitals were this impressive.

Eye Examination is a medical procedure / surgery that requires coordination between specialist surgeons, anesthetists and various other specialist medical professionals. This type of Ophthalmology procedure / treatment is very affordable the world over, and particularly in Thailand - this is mostly because the skill set, experience and equipment required by the specialist doesn't need to be especially advanced. For Eye Examination, medical records, reports or any supporting documents may be required for the specialist to assess prior to the treatment.
As with any major surgery, recovery can vary according to the individual. Your immediate recovery can be affected by various factors like the sedation (anesthetic) type and how long you're sedated for, but you should expect to spend some time recovering in the ward before being discharged. Then you should expect to rest for a few more days before you begin to commence light activity again - remember, Eye Examination is a major surgery and your body needs time to recover. As for aftercare, it's crucial that you follow the surgeon's advice and adhere to the prescribed medication plan. You'll also be advised about diet, how to care for and treat the wounds and how to recognize possible signs of infection.
It's likely you'll be advised by the medical team to stay in Thailand for up to two weeks after your surgery, this will allow for enough time for your wounds to heal and have stitches removed, if required. The surgeon will expect to see you for at least one or two post-op consultations before giving the all clear to travel home again. The success rate for Eye Examination in Thailand is now extremely high given the recent advances in medical technology and surgeon experience. However, with any surgery, there is always the possibility of complications, such as infection, bleeding, numbness, swelling and scar tissue. But if you rest post-op and follow the surgeon's recovery advice, you can expect to reduce these odds close to zero.
