That was the best experience I've had in a hospital. Being in a hospital sucks😔 but the whole staff made my stay a special one. 😆 They were truly amazing. My doctor was remarkable and the nurses really went above and beyond to comfort me in every way possible. They checked on me every 10 minutes or so prior and after the surgery to reassure me that everything was going to be ok.

I’ve got Civid19 on 16/05/22 and designed to get medical package at the hospital due to its holiday so I don’t want to wait the package sending by post. I think many patients so i had to wait around 2 hrs and the queue arrangement is not good enough even I registered online already. During Home Isolation for 10 days, they followed up via line every morning and gave good recommendations. Overall is great. Thank you very much for good service

The price is a bit expensive, but the service was incredible so I don't mind. I had a hip replacement, and the surgeon was very professional and knowledgeable. Felt scared at first, but since the surgeon was very reassuring, the whole experience became stress-free. The staff were very friendly, efficient, and courteous. Everyone was very encouraging as well, helping me to recover faster. Also, the food was very good. 😄 The hospital was clean and tidy. Everything was modern. I really wish my local hospitals were this impressive.

Glinda Deblois, 22 November 2020

I understand why this hospital is considered the best in Thailand. Traveled all the way from Australia to get my treatment here after I heard good things about it. Superb staff, very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Many of the staff can speak English, so communication is not a problem. I asked many questions and told them my concerns, and they answered patiently and put me at ease. Had to stay for several days after my treatment. The room was super clean, well-designed, and definitely made me feel comfortable. The nurses checked on me every hour or so, and the food was surprisingly great. Though having to stay in a hospital is never a good experience, I would say my time in Bumrungrad was a pleasant one. A bit pricey when compared to other hospitals around the area, but with the quality service and high-level care offered, it was all worth it.

What you need to know about Laser Eye Surgery LASIK in Thailand

The thought of Laser Eye Surgery (LASIK) in Thailand can be overwhelming. However, with the right knowledge and understanding, it can be an effective way of restoring vision and improving the quality of life of the person undergoing the procedure. To start off, you will need to schedule an appointment with an experienced ophthalmologist and undergo a consultation. During the consultation, the ophthalmologist will assess your physical and medical conditions, and complete a thorough eye examination. They will then provide you with advice as to whether you are a suitable candidate for the misalignment of the eye through LASIK or another refractive procedure. It is important to get informed about the procedure and ask questions about the process. The ophthalmologist should be able to answer all your questions and if you feel uncomfortable at any point, you should ask for more information. If you have any doubts, it is important to raise them with your doctor. The LASIK procedure is painless, with minimal discomfort as anesthetic drops are administered before the procedure begins. It typically takes around 30 minutes, with the patient normally noticing a substantial improvement in their vision right away. Some patients may need a follow-up laser treatment or further measures to ensure the best possible results. It is important to follow the advice of your doctor closely, as the aftercare is essential for the success of the procedure. Patients should also be aware that the results of a LASIK procedure are not always permanent, and some vision problems may still arise. If a patient experiences any discomfort or worsening of their symptoms, they should seek medical help as soon as possible. At the end of the day, LASIK surgery in Thailand is a safe and effective way of restoring vision, and if performed by a certified ophthalmologist, most patients will have excellent visual results.
