Come to use the service regularly. Service is very good. The diabetes department may have to wait for a very long time. There are few doctors and many patients. It's generally considered good.
The doctor is very detail oriented and listened to me about my expectations and concerns. All of the staff were wonderful throughout the entires process. I had very minimal during and after my procedure. I am thrilled with the outcome. Absolutely fantastic. 👌
Not the worst, but not the best as well. The clinic is clean, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't get much of a result. The areas I wanted to improve stays the same.
I understand why this hospital is considered the best in Thailand. Traveled all the way from Australia to get my treatment here after I heard good things about it. Superb staff, very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Many of the staff can speak English, so communication is not a problem. I asked many questions and told them my concerns, and they answered patiently and put me at ease. Had to stay for several days after my treatment. The room was super clean, well-designed, and definitely made me feel comfortable. The nurses checked on me every hour or so, and the food was surprisingly great. Though having to stay in a hospital is never a good experience, I would say my time in Bumrungrad was a pleasant one. A bit pricey when compared to other hospitals around the area, but with the quality service and high-level care offered, it was all worth it.

A body lift is a plastic surgery that aims to remove excess, sagging skin due to significant weight loss, pregnancy, or age and sun damage. This procedure is done to raise, firm, and tighten the skin of the buttocks, thighs, hips (flanks), abdomen, waist, and groin. Any excess skin from those areas is removed and the surrounding tissue is repositioned to create a more youthful and aesthetically pleasing body contour.
Since a body lift cannot remove significant fat deposits, your weight should be stabilized at or near your ideal weight prior to the procedure. Body lifts can be combined with liposuction to achieve an improved overall contour.
Before the procedure, you may struggle with exercise and enjoying the activities you like since excess skin can limit your mobility. In some cases, excess skin can also lead to rashes and other sores that may result in infection. After a body lift, all of those problems will be addressed, allowing you to enjoy life to the fullest.
A body lift is performed under general anesthesia and in some cases; it may also be performed under local anesthesia with intravenous sedation. Your surgeon will recommend the best choice for you.
There are numerous technique to perform a body lift. In general, your surgeon will start by making an incision around the treated areas, usually encircling your body much like a belt. Then, the excess skin is removed and repositioned, and the remaining skin is pulled into its new position. Finally, the incisions are closed with stitches.
Although body lifts may be done on an outpatient basis, many people need to stay in the hospital overnight. Once you are discharged from the hospital, you should not leave Thailand right away. Allow for at least 7 to 14 days to stay in the local area. Your surgeon may schedule a follow-up appointment to remove your stitches and monitor your healing. In addition, you need to allow your body to heal before you can travel.
The recovery period after a body lift can be different from one person to another. Since it is a major surgical procedure, you will generally need four to six weeks of recovery period before you can return to work and your normal activities. You should also wait at least six to eight weeks before exercising and doing any strenuous activities.
You will be given detailed aftercare instruction, which may include caring for your surgical site, a light exercise plan, and a diet plan to follow. The results of a body lift are long-lasting, but you need to maintain a stable weight and general fitness by following a well-balanced diet and exercising regularly.
Thanks to the advancement of medical technology, body lifts are safer than ever. The success rate of body lifts is generally high, with most patients who had it claimed to be satisfied. However, all procedure carries some risk, and body lifts are no exception. The possible risks and side effects of body lifts include bleeding, infection, skin laxity, separation of incision, skin necrosis, the formation of a seroma, abnormal scar formation, asymmetry, swelling, bruising, numbness, and unsatisfactory results.
Since body lift is one of the most invasive cosmetic procedures that require several weeks of recovery, many people choose to have less-invasive alternatives, including radiofrequency and infrared treatments, laser treatments, endermologie, as well as diet, exercise, and body lift creams. Unfortunately, if you need to remove large amounts of excess skin that exist in different areas of your body, a body lift may be the only feasible option.
